The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 16: The "Filial Son's" Sword in Hand, The "Loving Mother" Struck

"Really?"

Luo En blinked, feigning ignorance.

Astraea was unmoved and sneered:

"Stop pretending! Why don't you just admit it, did you guys coordinate this in advance?"

"Heaven forbid! I wouldn't bother conspiring with that woman!"

"Then how did you know she left the moment she did?"

"Of course, because I set up surveillance beforehand."

As Luo En spoke, he slightly raised his hand, revealing a silver-white metal sphere floating in his palm.

As the bladed shell opened, the ruby core inside was exposed, flickering with a unique rhythm and projecting images of various regions of Rome in front of them.

"Isn't this a trinket researched by the Bronze Clan?"

Astraea prodded the magic guide tool in front of her and suddenly realized,

"Oh, you spread these things in advance at the prison's entrance and that woman's house to monitor their every move, right?"

"What else? The woman you slapped in the street is the current Queen of Rome. To help you settle things peacefully, I had to be extra cautious."

Hearing the complaint in his words, Astraea couldn't help but scratch her head sheepishly:

"Sorry, I misunderstood you."

"Glad you realize it!"

"But I still feel like you're hiding something from me."

"That's just your imagination, don't be so paranoid."

Though he dismissed her suspicion confidently, Luo En couldn't help but admire Astraea's nearly instinctive insight.

Expending so much effort to stage this act couldn't be just to coax the hot-blooded fool onto his side; using it as leverage to shift the landscape of Rome was his true aim.

Seeing Astraea about to speak again, Luo En immediately raised a finger towards the wall:

"Someone's there!"

Simultaneously, a noticeable wave of magic power rippled through the night.

Astraea immediately stood up in anger, cracking her knuckles and shouted:

"Alright, you've come so quickly. Watch me beat you corrupt scoundrels to a pulp tonight!"

No sooner had she spoken than she transformed into a golden streak of light, rushing toward the source of the sound.

"We've been discovered, run!" a childish voice echoed in the dark.

Floating Latin text formed a triangular glowing door in midair, attempting to open a spatial passage.

Trying to escape?

Astraea sneered, turning the Golden Scales on her sword hilt, solemnly pondering:

"At this moment, the court is in session!"

In an instant, countless starlights fell, forming a solemn and dignified star court that severed the spatial connection inside and out.

After a series of crackles, Astraea ushered four small figures, less than four feet tall, with muddy faces, into the courtyard.

Luo En leisurely sipping floral tea, inquired with mock annoyance:

"So tell me, what are you doing here?"

"We just missed you, teacher!"

Leading the group, Nero blinked innocently.

In contrast, the Three Sons of Destiny behind her were much more earnest.

"You've been out for so long and haven't returned..."

"We were worried..."

"So we secretly followed you to check..."

But the glances they exchanged revealed that their testimony wasn't entirely genuine.

Luo En stood up and knocked on each of their little heads:

"Came to see me? More like see if there's anything fun here, right? Always thinking about mischief outside, never learning anything good!"

When their thoughts were exposed, the little ones clutched their heads, pleading for mercy.

Luo En wasn't genuinely angry and after a small admonishment, continued:

"But since you're here..."

"?"

As the four little ones questioned, a heavy, thunderous footstep resonated from the distant street, quickly surrounding the entire courtyard.

"Listen up inside, you're suspected of conspiring to harm the queen. Lay down your weapons and come out of the courtyard immediately. Any resistance will be met with lethal force!"

Instructed by little Agrippina, a Divine Blood Guard called out towards the courtyard.

It's happening!

Luo En stretched lazily, turning to look at Alexander behind him, asking with interest:

"Two Roman centuria, all Divine Blood Guards, can you and your men hold them off?"

"Fifteen minutes!"

Alexander glanced at the roughly twenty men behind him, proudly declared,

"I only need fifteen minutes to defeat them head-on and bring you victory!"

Even with a tenfold disadvantage in numbers, those pampered soldiers couldn't possibly stand a chance against the battle-hardened veterans behind him.

Divine Blood? Who doesn't have it!

Meanwhile, outside the courtyard, as little Agrippina received no response, an excited yet cruel cold light glinted in her eyes, and she immediately ordered:

"Release arrows, shoot all those bastards dead!"

The accompanying archers immediately drew their bows and fired three volleys of arrows in succession.

However, when the arrows fell into the courtyard, they vanished without a trace like stones sinking into the sea.

Two centurions frowned, drew their longswords, and ordered:

"Go in and check it out!"

Dozens of Roman Divine Blood Guards raised their spears and shields, drawing their swords, and charged into the courtyard with their respective captains as the spearhead.

As the enemies entered, Alexander couldn't contain his excitement, leaping onto a chariot driven by two Flying Hoof Thunder Bulls, drawing his sword, and commanded:

"Comrades, protect the prince!"

The chariot representing conquest and ravage rumbled over the ground, arcs of purple-red lightning shooting out like long spears, knocking down rows of the invading Divine Blood Guards.

The more than twenty Macedonian warriors in the courtyard brandished their swords and shields, grinning fiercely as they followed behind Alexander's chariot, further fracturing the confused enemies.
