The Journey of Akasha

The Plaza of the Academy was currently jammed packed with students. These were all the students that were at the Academy. The Academy had three different years of students. The first years are students who had yet to reach rebirth rank. It was about 10,000 first year students and most of these were students who were already at the Academy.

Though it seemed like a large amount it really wasn't. That's because the Academy offers strict restrictions. You must advance your Rank by certain ages. For example, the maximum time to reach Rebirth rank is 300 years. If you cannot reach that you will be expelled. 

The second years were even more numerous than the first group. It was about 50,000 students in this group. Second year students range from Rebirth rank to Mythical. They are given a maximum of 2,500 years to reach the peak of Mythical. 

Lastly were the third-year students. This was the smallest group actually there were only ten of them. The third-year students were all at the very Peak of the Mythical Rank. They are so few because of the sheer difficulty it is to reach this in just 2,500 years. Third years don't have any strict requirements to advance because most of the instructors were only at the next rank above that. 

It's also because of the difficulty it is to step beyond this point. The Mythical rank is the last rank of the 'First Realm of Power'. From Mythical to Transcendent rank is more than an increase in rank. Transcendent rank is a fundamental change of a person's entire being. So, these ten students are the real elites of the Academy.

When Akasha and the girls arrived, they were teleported at the front of the first years with the other top ten. Looking around the three were shocked. 

"S-since when did the Academy have so many students?" Raven asked as she was looking around. 

"Right, I thought we were the only first year students. This is a bit surreal." Elara said 

"Yea, this is really surprising. I guess we should take some time actually look around this place." Akasha said while thinking.

'I really have too much to do!'

As he was thinking he heard a voice. 

"Yo!" 

Turning around the group saw Jovian approaching them. 

The trio flashed small smiles and exchanged greetings with them before Jovian asked.

"Have you guys seen Lyria? I thought she would come in with you three."

Hearing this the smiles on the trio faces froze. 

"Shit!" Akasha exclaimed

"Pffft!" Raven burst out laughing 

"Haha, Akasha don't tell me you really forgot!" Elara said while laughing alongside Raven. 

"Uhhh, I'll be right back!" As he said this he disappeared and entered The Sanctuary. 

When he entered, he saw Luna, Elysia, and Lyria all laughing. They were watching the entire thing on the projection screen. Seeing this Akasha's lip twitched. He looked at Lyria and asked. 

"I thought you would've still been cultivating that inheritance." 

Hearing this Lyria got her laughter under control and spoke 

"Well, I intended to cultivate it, but when I was about to begin these two appeared in front of me." 

[Fufufu Dear~ Wouldn't it be better to let her evolve first before cultivating that?] Luna said while chuckling. 

"Eh? Shit, I have been forgetting too much recently. You're right, well, we will handle that later." As he said this, he left The Sanctuary with Lyria. When they left Elysia looked back to the screen with a smile and spoke. 

"Hehe, this is truly top tier TV." 

Back in the plaza Akasha and Lyria appeared in front of the group. When Raven and Elara saw her, they moved in to give her light hugs. 

"Hey guys." Lyria said while returning the hugs. 

From the side Jovian observed all of this. He didn't ask any questions about where she was, he only said. 

"Truly a mysterious guy." 

"Haha, don't worry you will join in soon." Akasha said while patting Jovian's shoulder.

The group continued to chat for some time before an old man appeared floating above the students. He had a long white beard that seemed to hand nearly to the ground. He also had long white hair that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight that was equally as long. 

The moment he appeared the plaza was enveloped in silence. 

The man then spoke. 

"Now that we are all gathered, I will first introduce myself. As many of you may already know, I am the Dean, Calisto Nite. This will be the first time in the Academy's history that we have gathered all of the students in one place. 

We took a long time and had many internal discussions before we came to a decision." He said before he took a deep breath before continuing. 

"Times are changing and this time we plan to capitalize. We will begin expanding the influence of Kalpa and make our own independent faction out in the wider universe! We have about 500 years before the Supreme Golden Age truly begins so now is the time for us to strengthen ourselves. 

This brings us to the main topic of this meeting. We will soon be departing on multiple expeditions around the Galaxy. We will travel to Low and Middle level planets and lay claim to all those we come across. This won't be any tyrant or rogue activity though.... there will be benefits to both sides. 

This will begin in a year. Start preparing now and do whatever you need to do. Even though we will be traveling to Lower-level planets that doesn't mean it will be easy. This is the world of cultivation anything is possible! And there will also be other factions who may also be trying to claim the planet for themselves too.

So, get ready."

As he finished with his speech he disappeared. He too had things to get in order because the Academy weren't the only factions in on this. All of Kalpa were focusing on expanding, this was a collective agreement by the Vosar family.

When the students heard this the Plaza immediately went into an uproar. Through all of this though Akasha and his group weren't bothered at all. They were excited instead. Akasha then looked at Liora who was floating in the sky. 

He used their connection and asked mentally. 

'Can we leave now?'

Hearing the sudden voice in her head Liora eye's shifted to Akasha and she spoke

'Yes, the rest of the meeting won't be important.'

'Alright, we will be in The Sanctuary. Come when you have some free time." Akasha said before turning back to his group. 

"Alright, we're good to go now." 

"Finally." Raven said as she already knew what he was implying. 

The other girls nodded while Jovian just looked confused. 

Seeing his face Akasha smiled and spoke 

"Don't worry my friend, you will understand soon."
