THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Me and Anna were eating our lunch silently until Anna broke the silence.

I looked up at her and she said.

" Edison your father and my father visited me in earlier. "

That's why she asked me to meet for lunch.

I was quite taken back when she asked me to Have lunch with her so this is the reason.

" so what they said."

" They want us to go on a honeymoon tomorrow."

I chocked on my food as soon as I heard that word slip off from her mouth.

Anna passed me the water and I calmed down.

" Are you okay?"

" yeah..but what did you just said?"

" I know it's unexpected but that's what they want. I know we both just started to get to know each other. But they wouldn't listen to me."

"but.."

" I know what you are thinking but we can't tell this to our fathers they will be so disappointed so i decided to go and honestly I really wanted a break so i think this is the time. We can enjoy there. We can think of this as a vacation."

Well it's not a bad idea like I have any other choice.

" fine by me but where and when."

" Tomorrow they had already booked our tickets to Paris."

"Tomorrow? it too early.."

" yes I was also telling them but they didn't listen to me. I know you might have too much work to take care of."

" No thats not the matter infact my schedule for this week was almost free. My father must have known that."

" ohh that's good then. Fine by my side too."

" ok what's the timing."

"it's 8 in the morning."

" okay i guess we need to do our packing."

" yes lets head to home now."

We had our lunch in silence after that.

We both don't really have anything to talk about anything after that but we are not awkward around each other at all.

We finished our lunch and Anna excused herself to use washroom.

I stood outside in front of the car waiting for Anna then I decided to call my father.

" hello! Dad."

"yes son."

"dad what are you thinking now?"

"about what?"

" dad about my and y/n honeymoon."

"son did you forgot our plan. Or are you not interested anymore. "

This hit me hard to the reality. I almost forgot my real motive.

I clenched my phone tightly.

" I didn't forgot anything. I am working in my own way."

" Then I am just making it easy for you. By this you will get close to her. It will be easy for you."

" but..."

"son this important for our plan so just do it. This is the right way."

" But this feels too wrong...this feeling..."

"don't tell me you caught feelings for her?"

Huh? Feeling? For Anna.

Did I caught feeling for her?

" N_no...I didn't.:

" good then make sure to stick with the plan and never think about dropping the plan. You are my only hope now. You will not disappoint me right son."

I looked down on the ground.

Yes let's just stick to the plan. I will never disappoint my dad.

" Yes dad...I will never disappointed you. I make sure that."

" what to make sure?"

My eyes widen when i heard Anna's voice right behind me.

What she is doing behind me?

I hanged the call and turned around to see her.

" oh I was just talking with dad."

" ohh Everything's good then."

" yes. Let's go now."

She nodded and we both climbed in the car and I started the engine and started driving to home.

The car ride was silent.

I glanced at Anna who was looking out of the window.

What's this feeling? This is very uncomfortable like someone put a heavy stone on my chest.

This isn't like me. I never felt this feeling before.

My father words keep repeating in my head. I glanced at Anna and she was fast asleep.

I stopped at traffic light and looked at Anna who was sleeping silently.

Is I am really going to do that with her?

Was I always like that? I never bothered thinking about anything else other than my goals.

So what's stopping me this time?

Is she controlling me or what?

I was soon brought back to the world where I heard the car horn from the car behind mine.

The lights were green so I immediately drove off.

No Edison don't think too much.

I will do anything to make this plan successful I can't let my father to be disappoint in me.

My grip on the driving wheel tighten.

No matter what I will do this. That's right how this should be.

I woke up because of my alarm and saw Edison sleeping beside me while hugging me by my waist.

I got up from the bed and went directly in shower.

I came back from the shower to see a sleepy Edison sitting on the bed.

Aww he looks so cute.

"good morning"

He looked up at me and nodded lightly.

" we need to leave soon so go take a shower I will prepare our breakfast."

He get up and went to bathroom.

" sometime he is so cute."

I chuckled and headed downstairs to papare breakfast for both of us.

As I was preparing the breakfast Edison came down all ready in his causal clothes.

" come have your breakfast."

He came and sat down in front of me.

He is been awfully silent from yesterday..don't know why.

Doesn't he like the idea of us both going on vacation together.

We ate our breakfast in silence then my phone rang

I looked at the caller id and it's Jade.

Why is he calling me in the morning?

" Hello! Jade!"

" hii Anna! Good morning."

He sounds excited.

" Good morning but why are you calling me at this time?"

" I got to know that you and Edison are going to Paris."

"yeah but how did you know? Did Edison told you?"

" No but his dad asked me to book tickets for both of you"

" okay that makes sense."

" I was saying that I am Also traveling to Paris today at the same flight."

" huh? Why?"

" Well as for me I am going for some business. so would you guys like me to join u guys."

"yes why not? Why would we mind?"

"okay than let's meet at the airport then."

Why he is so excited?

"okay bye then"

" bye."

I hunged the phone.

" why is jade calling to at this time?"

Edison asked while munching on his breakfast.

" He is also going to Paris with us."

" huh.why?"

" don't you know he have some business work there."

" huh? Work really i don't remind any in Paris."

" you might have forgotten."

" how can I forgot that?"

" ok we are getting late so now stop thinking and eat your breakfast or we will be late for the flight."

He nodded and just ate his breakfast still thinking.

After a hour.......

Now we are waiting for Jade to show up.

After some time I saw a family figure coming towards us while waving his hand in air.

" Anna over here."

Jade yelled while smiling.

" hii Jade."

He came and stood in front of me.

" you look so preety as usual." I smiled at his compliment.

" you too i mean handsome."

I heard Edison coughing and turned toward him.

" I am here too."

"oh Edison i didn't notice you. How are you dude?"

"yah I am fine how are you?"

" I am also fine."

He laughed awkwardly.

" I want to ask you about the business cause I don't remember any in Paris."

Edison asked while Jade smiled awkwardly.

I looked at my watch and it was already time.

" Guys you can discuss that late first let's go or we will be late. Okay."

Both of them nodded and we made our way inside the airport.
