Beep. Beep. The incoming-call chime sounds.

(It's Sheena-san.)

I open the system menu and start the call; an electromagnetic window floats up from the back of my hand and Sheena-san's face appears on it. Looked like a video call.

"Shiki-san, status?"

"Y-yes. Somehow—"

"Yoo-hoo! Sheena-chan!"

Tsubasa-san throws an arm around my shoulder.

"Wh-wha, T-Tsubasa-san!?"

"......Tsubasa-san"

Sheena-san's eyes narrow. Judging by her reaction, they seem to know each other.

"Yay! Sheena-chan, are you watching~? Sheena-chan's secret favorite, Shiki-chan, is right now—together with Tsubasa! Yay!! Pinching her cheeks like squish-squish!"

"Mya-mya!?"
