Immediately after hearing Ethan's proposal, a translucent blue mission screen appeared before Sete's eyes:

— We will accept your hospitality. — Spring gave that gentle smile that sent shivers down Thomas's spine. — I can help you get more supplies while we're here, since we'll be eating too. Also, it would be good if I got to know Ousbury better, as I need an effective strategy for dealing with the E.G.O. convoy. Understanding the battlefield is fundamental to this.

— That would be great. — Ethan smiled politely, adjusting the leather gloves on his hands. Sete hadn't noticed the strange accessories before, so her eyes lingered on them for a few seconds longer. — And about Ousbury, we can help you. I've been installing and hacking various cameras around the city, just to be safe. I can show you all the images I have available on the monitors. When we go to look for supplies, we can also show you the area. We know several shortcuts and hidden passages that can help you. 

Bianca nodded in agreement, it seemed that she would accept anything Ethan proposed.

— That sounds good. — Sete nodded calmly, the color returning to her face after some more time at rest.

Ethan and Bianca left the room and leaned against the door, leaving Thomas and Kai behind. They had their own business to attend to.

— By the way, Sete, about what that servant of the End said earlier... — After a few seconds, Thomas began to speak. — What did he mean when he mentioned your fallen friends? Are there more people like you out there?

— Hm. — Sete nodded. Kai's eyes sparkled like never before. — As you know, I'm the Spring, so of course the other seasons are deities too. Dez is the Summer, Maio is the Fall and Juno is the Winter. We're separated for now, but we'll see each other again.

— That's so cool!!! — Kai grabbed his brother's arm and started jumping around happily. — When are we going to meet them? Do they also have incredible powers like yours? What do they look like? 

Sete laughed softly at the boy's excitement, he reminded her of Dez, whose personality was as bright as the sun. Perhaps this was the first time the brothers had seen the young deity laugh so lightly, so they stared at her in stunned silence.

— I hope you'll soon be able to meet them…— She murmured, looking down at her hands, a remnant of her previous laughter lingering in the corner of her eyes. — So, I wanted to ask... What are cameras?

Thomas and Kai exchanged complicated glances.

They were used to Sete's lack of knowledge about human minutiae, but they had to hold back their laughter as long as possible. How had she accepted Ethan's proposal without even knowing what cameras were?

The brothers quickly explained what these devices were and, soon after, Thomas commented:

— Ethan is practically a genius of old technology, he knows all the analog devices that were used years ago. I've never seen anything like it, he knows how to fix them, improve them or even modify them for specific functions. Seriously, nobody cares about this kind of technology anymore, it's been completely replaced by modern holograms and wireless connections, which is why the E.G.O. doesn't even think about tracking mechanisms like these. — Sete had a confused expression on her face. She didn't understand half of what Thomas had just said, but it seemed that Ethan's knowledge would be of great value to them.

 — Ethan and Bianca didn't give us many details, but it seems that the heirs maintain a kind of secret rebel network. Those who aren't captured by the E.G.O. hide in remote places and communicate with each other via untraceable ancient radio frequencies. I think there are a lot of us out there, more than we could have imagined. — Thomas was excited, more than at any other point in the journey so far.

— I'm not sure what radio frequencies are, but this is great! It will be simpler to bring the heirs together with a means of communication linking them. — Sete smiled, refreshed after so much interesting information. — We need to convince Ethan and Bianca to go with us. Do you know what their abilities are?

— Bianca can control the wind! — Kai jumped up excitedly. — I saw when they appeared and distracted that servant of the End!

— Ethan, on the other hand, is a mystery. — Thomas added. — He never takes off those gloves, so maybe his powers have something to do with them. 

— The girl must be an heir of the Wind, we have to find out who Ethan is heir to. I can help them with their powers to gain their trust. — Sete thought aloud, wondering what steps she should take next.

Two knocks on the bedroom door roused her from her ramblings. Ethan put half his body into the room, a polite smile under his dark circles:

— The monitors with the images from the cameras are ready, do you want to take a look?
