Chapter 11 – Sia
The fairy of procreation…
Sia had spent that entire day thinking about it. It was probably nothing, and Gray just opened the book to see pictures of nude women, but with the sudden changes in Gray and the way Lady Andria was treating him, Sia couldn’t push away the thought of something going behind her back.
And why should I care? It’s Gray’s job.
But the more she thought, the more she started biting her nails and starting to hate the fact that Gray didn’t tell anything to her. She had spoken about everything to him, and even though some of his solutions to her problems weren’t the smartest ones, he was a good listener. And why couldn’t he do the same?
“Sia!”
She snapped back to attention.
She looked around. She was in the bath, and Andria was waiting for her in the hot tub.
“Bring the water girl!” The noblewoman snapped.
Sia gave a quick bow, grabbed the pitcher, and walked to the bath. As the noblewoman stretched herself Sia slowly let the hot water trickle down.
“Put that away and rub my shoulders,” Andria ordered.
“Yes, Lady Andria.”
Her mother had taught her all about what the noblewoman needed. How to set the warmness in the water to the right degree, when and what lotions to use, where to massage her when she called for it, and within two weeks Sia had gotten the hang of it. Ever since then, Andria had her as her bath servant.
As Sia rubbed her shoulders the noblewoman kept speaking. “You are not in your right mind today. Snap back to attention.”
“I-I’m sorry, my lady.”
“Did that Gray boy tell anything to you?”
The question came out of nowhere and Sia stopped rubbing her shoulders to stare at her silently. Andria opened her eyes and glared at her. “Speak!”
“N-No, my lady. Gray has told nothing to me.”
“Good.”
She closed her eyes again.
Sia went back to massaging her shoulders. She should have kept shut. If she did, nothing would have happened, but her curiosity killed her. “Is something wrong with Gray, my lady?”
“Why do you ask?”
“He hasn’t been himself recently, and I am a bit worried.”
“What are you? His mother?” Andria chuckled, but then opened her eyes and gave Sia a hard stare. “Wait, are the two of you lovers?”
Sia felt the heat rise in her cheeks. “NO…” Then realizing she spoke too loud she said meekly. “My lady.”
Andria’s eyes twinkled, and her lips curved into a smile. “Take off your clothes.”
“W-What?”
“I’m getting tired of having to repeat myself. Strip your clothes girl! Everything.”
Sia was once advised by her mother to politely refuse any weird requests asked by Lady Andria, but looking at the noblewoman’s eyes, Sia found she couldn’t. So she moved to her cloth belt, then her frock, and her blouse, until she stood in her chemise.
“Take that off too,” Andria muttered.
“My lady, I-”
Andria grunted, then lifted herself half out of the bath and pulled Sia’s chemise down. The little strap on her shoulder tore off quickly, and the entire fabric fell down to the wet ground.
Sia felt her eyes starting to tear up, but she gritted her teeth and looked at the noblewoman.
You want to see me naked? Fine then…she bared all of it. And when the noblewoman scrutinized her from top to bottom she looked straight into her eyes.
“Huh, pretty average body for a girl,” Andria muttered. She groped her breast. “Not the size of your mother, not enough to satisfy anyone.”
“What?”
She raised herself from the bath, showing off her large breasts, light nipples, and thick thighs. “That boy Gray, he prefers girls with better bodies than you Sia. Wipe me.”
Sia didn’t understand a word she said. How could her nudity and Gray’s actions be related at all?
She grabbed the towel and started to wipe the woman from bottom to top. As she scaled up her legs and started to wipe off her rather fleshy buttocks, the noblewoman spoke again. “Gray doesn’t see any worth in you. Boys of his age only want one thing, and that’s only what they are focused on. If you are having any dreams with that boy it’s better to let it all go.”
Sia felt the urge to slap her in the face. “That’s wrong!” she snapped, drawing the towel away. “Gray is…he is…”
Andria grabbed the towel from her. “Come visit me tomorrow after breakfast,” and then she turned in a flash and grabbed Sia by her cheeks. “And if you mention even a single word about this I’ll make both your mother and Gray suffer the worst.”
She pushed her back. “Go to my room and bring back my red dress and chemise.”
“I’ll need to wear something my lady-”
“Go naked,” she took her arm back and slapped her ass. “I might as well find someone to humiliate back. Go!”

After the incident at the bath, Sia had been shivering all evening wondering what other sort of requests the lady would have for him. Luckily Andria’s attention drifted off when a messenger announced her husband’s arrival, and Sia’s mother was too busy to pay attention when she came back only wearing her maid costume without a chemise inside.
She was even glad when her mother ran her off on an errand to grab the groceries. She needed to get away from that house and breathe some fresh air. But as soon as she was a few feet away thoughts about Gray invaded her mind again.
Something is going on between Gray and Andria…
Her thoughts made the trip to the grocery store take twice as long, and when she came back she got scolded by her mother for taking too long.
“Lord Julius is in a bad mood,” she snapped. “You being late was adding fuel to the fire.”
I just wish this was all over…
She had rarely gotten that feeling back in the day, but now it started to claw up to her more and more. A part of her wanted to throw it all off and run away. The only thing that stopped her was her mother and Gray. If only that idiot agreed to get out of this mess then she could at least find a better way to convince her mother.
Her thoughts didn’t make her sleep that night, and she almost shuddered when the door opened. She turned to see Gray sneaking in and getting into bed like a thief.
What’s going on with him…
She planned to ask about everything in the morning, but as always, mornings were the busiest times. Julius ate like a bull, and both women had too many tasks in their hands. The water needed to be boiled, Sia had to run an errand for the bakery for the bread, the cows needed to be milked, the plates needed to be arranged and the entire table needed to be cleaned.
That’s when Gray asked the strangest question. “Have you two imagined what life would be like outside the house?”
For a moment Sia just stared at him. There was a little glint in his eyes, almost like a little boy about to reveal his toy.
Her mother muttered something.
“Well there’s no point daydreaming,” Sia glared at Gray. “Like a certain someone, it’s always best to look at life pessimistically.”
“Oh look at smart little Sia,” Gray made a face.
“Smarter than you definitely,” Sia snapped. She didn’t know why she got so angry. But when she looked at his face, he saw the secrets hiding inside those eyes. The eyes looked so innocent two days ago.
I just need to calm down, She focused back on the soup, but when her eyes drifted up again she saw Gray staring at her mother. She looked back to see Lyla on her chemise, bending down while the cloth stuck to her back and showed everything a man needed to imagine.
That boy Gray, he prefers girls with better bodies than you Sia…
Those were Andria’s exact words. And Sia wasn’t dumb. Her mother had a good body to seduce any man. She had heard the whistles and mutterings when she used to go to the market with her mother. Lyla being in her early thirties didn’t help it either. The only reason she stood without being groped by a stranger was the name of the Julius household. Nobody wanted to mess with the servants of a noble family.
“Hey!” Sia snapped and walked towards him. “That’s my mother Gray!”
And there it was. The same guilty eyes he had given to her at the library. It was then Sia finally felt that something was wrong. She needed to know what it was. And she didn’t care if it turned the entire house upside down she was going to find out about it.
She decided to go meet Andria.
