The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 130 Tribute to the Celtic Legend, King of Green Hats

The crowd, upon hearing these words, looked expectantly at the dazzling figure on the field.

His face was exquisite with an approachable gentleness, and wisdom's unique iridescent patterns rippled in his emerald eyes. He wore light armor forged of Spirit Silver etched with wave patterns, the chestplate inset with a Trident emblem carved from a Sea Blue Gemstone, proclaiming his God of the Sea bloodline. His shoulder plates were shaped like frozen wave crests, and the Cyan Blue Cloak draped at his waist surged with his movements, its edges adorned with Magic Power Crystals like fragments of the aurora. The iconic Magic Spear, "Undefeated Purple Grass," was as transparent as ice, and when its trident-like tip split, it refracted iridescent light, while the Spell Chain wound around the spear shaft sealed the Power of the Deep Sea. The overall design, in cool tones, wove silver and blue halos, concealing the grandeur of mythology, resembling an eternally youthful Hero and a monarch commanding the waves.

—Finn MacCool, Great Commander of the Fiona Knights, Ireland's most powerful Divine Blood Hero.

He was of noble birth; his mother bore the blood of the Danu Divine Race and the Deep Sea Giant Clan, and was a descendant of the First Throne — Military God Nuada. His father, Ku'er, was the previous commander of the Fiona Knights, who had been taken to Paradise Island to enjoy eternal life after accomplishing great feats.

After succeeding his father's position, Finn made "Warrior's Honor and Justice" the Foundation of the Knights, turning it into a symbol of justice and honor, integrating maxims such as "Pure Heart," "Strong Body," and "Walk the Talk" into the conduct of himself and the members of the Knights, rejuvenating the entire Fiona Knights, leading to unprecedented development and a large following of Celtic support.

Currently, the Fiona Knights officially recorded members exceed twenty thousand, composed of 27 units led by 750 chiefs, primarily from Lunster and Munster of Ireland's four major states, surpassing by far the Red Branch Knights under King Fergus of Ulster and Queen Maeve's Personal Guard of Connacht, making it the most powerful battle unit in all of Ireland.

At the same time, Finn himself is incredibly powerful, having defeated Magical Pigs, Horse of the Underworld, and even deities in a series of adventures into the Otherworld, and once succeeded in ascending to Sky Island and winning in a contest with Military God Nuada.

Although it's hard for outsiders to judge whether Grandfather Nuada went easy on his grandson Finn.

But undoubtedly, Finn has long surpassed mortal strength, rivaling the Danu Gods, and is Ireland's undisputed number one.

With such a living legend appearing, he is certain to easily scatter those ignorant foreign barbarians.

Seemingly sensing the hope in the eyes around him, Finn smiled elegantly and said warmly:

"Your Majesty, they are but some foreign savages who have crossed the sea, surely a small number. To directly report this to the gods seems to make a mountain out of a molehill. I request to lead the Fiona Knights into battle, to relieve worries for you and Ireland."

"But Ulster has already lost contact, they seem not to be ordinary savages."

Supreme King Conmark hesitated.

And as Finn glanced at the aging Druid and his projection Crystal Ball, he smiled casually:

"Controlling celestial phenomena, concealing perception, these are but wizard tricks. Ulster has Fergus and Cu Chulainn guarding it, not so easily defeated. I can clearly feel they are all still alive, just isolated by a strong barrier."

"Oh, oh, I nearly forgot, Cu Chulainn is your cousin indeed."

Supreme King Conmark smacked his forehead, suddenly enlightened.

[Son of Light]Cu Chulainn's father is Sun God Lugh and Finn's mother's half-brother, making Finn and Cu Chulainn cousins from the same bloodline.

There is a certain bloodline resonance between the two, enabling them to sense each other's state of life and death, which is not unusual.

And hearing that the key figures in Ulster were still alive, with the Red Branch Knights stationed at the front line still retaining their combat power, everyone's hearts were greatly calmed, and the danger level of this attack was downgraded by several levels.

However, Supreme King Conmark on the throne still had some hesitation:

"That may be so, but sending only your group out might be too risky? What about Sky Island's side..."

"Your Majesty, this year's Magic Tax and offerings from the four states have not yet been gathered."

Finn spoke quietly, his eyes revealing a meaningful look.

Supreme King Conmark suddenly awakened, his murky eyes instantly gaining a few degrees of clarity.

Requesting Sky Island to send troops to quell the chaos would not be an issue, but for the esteemed gods to descend in person to toil over the life and death of mortals, they would have to express a gesture.

—For example, increasing this year's tax burden and offerings...

If it were in the past, it would be manageable, just Finland's people enduring hardship, with him bearing the curse.

But in recent years, something seemed to be wrong with the Celtic God Era, disasters kept coming, the soil degraded, not only leading to consecutive years of poor harvests but even the formerly plentiful Magic Beasts and minerals became scarce, making the gathering of offerings extremely difficult.

Otherwise, the quotas for offerings assigned to the four major states would have been collected long ago, and there wouldn't be such a shortfall.

If the Sky Island's Danu Gods were disturbed by this minor matter, it might be easy to invite the gods but difficult to send them off.

In the event that Ireland could not produce a satisfactory reward for the opposite, and angered the gods, causing punishment, it would be more harm than good.

On the other hand, if Finn led the Fiona Knights to battle, things would be much simpler, especially since the majority of the Fiona Knights members are natives from Munster and Lunster, even if they don't understand Ireland's difficulties, their demands would be much cheaper.
