The Hidden Evil: Villainous Cultivator

Chapter 17: Su Meng's Revenge

Ye Feng was thinking about the things that happened today, he knew that this matter was far from over ," And here i thought killing someone will be the most hard thing for an assassin , i think it should be finding a hold in the society".

With all other thoughts in his mind he completed his Lunch and then returned to class .

Soon the classes were over Ye Feng walked outside the school gate.

Ye Feng stood alone, hands in his pockets, his expression as calm as ever. The air around him was thick with the promise of violence, the faintest tension hanging in the air like a taut wire ready to snap.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps reached his ears, followed by a voice that made his shoulders tense for just a moment. "You think you've won, Ye Feng?" Su Meng's voice was full of barely-contained rage.

Ye Feng didn't turn, but his eyes narrowed slightly. In front of him, Su Meng appeared with a dozen of his thugs flanking him, their eyes gleaming with malice. Ye Feng's gaze flicked lazily to Su Meng and then to the group, his expression unreadable. "Revenge is a fool's errand," he said quietly. "But if you insist..."

Su Meng's lips curled into a sneer, his hands tightening into fists. "You humiliated me, and now, I'll make you regret it."

Ye Feng raised an eyebrow. "Humiliation?" He almost chuckled. "I don't fight for pride. I fight to win."

Su Meng clenched his teeth, his patience breaking. "Let's see how well you fight when you're outnumbered."

Without another word, Su Meng gestured to his thugs, and they began closing in. But instead of attacking right away, Su Meng stepped forward with a smug grin. "Come on, follow me," he said, motioning for Ye Feng to walk with him. "I want to make sure you feel every bit of this."

Ye Feng, sensing the setup, didn't move immediately but allowed Su Meng to lead the way. He knew they were headed for a secluded alley far from the prying eyes of the school. But for him, it didn't matter where they fought. It only mattered how they fought.

As they reached the entrance of the narrow alley, Su Meng's thugs blocked both ends, cutting off all escape routes. The alley was dimly lit, the scent of wet concrete and old garbage mixing with the sharp tang of impending violence.

Su Meng turned to face Ye Feng, his grin wide and sinister. "This is where you'll pay for what you did, remember to keep you distance from Bai Shuang in future."

"Oh , so that's how it is" Ye Feng muttered.

Ye Feng's gaze remained steady, his posture relaxed as always. "You think you can trap me here?" he asked with a soft chuckle. "This is where you made your first mistake."

The thugs surged forward, rushing him from all sides. Ye Feng didn't flinch. His body moved like liquid as he danced through the chaos.

One thug swung a crowbar at his head, but Ye Feng sidestepped with ease, grabbing the thug's wrist and twisting it. There was a sickening crack as the bone shattered, and the crowbar dropped to the ground. The thug collapsed, clutching his ruined arm.

Another thug came at him with a wrench, swinging it in a wide arc. Ye Feng caught the thug's wrist mid-swing, his elbow snapping with a violent twist. The wrench hit the ground as the thug fell to his knees, gasping in pain.

Su Meng's face twisted in anger as he watched his thugs fall one by one, the fight turning against him. "Don't just stand there!" he yelled, his voice cracking. "Get him!"

Ye Feng's eyes flickered to Su Meng for just a moment, his expression colder than ever. "Revenge is a fool's game," he repeated, almost as if speaking to himself. Then he turned back to the remaining thugs.

The thugs hesitated, fear creeping into their eyes as they realized how outclassed they were. But they were committed now. They lunged again, one after another, and Ye Feng responded with deadly grace.

A thug with a knife lunged toward him, aiming for his ribs. Ye Feng ducked, his movements faster than the eye could follow. He grabbed the thug's arm, bending it backward in an impossible angle with a sharp snap. The thug screamed in agony, dropping to the ground as Ye Feng swiftly dispatched him with a precise kick to the ribs.

"Slow," Ye Feng muttered as another thug tried to charge him from the side. Ye Feng sidestepped, and with a quick jab to the man's knee, there was a sickening pop. The thug collapsed with a howl, clutching his leg.

Su Meng's rage only grew as his men fell like flies. His fists clenched tightly, and he rushed at Ye Feng with a knife drawn, slashing wildly at his chest. "This is for my pride!" he screamed, his voice filled with desperation.

Ye Feng's eyes flickered to Su Meng, and in the blink of an eye, he had seized the boy's wrist mid-swing. With one fluid motion, Ye Feng twisted, and Su Meng's arm snapped like a twig, the crack loud in the silent alley. The knife fell from his hand and clattered to the ground.

Su Meng's face twisted in pain, his knees buckling as he dropped to the pavement. He gasped for Ye Feng stood over him, his gaze as cold as steel. "This isn't about what I can or can't do. It's about what you understand." He stepped forward, eyes narrowing. "You came here for revenge. But you don't understand how to fight for it."

Su Meng's remaining thugs, seeing the brutal efficiency of Ye Feng's movements, began to back off. One attempted to grab him from behind, but Ye Feng was faster. He ducked, spinning around to grab the thug by the neck and slam his face into the concrete. The thug went limp instantly, his body falling to the ground in a heap.

Another thug lunged at Ye Feng with a chain, but Ye Feng grabbed his arm and twisted it with inhuman force. There was another crack as the thug's elbow broke, and the chain fell from his grasp as he screamed in agony.
