The Golem Mage

Chapter 299: Conspiracy Part 3.

Silas dashed towards the four earth mages, and swinged his weapon striking at them with his flaming sword, but only three managed to stand their ground and defend against the attack.

Meanwhile, one of the mages bypassed his strike and moved towards Aurora, attempting to capture her, as he stretched his right hand towards her neck.

Aurora's eyes flashed as she summoned a her red gauntlet that was part of her own spirit equipment and delivered an uppercut to the approaching mage, shocking him.

He was really trying to move back but Despite his attempt to move back, Aurora's attack speed left him shocked and unable to avoid her strike so he tried using his outstretched hand to block

But she still smashed his jaws and hand, flinging him away.

The sixth elder of the Fridall clan, who Was observing the fight from a distance like he was on vacation , muttered,

"Tsk! I warned them, but they never listen, they still underestimate the powers of Aurora "

Aurora not letting go, continued her relentless assault on the mage, delivering a series of strikes without giving him a chance to recover,

causing him to cough up blood, Meanwhile, Silas, holding back the three other tier 8 mages, looked over to Aurora's location and realized he didn't need to be overly concerned about her safety.

"I think you underestimate us way too much to be looking elsewhere when you are also occupied fighting us," remarked one of the three mages,

As a he found a weak spot in Silas's defense and send a rotating earth spear straight for his waist.

But the earth spear ended up being ineffective as it disintegrated upon landing on Silas's armor.

"I can't continue fighting like this, If this continues, I might lose my life!" the mage facing Aurora shouted in frustration, releasing a dangerous aura and unleashing different sword Qis from his body.

Aurora, seeing the onslaught of sword Qis coming towards her, quickly summoned her full set of spirit equipment not thinking of acting high and mighty again

As she covered herself in armor, bracing for the attacks with both of her hands in front of her in a X defence.

Despite her efforts, she was still riddled with sword cuts and injuries.

As she slowly raised her head, she looked towards the person she was facing, only to realize that the place where he was once standing was now covered in dust and fog.

"Hmm, where did he go?" she pondered aloud as she swiped her hand, sending a fireball flying towards the fog, hoping to clear it faster.

As she also looked around trying to pick up any movement from the surrounding, but all she saw was a long sword slashing at the fireball, coming at the fog.

As the fireball neared the fog, the sword came in contact with it, the fog dissipated and Aurora finally saw the mage she was facing a moment ago.

Now clad in armor, a shining white armor with a long sword in his hand, his aura looking valiant as he walked towards her one step at a time.

He cracked his neck and looked at her. Find adventures on My Virtual Library Empire

"I thought I could defeat you easily, considering the Blaze Clan's younger generation was getting weaker than the last generation, but it seems you are an exception. So, I have decided to take things a little more seriously now," the mage said as he prepared for battle.

"I know that Clan Insignia, You are from the Blade Clan. What are mages of the central kingdom doing in the northern kingdom?"

Aurora's question left the mage in shock as he hadn't expected her to identify him so easily from his clan's insignia on the armor.

"Trying to gather more information? I don't think so," the mage from the Blade clan retorted, swinging his sword.

This time the tide had turned, with the Blade clan mage relentlessly attacking while Aurora struggled to defend herself against his exceptional swordsmanship and the countless sword Qi rotating around him.

The overwhelming battle made it difficult for Aurora to close the distance between them, as her Flame Mana was being pushed back by his Countless sword Qi

It was being controlled through his Ki energy.

Meanwhile, the three mages facing Silas realized they had been exposed and summoned their Spirit Equipment, no longer concealing their powers.

Each of them wielded a uniquely crafted sword— a curved sword, a great sword, and a rapier.

It was evident that the members of the Blade clan were born masters one or more weapons,

Their control over their weapons' Qi comes naturally to them, which helped them progress as great swordsmen in a world of magic where Mana reigns.

They convert their Mana to Ki energy to temper their bodies, breaking restrictions and growing stronger.

As a result, they can deliver much more destructive and speedy techniques, making their clan the prime example of born warriors Path Mages.

As they abandoned their use of the earth element, the mages began overpowering Aurora and Silas.

Despite the duo's efforts, they were being beaten to a pulp.

Silas, growing increasingly desperate, called out to the sixth elder, who was observing from atop a mountain.

"What are you doing? We gave you everything you asked for, You are a subsidiary clan of the Blaze Clan, for God's sake," Silas pleaded, realizing that only the sixth elder had the power to intervene and save them from the dire situation they were facing.

"You want to know why I am doing all this?, It's quite simple. Your clan wanted our clan to kill your young master, Alec, and we attempted to do so, In the process, we made a mistake in their power assessment just like your clan had done for years and lost, In that battle, I ended up losing my son," the sixth elder explained.

"And my father was captured. What more can a man ask for? All I wanted was more support to get my revenge, But after the capital termed my clan as criminals, your clan stopped your support and cut ties with us because of the royal clan. You claim you want to lay low and leave Alec for now and kill him later," the elder continued, his voice filled with bitterness.

"That boy grows faster than you can expect. If I don't kill him now, I would never rest. I have to avenge my son's death. Even as we speak, no, I already have a plan to kill him, and I would not wait for your clan who had not even kept any of there promises to my clan" the Sixth Elder declared before Aurora interrupted.

"No!!!" Aurora shouted, her voice filled with emotion.

"Keep all your emotions in check for later, as you are the ones in danger now. I know your clan won't move against the Gordons clan, so I have to give them a reason too. Killing you and dumping your body here with evidence that looks like the Gordons clan killed you would incite the Blaze Clan," the elder explained.

"And when they don't see Aurora's body, they would think they have kidnapped her. After all, you and the patriarch did have a spat before she left with you. When your junior enforcers investigate this case, they would believe that, truly, you were killed by the Gordons clan in secret since they don't want Aurora out of their clan for some certain reasons," the sixth elder concluded.

Silas couldn't help but wonder just how much hate was inside this mage before him.

As he fought the three mages with multiple wounds, he also listened to the sixth elder's statements.

"After I'm done, my intentions would be clear. I want to use the hands of the Blaze Clan to destroy the Gordons clan, simple! You are just a piece of sacrifice I have to make. As for Aurora, don't worry; I will return her to your clan after they do my bidding," the Sixth Elder proclaimed, revealing his sinister plan.
