Chapter 17: Come on, take off your clothes_2
As the class bell rang, Luo En sat on the chair, striking a rather casual pose:
"This class, we're having art lessons."
No sooner had he spoken than Nero excitedly lunged forward:
"Great, let me help you take off your clothes first!"
As the toga draped over his body was pulled to his waist, Luo En came to a realization:
"You want me to be a nude model?"
"Yes, discarding the excess and returning to nature is the most beautiful art!"
Nero nodded in agreement, continuing to tug down the toga, while comforting him,
"Teacher, don't be shy. I promise to capture your most beautiful side on the drawing."
Seeing his clothes nearly pulled below his waist, anger welled up in Luo En, and with fury he grabbed a book from the table and delivered a series of strikes to the wild head in front of him:
"A nude model, huh? Art, is it? Dare to strip my clothes in public, you rebel!"
Nero shielded his head in defense, still protesting in grievance:
"I'm the future Emperor of Rome. Didn't you say everything in the Empire is under my control?"
"Arguing with me about this? Seems I haven't assigned enough homework!"
Luo En rolled the book into a tube and continued to smack the mischievous pupil's arms, head, and backside.
The hits were not only varied with swordsmanship techniques but also infused with traces of divine power.
Nero shrieked and dashed around like a frightened mouse, completely losing any semblance of imperial dignity and divine son majesty.
The Three Sons of Destiny observed everything, compiling a clear food chain of the Roman Empire in their minds.
Nobles can bully commoners;
Emperors can bully nobles;
The gods can bully the Emperor;
And teachers, anyone can bully them...
The three little guys looked at each other, expressions solemn:
"So, when we grow up, we should become teachers!"

In merely three days, several major events occurred in Rome:
First, Emperor Claudius I, citing his old age and frailty, requested resignation from the Pantheon, nominating the divine son Nero Claudius as his successor. The Pantheon agreed to his request, announcing the coronation ceremony would be held in four days;
Second, the High Priestess Cassandra of the Wine God Temple prepared to revise the [Holy Verses], recruiting knowledgeable priests from various temples;
Third, Caesar, acting as an agent of the Julius family, entered the Elder Council and submitted a reform proposal to the Pantheon;
Fourth, the Divine Blood Guard was disbanded and reorganized, with the new commander named "Alexander," reportedly a Macedonian prince exiled from Greece;
Fifth, the previous Chief Justice was dismissed, succeeded by a demigod named "Astraea";
Sixth, a renowned philosopher from the Academy of Athens, Aristotle, a protégé of Plato, recently arrived in Rome with his students and, under the arrangement of the Pantheon, formally established an educational institution named Lyceum Academy...
Faced with frequent personnel changes, even the dullest of ordinary people could sense a restless atmosphere in the air.
Coupled with various rumors, undercurrents surged throughout Rome.
And as the initiator of it all, Luo En was currently sitting in his mountain-top private residence, persistently giving lessons to Nero and the Three Sons of Destiny.

Four days passed in an instant.
The coronation ceremony arrived as scheduled, the entire city plunged into a sea of celebration.
As the sun just emerged, Romans in the city began gathering towards Palatine Hill located in the center of the Seven Hills, ascending the marble steps with almost a posture of pilgrimage.
Before the coronation ceremony officially began, the vantage points opened from the mountain's base to the top were already packed with men and women of all ages who came to watch the ceremony.
Starting today, the Empire will welcome a new ruler, and Rome will take a different step forward.
In full view of everyone, the side doors of the Pantheon were pushed open, and two teams of priests and clerics in white robes, bearing offerings, entered the scene. As per custom, they lit the Sacred Flame, knelt down, chanted invocations, and jointly sacrificed to the Pantheon of Gods.
The bustling Palatine Hill turned solemn, many Romans' faces glowing with intense pride and belonging, mouths praying, showing great reverence toward the gods.
After the ceremony, as the High Priestess, Cassandra carefully picked up a gemstone-encrusted golden goblet from a tray covered with red silk, piled with petals and fruits. Raising her hand, she poured the overflowing wine onto the ground, chanting with the other priests in unison:
"To the king we revere,
May all honor Your holy name.
May Your graces manifest,
May Your will be done on earth,
As it is in heaven.
Grant us today our daily bread.
Feast us with joyful wine today;
Lead us not into worldly temptation,
Deliver them from evil.
May glorious Aglaea, joyous Euphrosyne, bountiful Thalia, walk with You;
God's wisdom, power, love, be with You;
Kingdom, authority, glory, are all Yours.
—From time immemorial, to now, and forever more!"
As the divine words and wine fell, ripples of visible golden light waves spread outward, the ether particles in the air coalescing under the waves into warm golden lights, gently falling.
Once the golden lights were absorbed into their bodies, the people granted the blessing felt the fatigue of yesterday vanish, and the hunger in their bellies dissipate.
The withered plants touched by these golden lights also began to turn green, branches and leaves growing wildly, blooming and bearing fruit rapidly, exuding a rich fragrance.
The peaceful, tranquil, and joyous atmosphere, centered on the Pantheon and the palace on Palatine Hill, spread in all directions.
