THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Me and Anna are done cooking now we are putting the dishes on the dinning table.

I never done these things but it's fun doing with Anna.

I didn't helped much but I can help a little.

I was placing the plates and dishes on the table.

" let me spray some black pepper on it."

I said and I was about to spray black pepper on the dish but Anna stopped me.

" stop "

She yelled and I stopped and look at her.

" why? What happened?"

" chris is allergic to black pepper."

"ohh"

She know Evey single detail about him.

" how do you know?"

" we were literally unsepraple in childhood so he used to come at my place and I used to cook for him when we were in high school."

" you two look pretty close."

" yes we are."

She smiled. Why is she smiling..

I feel uncomfortable this feeling is so weird.

" okay let's change they will here any time."

"yes."

We both walk to our bedroom and get changed After few minutes we heard the sound of door bell.

Anna opened the door and there all of them Standing smiling.

Chris came hugged Anna and Anna also hug him back.

Bro leave her are you going to chock her to death.

" uhh Anna I missed your cooking."

He said with a pout not goona lie he was looking so cute.

"cute."

She said and pinched his cheek i feel something burning inside my chest.

" bro leave her or Edison is going to kill you."

Jade said look at me while laughing and I gave him a death glare

" oh i forgot that Anna is married now sorry Edison. "

Anna hit his arm.

" owe it hurts."

She asked Mark who was standing beside me.

Mark smiled and answered.

" I am good. How are you?"

" me too but aren't you going to introduce that preety lady beside you."

Mark came here with his wife.

Yes he is married.

" She is my preety wife Emmy."

" wife? You are married."

" yes I am."

Anna smiled and looked at Emmy.

" Hello Emmy. I am Anna. You are very preety. "

" Thankyou and you are also very preety."

" Thankyou."

" And I am here all single."

Jade said dramatically wiping his fake tears.

" I am here single too."

Chris said and They both started fake crying

We all laughed at them.

" okay guys let's get our dinner."

Everyone said yes and we all went to dinning table and sat down.

" this isn't much but I tried my best."

" No it's more than best."

Said Jade.

"I will serve."

" No we will help ourselves. You don't need to worry about it."

Said Emmy.

Everyone served themselves and started eating.

I was sitting beside Anna and she was sitting beside Chris.

" wow this is so tasty."

Said Mark.

" Really? Thanks."

Said Anna.

" yes this really is better than any restaurant."

Said Jade and everyone else agreed.

" It's the same as you used to cook before. I really missed this."

Chris said.

Anna smiled.

Guess she is happy after all.

suddenly Anna phone ranged.

She excused herself and went a little far away

She talk for some minute and came back.

"uhh everyone if you are okay than can I invite my friend here. She is nearby."

"oh Anna you can we are fine and your friend is our friend. After all this is your house."

Said Emmy.

" okay than i will invite her. She will here in 5 min."

" who is coming?"

I asked her.

" Jinie."

I know her she is Anna's friend i met her on the day of our wedding.

My eyes fell On chris who was blushing wait what he blushed but why.

She called her and asked her to come.

Anna came and sat down beside me.

She and patted chris back and whispered something in his ear.

He looks nervous but why.

" Anna what happen to Chris?"

I whispered in her ear she smiled and whispered back.

" Actually chris likes jinie since childhood so he is quite nervous and let me tell you a fun part jinie also likes Chris.:

"really?"

She nodded its a relief that he dont like Anna he like somebody else.

Well it's not like I cared but still I feel kinda relieved.

After some time jinie and i can see the nervousness on chris's face.

Jinie greeted everyone with a smile.

" Jinie look who is here."

She pointed at chris.

" Ohh chris when did you came back."

" hii jinie just yesterday. "

" how are you?"

" I am fine."

Then they both fell silent and awkward.

"okay guys let's continue eating."

Jinie joined us and she was sitting in front of chris.

I can see chris and jinie were being shy around each other.

Both taking glance at each other time to time.

" Anna this is so good that I wish you were my wife instead of Edison."

Jade said what the hell is he saying.

I glared at him.

Anna chuckled at his statement and I cleared my throat.

"But that's your bad luck she is my wife now not yours so better luck in your next life."

I said while glaring at him.

"bro cool down you don't need to be do jealous. I was just saying."

He said and everyone looked at me.

" who is jealous? I am jealous? No i am not."

" yes you are. That's clearly visible on your face and tone."

Anna yelled we both shut our mouth quickly.

" You should be quite on dinning table. Eat your food quietly."

Anna said and chris snickered and said.

" she sometime become very scary."

"yeah can't agree more but she looks cute when she gets angry."

Jade said I glared at him and in back he smirked at me.

Is he flirting with my wife in front of me?

Don't make Anna more angry.

After That we all ate our food silently.

When we were finished everyone went in the living room.

I was also about to leave but Anna pulled me back.

" Edison I need to talk to you."

" yes what is it?"

" I want chris to confess to jinie today so listen to me and do as I say okay."

" okay what do you want me to."

" Help chris in confessing. You will be with chris In the balcony and when I call you I will send jinie up there. You just need to talk to chris and take him with you. Okay."

" okay I will do it."

" In meantime please arrange some flowers."

" okay I will order them."

" we don't have much time go talk with Chris and take him him you."

I went in living room and see chris sitting with jinie awkwardly then I called him.

" Chris come with me."
