The Journey of Akasha

Chapter 56: Primordial Battlefield

As Akasha and Jovian headed over to the women Akasha asked a question.

"So, what are your goals for this mission?"

"Eh?" Jovian was taken off guard by such a weird question. It should be common knowledge what they all wanted. After looking at the man for a few seconds Jovian responded.

"Well, to increase my strength and I want to see what these other geniuses are like. I heard from my teacher that this secret realm should have something called 'Rule Stones'. With these stones we can better understand the rules and increase our law comprehension." He spoke

"Rule stones, huh? This is my first time hearing of such a thing. Well, we will just have to collect all the rule stones then, right?" Akasha said to Jovian as they made it to the ladies.

"Hello ladies I'm back." He said to them with a smile.

Jovian though stopped in his tracks. He was thinking in his head trying to understand Akasha.

'H-he's trolling right? I can't tell if he's the type of character to die due to arrogance or if he's just.... different.' As he thought this, he decided to keep an eye on Akasha during this trip. He then joined the rest of the group.

"I see you brought our group member back too." Raven said looking at Jovian as she clung to the arm of Akasha.

"Haha he's a pretty interesting guy. He told me about something called 'Rule stones'. Apparently, they can help increase your law comprehension." Akasha said while patting Raven's head.

"Hehe, then we need to collect all of them then, right?" Elara said while giggling as she moved in to hug Akasha too.

Hearing the conversation from the side Lyria and Jovian both were looking at the trio like they were crazy.

"What the hell is going on?" Jovian blurted out as he couldn't understand this. He for one couldn't wait to experience this secret realm. But these three?

They were talking as if they already owned everything.

"Pffft." Lyria from the side burst out laughing when she heard Jovian.

'Finally, someone who understands!'

"Alright everyone prepare yourselves! We will be arriving shortly!" Jax voice resounded.

When the group heard this, they finally noticed the change in the surroundings. They were still in space but all around they saw similar war ships to theirs. These warships all had crests that signified race and faction.

Seeing this Akasha remembered some of the information he gotten out of the Akashic Library.

'Even though the major races all control their own planets, they still have their sub-factions or branch families.'

The other students had much different reactions from Akasha and his women. Kael for one was struggling to understand something in particular.

"D-dragons! How are their other Dragons!!!" He exclaimed. He the son of the Dragon King couldn't understand while he was seeing so many other Dragon families he never even heard of before. And he wasn't the only one the other students all had similar reactions.

Although they knew about other planets, they always thought they were some 'Aliens'. To know that there were others of the same race of them was a real shocker. There was one student aside from Akasha's group who didn't express the same shock. In fact, he was grinning.

This person was Krax Alale. He was grinning looking at all the other ships and especially at his new screen notification.

*Ding*

[New Task - Make your first connections. - During this secret realm find an ally outside of Kalpa who could help with your plans. | Reward - ????]

'Haha let the games begin....' Krax thought looking at the scenery.

Sadly, for him this oddity didn't escape the eyes of Akasha. In fact, Akasha could even see the guy's system screen. Seeing this Akasha smiled even more thinking of the beautiful future.

"Haha, I will let this guy do his thing for now. I want to see how strong he could be come with a system like that.' As he thought this, he turned his head to look into the distance.

In front of all the massive warships was a shimmering gate. The gate was a dark purple that looked to be made of ancient materials. The gate was standing tall in the middle of space as if it was anchored here. The gate pulsed with energy as if it felt the approaching people.

Above the gate were the words 'Primordial Battlefield'.

As the ships finally made a stop right in front of the Gate the geniuses from all across the Galaxy begin to exit. Before the students from Kalpa could leave Riona spoke one last time.

"This secret realm will be different from what most of you are expecting. There will be no trials that you all will have to move through and then slowly get eliminated. From what we've gathered this will be 6 months full of life and death battles for you guys. There will be plenty inheritances left, but you must rely on your own strength.

Prioritize your safety above all things else!" As she said this the students all nodded and then made their way towards the gate. Separated into two groups they all looked at each other one last time before entering. Lucas seeing his younger sister stepped forward.

"Raven be careful! I will come to find you as soon as I'm inside."

"Tsk, whatever" Raven responded

As the two said this they all stepped into the gate like the others did.

On there other side of the gate the ten of them all reappeared together. A bit ironic knowing that Lucas wanted to rush to Raven's side anyway. Looking around they seemed to be in some sort of forest. This forest was far from normal though. The grass and leaves were all purple and seemed to be releasing some sort of energy into the air.

Noticing this Akasha appraised the energy.

[Primordial Mana - This mana is energy from the ancient times. 10 times purer than ordinary mana.]

'Interesting.' He thought before turning towards his group.

"Alright, let's not waste time. We will just pick a direction and go from there."

When he said this Lyria, Raven, Elara and Jovian all started moving towards Akasha. When the others saw this they too began to make their moves.

Except for Lucas.

"Wait! Raven you will come with my group, that way I will be able to protect you!"

Hearing this Raven was about to lose her shits until Akasha spoke up this time his voice was a bit cold.

"Lucas. If not for being her brother, you will already be dead. Who gave you the right to order my woman? Who gives a fuck if you're her older brother, she doesn't need your protection." As he said this everyone became silent. Lucas was looking as if he had just seen a ghost, but before he could speak Akasha spoke again before leaving with his group.

"Just save it and heed my warning. I don't want to have my little vampire sad because her brother got turned into... nothing."

As they walked away Lucas and his group could only watch their backs. Kael seeing this spoke out.

"Tsk who cares about them. We need to be moving out also. I have no time to be waiting because you feel like babysitting."

The group agreed as this time Kael finally sounded like he had a brain.
