The Journey of Akasha

The northern continent was the continent most dungeons formed on. Dungeons in the world of Kalpa weren't what most would assume them to be. These weren't dungeons used by outside forces in order to infiltrate. No, these were naturally formed dungeons that could be used for training and a few other things. 

Most didn't know the reason behind these naturally forming Dungeons, but they still took advantage. On this continent you could find anyone looking for an opportunity. It was a known fact that only the best of the best could be accepted into The Academy of Kalpa. 

Those who failed the entrance exams were automatically admitted into the army. This because although they weren't enough to get into The Academy that didn't mean their potential was bad either. The army of Kalpa trained only geniuses even if they weren't the supreme geniuses. 

And all the other rankers on Kalpa? 

Well, that's how sects began to form. These rankers who weren't good enough to get Army training nor The Academy's began to make their own forces. They all abided by the rules of peace like all other races and factions. These forces only wanted to build a place that could offer more opportunity. 

Over time some of these sects were able to rise and stand as equals with the major races. Even though this was the case it still left several other small sects and rogue cultivators who strived for a chance. 

This brings us to current times. For those seeking opportunity then the Northern continent is the way to go. These dungeons offered a free grind for those in the Mortal Realms. They only had to fight and survive. 

The more they completed dungeons the more their strength would increase. This was a major opportunity because it's known information that all major forces have personal dungeons. These forces use these dungeons to rapidly train their young. 

Even though this didn't allow them to soar through the ranks it still offered a light through the dark. 

Currently in a dungeon in the Northern continent. It was a group of 4 people two girls and two men. To the casual eye it would seem like two couples entering a dungeon. But no, the two girls were best friends. 

Their names were Celeste and Amy. 

The two guys were their seniors from the sect they entered. They were all still in the Mortal Realms, and they entered this dungeon in hopes of getting closer to the Golden Core rank. When they reached the Golden Core rank, they would be able to get better resources from the sect. 

Inside the dungeon they were inside of a forest. The forest was quite calm and serene. This is because they group had just killed the monsters inside of the forest. These were the last monsters they needed to kill before they could leave. 

In dungeons like these it would normally take about 30 minutes before the monsters respawned and at that time the group would automatically be teleported out. These 30 minutes were usually used for cultivators to collect their loot and rest a bit. 

Covered in the blood of the monsters Celeste and Amy stood off to the side as they watch the two men take apart the monsters' bodies. These things could be sold to merchants or auctions for a few mana stones. 

Seeing the two men busy themselves Amy looked at Celeste and said

"Hey, we still have about 15 minutes before we're teleported out let's go freshen up." 

Hearing this Celeste pondered for a minute. She glanced at the two men and asked 

"Are you sure?" 

"Haha, come on we'll be finished before they're done." As Amy said this, she grabbed Celeste hand and dragged her along to a waterfall. The waterfall was deeper into the forest, and they passed by it before, so she still remembered its location. 

"Okay! I'm coming you don't have to pull me!" Celeste exclaimed as she went along with Amy.

When the two women left the two men grinned at each other. 

"John, it seems she really loves you huh?" One of the men asked the one named John. 

"Haha Paul, she couldn't resist the benefits. Although I am currently in a smaller sect, I am still the heir of a merchant's family." John said while laughing 

"To think she would even give you her best friend too is unbelievable though. I should've been some wealthy guy's son!" Paul complained half-jokingly. 

"Yes, Celeste she's special and I will make both of them my wives." John said with a big smile. 

After this the two sped up their work because John had some business to take care of.

Currently Amy and Celeste where both standing by the waterfall, but the vibe wasn't what one would expect. The two weren't bathing or even undressing themselves. The moment they got to the waterfall Amy turned and looked into Celeste's eyes with a grim look. 

"Celeste, you have to run!" Those were the first words Amy said to her. 

"W-what do you mean?" Celeste asked as she saw the look Amy was giving her.

"It's not enough time to explain the full story. Long story short John approached me and asked me to give you an aphrodisiac so he could have sex with you. You should know he has been lusting after the both of us since we entered the sect.

I was foolish enough to believe he was a good person, but after we had sex, he revealed his true intentions. He didn't necessarily harm me, but he told me his plans for you and threatened me to help him."

"Wait! You two had sex?!" Celeste exclaimed. She was shocked to know that her best friend could be so stupid! It was obvious that the guy had bad intentions with them. 

"Y-yes.... I don't know what happened that night, but enough of that you need to run!"

Hearing her best friend Celeste took a deep breath and then met her gaze. 

"We have about 4-5 minutes left before we are teleported out. I won't leave you behind with the two of them.... we will fight!" She said as a flash of determination flashed through her eyes.

"Are you crazy?! The are both S rank while we are only A rank, we are no match for them!" Amy basically yelled.

"We don't have to win. We only need to survive." Celeste said as she pulled out daggers. 

Hearing this Amy pulled herself together and pulled out a Bow and Arrow. 

They then heard some claps before two men revealed themselves walking towards them. 

*clap* *clap* 

"Haha, what beautiful little determination! I like them with a little fire." John said as he licked his lips while he finished clapping. Next to him was Paul who also had a look of lust in his eyes. He smiled and spoke

"Heh, John since you've already used Amy you wouldn't mind giving her to me for a few rounds, right? 

"Haha sure why not. She's pretty good and she sucks a good cock!" John said while laughing

Hearing the disgusting words Amy body shivered a bit before she collected herself. She gritted her teeth and gripped her bow tighter. 

"I was truly foolish!"

Celeste was still calm. She was internally calculating how much time she had left. 

'We should have about 3 minutes left. With my shadow affinity and Amy's wind affinity we should have a decent chance.'

Thinking this she tightened the grip on her daggers and spoke 

"Amy gets ready." 

Immediately after those words she activated an ability
