At this moment, Shen Lian finally took action. He had waited a long, long time for this chance. If he had acted earlier, he could have saved Huangdi, Yedi, and the others, but that would have only granted them temporary survival. The catastrophe would still have come. Their deaths were destined, necessary even, to break through death and achieve true rebirth. Nirvana was the only path forward.

To escape the cycle, one must have the courage to embrace death.

As for their passing—Shen Lian, standing at the peak of detachment, was beyond even the Sacrificial Dao Realm. If the Sacrificial Dao can reflect a great world and revive those once lost, then Shen Lian, transcending all known boundaries, can do far more. As long as a trace of their thoughts remains in the world, as long as someone remembers them among the heavens, Shen Lian can bring them back.

He raised his hand, instantly traversing boundaries.

"Hold on. I'm here," Shen Lian whispered in his heart.

Divine Ruins Era, Primordial Chaos Sea—

Huangdi and Yedi, their colossal bodies stood firm above the vast ocean of chaos. Even as the marks of their Great Dao crumbled into ashes and their forms scattered into rain-like light, their postures never bowed. Not a single curve in their spines. Not a hint of defeat.

"Huangdi!"

"Yedi!"

From across the countless starfields, creatures cried out. Children clung to their mothers, burying their faces in sobs. Mothers tried to soothe them with trembling hands, tears in their eyes. The elderly wept silently, and genius cultivators across the realms stared at the sky, smiling bitterly.

Buried—everything buried.

Not for immortality, but for the one who waited in the red dust, the ruthless empress; for the Great Emperor of Wu Shi who turned his back on the world to shield a pure land; for the Willow God, elegant and eternal—buried. Now even the emperors who defended billions of stars, Emperor Huang and Emperor Ye, were buried in this battle.

That day, all realms mourned. Sadness choked the skies.

Amid the mist, in the light rain over the Chaos Sea, the lives of Emperor Ye and Huang formed radiant visions—like echoes of the Great Dao commemorating their fall. Time reversed.

A youth walked out of the wilderness. Through highs and lows, darkness and light, he remained proud and unyielding.

"A man walks wherever he wills. Where he dies, that is his home. The world stands like green mountains."

"The enemies I've defeated have never been my equals. I gave them time to catch up, yet they fell behind and vanished."

The voice of young Huangdi, echoing from history, stirred emotions. He survived countless wars, faced darkness and splendor, and finally declared:

"Who claims invincibility? Who dares say no? No one in this world dares claim supremacy!"

He slew all challengers. Never once defeated.

Then Ye Di's life replayed. As a youth, he sought only peace, but was swept into the starry path. His dream—to return home and see his parents—died when they were no more. Desolate and broken, he left his past behind, returned to Northern Dipper, faced forbidden zones and terrifying foes.

"I have a great wish: to purge darkness and end bloodshed forever."

He lived through nine lifetimes, ventured into terrifying worlds, battled ominous sources, and with each hardship, matured. In time, Blood Qi revived, and he roared back to supremacy:

"I am the Heavenly Emperor! I will slay every enemy under the sky!"

His voice pierced history, resonating across heaven and earth. People wept again.

They wanted to keep those mighty figures—swords gleaming, cauldrons roaring, lighting eternity—but the sword was broken, the cauldron shattered, and the emperors' blood had run dry. In fading light, their last silhouettes vanished. They would never be seen again.

"Let's go," someone whispered.

On a distant battlefield, Chu Feng, once hailed as a war reporter, lay in his own blood, exhausted from battle. Though he slew many unknown horrors, he lacked the cultivation to change the outcome.

A Pollen Queen lifted him gently.

"Let me look one last time... please..." he muttered, his blood-soaked hand gripping her white robe. His face, smeared with blood and tears, was etched with grief and stubborn sorrow.

She said nothing, her eyes soft.

Chu Feng looked skyward. Time warped. The figures of Ye Di and Huangdi, recreated by the Great Dao, flickered. He sobbed hoarsely.

"I'm sorry... I'm too weak... I couldn't help you..."

His voice scraped like metal.

"Don't blame yourself," the Pollen Queen whispered. "They fought for us, for the future."

She wiped his bloodied face and tried to leave.

Then—

Boom!

The world trembled.

A speck of white light emerged from the boundless horizon.

That light grew, bursting through time and space, crossing countless eons and realms.

Boom boom boom!!!

At first, it was like a pebble in water. In the next instant, it roared like a billion heavenly thunders crashing together, shaking all of existence.

"What is that?!"

The ten ancestors, suddenly gripped by a dread they'd never felt, looked up.

And their faces twisted in horror.

An arm.

A gigantic white hand, stretching from sky to underworld, covering billions of universes—indescribable in scale, limitless in power!
