Chapter 113: Don’t lower your head, the Crown will fall; don’t shed tears, the bad guys will laugh (please vote)
Through the swirling dust, Morgan looked towards the still-standing throne ahead, a trace of solemnity appearing on her face.
As the Guardian of Britain, she could easily mobilize the magic factors of the entire island to confront her foes. Coupled with the fact that Cornwall beneath her feet was the most steadfast Holy Land of belief for her three sisters, her "Divine Authority" could be brought to its utmost here.
However, her perfectly timed and positioned strike couldn't shake this King of the Wild Hunt from Wales.
No wonder he dared to commit crimes in Britain, it seems he has something to rely on!
Morgan's eyes turned cold, and she heavily tapped her magic wand against the ground.
Instantly, thirteen light-formed spears converged into one in the sky, transforming into a Light Anchor with a diameter of hundreds of meters, and with power several times stronger than before, it smashed again towards the broken throne ahead.
"I already said I'm just passing by..."
Luo En sighed helplessly, but his hands did not slow down at all.
Under the impetus of Divine Will, countless runes rose from the void like stars, constructing a tenfold overlapping Light Curtain.
Sun, moon, rivers, city-state, life... various symbols representing all things in the world were reflected within, both illusory and real.
"Bang bang bang bang!"
The falling Light Anchor, after arduously piercing through seven protective barriers, was also shattered by the force of the Light Curtain's countershock, breaking apart into countless tiny specks of light.
Having successfully blocked this strike, Luo En waved his hand to dispel the surrounding swirling dust and surging tides of magic power, and persuaded:
"Why don't we sit down and talk first, and clear up the misunderstanding."
"Fine, once I capture you, I'll give you a chance to explain!"
Convinced that her opponent was only stalling and trying to deceive her, Morgan remained unmoved, and the cherry lips under her veil rapidly moved, chanting strings of Elf Language, as Elf Spells from the Six Great Fairy Clans—source, wind, tooth, earth, mirror, and wing—were launched forward like a storm, nearly covering the entire valley.
Arrogant and stubborn...
Luo En silently assessed the other's character and raised his hand to sketch in the air.
Under his control, sacred texts such as Hermes Script, Lun Rune, Titan Language, and Elf Language automatically constructed layers of defensive and counterattack spells, intercepting all the overwhelming Elf Spells and even effectively rebounding them.
Caught off guard, Morgan's figure was instantly engulfed by a dense barrage of Cursed Bullets.
Watching the dazzling flames leap into the sky, Luo En mused to himself.
Indeed, sparring with Vivian all the way has its benefits.
Thanks to his rich experience in breaking various Elf Spells, his first move caught the Celtic native goddess off guard.
However...
As the swirling dust cleared away, the bright moonlight solidified, condensing into twelve mercury-colored ancient mirrors, surrounding the silver-haired Enchantress like a magnificent Crystal Coffin, fully isolating herself and the surrounding attacks.
Sure enough, it wasn't that easy.
Luo En shook his head, looking with interest at this astonishingly effective new defensive spell.
Meanwhile, sealed within the "Crystal Coffin," Morgan's expression grew even more solemn.
As an exceptional Enchantress, she had extraordinary skill in magic, not only mastering the various Elf Spells of the Six Great Fairy Clans but also integrating them with her own divinity and authority, creating four unique secret techniques: "Mirror," "Tower," "Court," and "Coffin."
"Mirror" is a reconnaissance, defense, and reflection magic, also responsible for short-distance transfer.
"Tower" is a barrier magic covering a fixed area, with the privilege of dominion.
"Coffin" serves as a domain of defense, repair, and regeneration, using it as a medium to completely isolate outside attacks.
The last, "Court," is rather complex, dealing with the mental plane, including categories such as "Beautiful Dream," "Abyss," "Disappointment," and "Innocent," employing different strategies against different enemies, advocating for defeating foes mentally and psychologically—a lesson learned from her sister Elaine.
Just now, her full exertion of various Elf Spells not only failed to harm her opponent, they were even broken and rebounded, finally forcing her to hurriedly employ the "Mirror" and "Coffin" secret techniques to resolve the crisis.
Undoubtedly, in the magic showdown on the field, she, the "Lake Fairy," had completely fallen at a disadvantage.
In that case...
Morgan tucked the scepter under her arm, as the surging magic power whipped up a biting gale around her.
As an inky hue spread, the originally elegant and noble Enchantress transformed completely.
The previously deep blue-black gauze dress transformed into pitch-black, fearsome full-body armor, and the tall figure sat astride a red-eyed warhorse. And the magic wand tucked under her arm transformed into a giant Knight Spear, with its tip bristling with thorny iron spikes, intimidating to behold:
"Azure Storm, pitch-black Thunder, I call upon thee—Lengonimiyad!"
With solemn Holy Word, the female knight raised the pitch-black Thorny Spear in her hand.
A pillar of red-black light shot skyward, lightning and storm forming a massive, visible pitch-black vortex in the sky, like a black hole devouring all life, frantically gathering and swallowing the surrounding magic factors, forging them into the pitch-black spear tip.
Vanguard Spear—Lengonimiyad?
Hearing this name, Luo En's mind raced.
The description of this spear can be traced back to the archetype of the Arthurian legend—the earliest works of the Arthur Wales legend, namely the Welsh Story Collection Mabinogion's branch of Culhwch and Olwen. In that era's Arthurian legend, there was not yet the concept of the Round Table and knights, but there was already the description of the "Sword of Victory" sworn by the Lake Sword and the "Vanguard Spear" Lengominiad.
