NOVEL WEB Chapter 8: A DEAL IT IS
The next day
"Morning mom", I said as I came down for breakfast.
"Morning cupcake",she replied with a smile.
"Eh... Mom , today my classmate will be coming for the project again",I said.
"Oh that's great cupcake , I'll make some snacks before I leave for you guys."she suggested.
"All right mom, I think I should be going now",I said getting up.
"All right take care at school".
As I left I kept thinking about how I'm going to face ocean eyes after yesterday.
As I arrived ,I met May. We seem to be getting really close friends,even though she has other friends . I usually don't like to be in crowded or noisy areas, so I'm usually alone.
I entered class and "ocean eyes" was already there. He smiled at me ,as if teasing me and it really annoyed me. So I decided to ignore him.
As I took my seat , Michael ,the guy I always wanted to beat in class walked up to me .
"Hello!, Sauna", he said proudly and coolly ,but my ocean eyes was far cooler than him.
"Hi, Michael", I replied expressionlessly.
"How is your project going", he asked.
"Fine, it's going smoothly",I replied.
"But I'm not letting you win this time".
"Oh, yeah?" ,He asked.
"Yeah", I replied back.
"Then lets make a deal",he says smiling.
"What's the deal",I asked.
"If I win this project, you'll have to ...Kiss me...",he says with a smile.
"I'll have to WHAT!!",I almost shouted.
"Why are you scared to lose", he asked still smiling.
"No ,but I can't do that, it impossible",I said, a little scared and shocked .
"Fine ,if you wouldn't make the deal, it means I'm the best in this class,no argument."
"What! Your kidding right, let's see who will win this project first before we make this decision".I said
"No, whoever wins, I'm still the best".He replied stubbornly
"It's a deal, but get this straight, if I win I'll be the best in this class and, you will have to ..Kiss my feet ."I said with a little smile.
"It's a deal then, see you after I win".He says as he walks away.
Before I could reply, someone pulled me away.
"What are you doing?",he asked me, a little angry.
"What do you mean?",I answered with a smile.
"Why did you make such a stupid bet?,"he asked.
"Come on, because I'm going to win, and bring him to his knees",I replied, a little angry at that Michael.
"What if you lose, have you thought about that",.
"Of cause, how couldn't I. I wouldn't lose. He didn't say where I should kiss him , I can't give my first kiss to him . Also I have you to help me",I explained.
"Are you sure?",he asked still hesitant.
"Yeah, and also why do you care who I kiss or wait, do you like me or something.",I asked s little surprised.
"No, I don't ,who will like you",he replied as he turned his face away.
I angrily walked away. I really like him but, as i get to talk to him, I fine him more annoying than cool. But still so handsome that I can't just hate him.
