"Where is she?" Mr. Romano Knights, Alexander's grandfather asked the moment Harry stepped inside his room. He was clearly stressed, and the part of him being on the search for his puppy gave him sleepless nights too.

Having heard about Selina and Alexander meeting up behind his back has him annoyed. Firstly, was the part where did not want her in his grandson's life anymore.

But clearly, Harry seemed to be having a different opinion with him, which was why he was here, this late at night after getting Ariana settled at the penthouse.

"I'm afraid i can't do as you request, sir." Harry said, looking at him with the best expression on his face to let him know that he wasn't challenging him, but trying to reason out with him what could be the best way to handle things to make it easier for him and as well as his grandson, Alexander.

He wasn't able to come see Alexander anymore at the hospital today, he was quite occupied at work. But Harry knew better that it had nothing to do with work, the old man clearly didn't want to show Alexander that he cared for him.

Moreover, with the kind of family he has it isn't going to look favourable on Alexander, if it gets out to the others that he gets doted on by his grandfather. Which was why he's the frontman here, but he could never tell Alexander about the things that he speaks with his grandfather about though.

It is between the both of them, the old man trusts him, which is one more reason why he calls for him whenever an issue about Alexander comes up.

"He's in love with her. Moreover, he lost his memory about what happened between the both of them for him to be in the hospital. Also, we were misinformed about what was happening between the two."

"Misinformed about what exactly?" Romano asked, but he didn't fully understand what exactly he's trying to say. But it's obvious that Harry was cheering on both couples. The same woman that has nearly led his grandson to his death?

"The man she was leaving with was her brother. She had been searching for her family for years m. We were the ones that thought otherwise." Harry lied.

But he kept a straight face to make sure that the old man believed his words. Selina has cheated on Alexander and ran away with her lover instead, that was the truth.

He's only reforming the whole matter in favour of Ariana who is impersonating her, while he still has his men on the job of finding her. The main purpose of doing this was to get Alexander's grandfather to back out of the search of finding Selina, since she's back.

"Is that right?" Romano asked, heaving slightly, while sitting back on the chair. It was now evident that he's not going to be bothered about Alexander's relationship again. "You should have done your search properly, what if Alexander has died while going after her?" He fussed.

"We were misinformed about the whole deal. Earlier that afternoon, an envelope came in containing the pictures of her and her brother. The intent was to get Alexander riled up, yet, we still don't know who has sent that." Harry added, when he remembered how the whole scenario played out.

The intent of those pictures was actually to get Alexander riled up, but as well to get him outside to kill him. Has it been that he was not swift on getting the accident cleared up, the police and as well the media wound have used that to make more money.

Harry couldn't entirely not suspect Alexander's brothers, since they are the first enemy he had. Yet, he couldn't think of any reason why they would want to kill someone, that they haven't met yet apart from the fact that they just want him dead plainly.

Hearing Harry's words, the old man shifted uncomfortably on his seat, while his mind raced wildly to suspect his grandsons, Dante and Nathan, but just to be on the safe side that he was beating at the wrong bush, he asked Harry.

"How far have you gone on your search to find who tried to kill him?" 

"It's a tied end, the driver died at the spot, he has no family but a measly beggar on the street that was paid anonymously to carry out the task." Harry said, letting him know about how the investigation went on.

"Let's keep this a secret." The old stood up, stretching himself ready for the night. "We don't want to make it known that we are still looking for who initiated that attack, but in the meantime, just take things slowly. Don't tell Alexander that it was a planned attack, he wouldn't let this go so easily."

"He already knows about that ." Harry said, which made the old man sigh tiredly. His guts are telling him that this was the handwork of his second grandson, but he won't live to see the both of them drag and tear each other apart about who to inherit his wealth.

"When will he get out of the hospital?" He asked.

He has ever really made an official introduction of Alexander to the family, apart from them seeing him on the television. Meanwhile, he still needs to clear the air and citizens' interest about accepting him into the family by registering his name.

"The doctor has suggested that he stays for a while to check his progress about recovering his lost memories, but he has already made up his mind about leaving and staying at the penthouse." 

"I will let the maids be informed about setting up his quarters here at the family house. For the meantime, let him know that I'm inviting him and the girl for dinner at the end of the week."

Harry smiled.

"Thank you sir, I will let him know about that."

Finally, Alexander is getting the recognition he deserved.

"Before that, I would like to hold an interview with him. Let him know about that too." Mr. Romano added. The main aim of the interview, was already made known to Harry that he couldn't wait to leave to tell Alexander all about it.

"Ofcourse, sir."

"You can leave now, it's late." The old man said and tried to stand up, but Harry went over to help him up before helping him to his bed.

"Have a goodnight rest, sir." Harry bowed to him, and tried to leave but stopped when he heard his name being called by him. He turned around to face him.

"If you find out that Dante or Nathan is the reason behind Alexander's accident, I would like for you to keep it to yourself. There's no good that will come out from everyone knowing about it." The old man ordered.

Harry didn't answer straight away, it was going to be really difficult lying to Alexander, but he understood what the old man was trying to do.

All the old man wanted was the whole family to be in unison, but even a blind man can see that what he wants isn't going to happen. 

Regardless, Harry had no option than to do as he requested, he finally left his room and loosened his tie while going for his car.

He was almost close to the garage, before someone stepped in front of him blocking his way.

Dante always does that whenever he wants to taunt or intimidate him, into spilling what he has spoken with his grandfather. But what he didn't know was that he wasn't scared of him, Nathan nor the Big boss ( Grandfather).

He was more scared of Alexander, because he was more twisted and ruthless than the other brothers. Ofcourse, no one knows about this, not including his father but just him.

He's the only reason why Alexander seems to be keeping his demons at bay, and of course including Selina. Selina had a big impact on his life, which was why he had no other option than to do what he did by asking Ariana to become someone else.

But this time around, it wasn't Dante nor Nathan that stopped him, it was Rocco, the youngest brother.

"E..excuse me, I'm sorry for stopping you like this." Rocco apologized, not knowing how to go about doing what he wanted to do.

"It's okay." Harry said.

Atleast, he was the only normal person in the family that didn't seem to talk bad about Alexander. Yet, that doesn't change that his brothers are Dante and Nathan and he will always do anything for them.

So, there's a high chance that they put him up to this.

"I heard my brothers.. talking about our eldest brother.. being in the hospital, I just wanted to ask if he's okay?" Rocco asked, rubbing his hands nervously.

Harry was looking at him as if he was trying to read him or something. He doesn't smile just like Alexander too.

"He's fine, that's all that i can tell you, if you don't mind, I need to leave." Harry said and without for him to say anything else, he entered his car and left the house but not without Rocco still looking at him departing.

He can't trust nobody, and neither can Alexander trust anyone either. It had always been him alone, despite having a family and so will it continue that way if he has to survive.
