The Goblin's Leveling System!

[Forest Near Eldion]

[The Demon Commander, Cometa's PoV:]

It was the time to infiltrate Eldion.

We recieved Intel that the heroes will be summoned tomorrow which is both a good and bad thing for us.

Due to some unknown reasons, the demon lords and archdemons can't interfere with the summoning so we, the lower ranking demons were given the task to infiltrate Eldion and sabotage the hero summoning ceremony.

Even though our group is strong enough since we are the elites of our ranks to destroy Eldion, we still chose to be cautious since we might not know about other variables.

It is better safe than sorry.

The forest that we were currently taking camp was surrounded by numerous green trees which bore many fruits.

Just by eating the fruits, we can last here for a month.

I had 25 demon leaders with me in the forest while the hundred thousand demon soldiers were currently disguised as beastman.

All of the hundred thousand demon soldiers had successfully infiltrated Eldion using Disguise magic and the king was none the wiser.

Even his guards and subjects haven't even found out yet about our infiltration.

So the only part of our plan that haven't been put into action was the infiltration of the remaining demons which is the demon leaders and I.

The success rate of this mission will be lowered considering it is almost impossible for us to conceal our abilities but we can easily handle if we wear the pendant of power concealment which was made by a famous artifactsmith in the Demon continent.

We must also enter Eldion without any mishaps and must enter it before the heroes were summoned since by that time Eldion will improve the security of their kingdom.

If their current security was child's play then tomorrow, all the guards will be stationed outside to not let the intruders and other foreign people enter the kingdom.

I was biting a fruit known as appel. It was red in color and tastes sweet as a honey when freshly picked.

Good thing this forest is abundant in fruits and there were even herbs that were hardly noticeable but I recognized all of it despite it looking like a grass or weed due to my well versed knowledge on alchemy.

I could even produce a deadly poison if I want to but that will catch the attention of the neighboring kingdoms and might even decrease the chance of our plan in succeeding which I don't want to happen.

I signaled the demon leaders to wear the black hoods that were infused with demon magic and high tiered concealment spell.

It also had the ability to attract less attention than not wearing it.

The creator of this hood must be a genius since he can even apply a spell that will make it to attract less attention considering figures wearing black hoods can attract lots of attention if in a crowded place.

We started to move towards the walls of Eldion that surrounded and protected Eldion from invaders.

It was a 50 meter tall and 25 meter wide crommite wall. Crommite was a type of rock that ranked 14 in the world's hardest and most durable rock.

Despite being ranked fourteenth, its toughness and durability was labeled as hard as metal so it was must've cost a hefty sum just to build this wall not to mention the labor cost.

Either the king must be rich or he was backed by someone powerful but I believe the latter.

It is unlikely that the beastman king was rich considering he doesn't have that much high leveled guards.

We walked and travelled in group and after arriving at the wall of Eldion, was used wind spell known as wind step and wind jump to lift us up in air and bypass the 50 meter tall wall.

We successfully jumped over the wall and landed safely on the ground. We were now inside Eldion without the guards even noticing it.

Some of the patrol guards are heading to our location but luckily we had some time to avoid them.

We met up with the other demon soldiers and since a lot of us are in Eldion and since a hundred thousand people regrouping would make us become suspicious, only a hundred demon soldiers regrouped with us.

We proceeded to the next step of our plan.

We are planning to disrupt the hero summoning ceremony and to do that, we decided to let a demon soldier to change the summoning crystals used into a mana sealing crystal.

The outcome of that will be the summoner's mana will be sealed so in other words, the summoner can no longer use mana.

It will put us into a huge advantage and after that, we will conquer Eldion!

"Let us proceed with the plan! Demon Soldier A and Demon Soldier B will be in charge of the summoning crystal switcheroo and it will be spearheaded by Demon Leader A."

The meeting lasted for an hour before we finished concocting the best plan yet.

The plan went smoothly and we successfully switched all of the summoning crystals.

Today is the hero summoning ceremony. We polished our weapons and prepared some life saving artifacts just in case if the operation went haywire.

Just as we were about to sneak into the kingdom to witness the beastman's failure in summoning the beastman heroes, a lightning suddenly struck far Eldion but it was still noticeable.

Someone must be going against the will of the Gods.

Several minutes passed and the lighting and black clouds subsided and what remained is a clear sky.

I have a bad feeling about this.

The beastman successfully summoned 3 beastman heroes.

The first hero was a lion beastman while the other was a female wolf beastman.

The third beastman hero was a raccoon beastman with pitch black hair and red eyes.

One of the guards went to the raccoon beastman hero, unsheathed his sword and decapitated the raccoon beastman with pitch black hair.

So far the beastman continent was the first to summon the heroes.

"Now the prophecy is fulfilled. Exactly two beastman heroes left."

The guard then left while the summoners used a potion to dissolve the corpse of the raccoon beastman which disintegrated the corpse in just mere seconds.

The beastman kingdom was indeed the most twisted kingdom in all races.

Since our plan failed because the summoners must have noticed that the crystals were swapped so we failed but we still gained valuable information.

We started to scatter in the kingdom and blocked the nearest exits and some of us even conversed with the beastman to remove suspicions and act like we were fellow citizens.

A commotion arised since a goblin claiming he was a goblin hero argued with the guards.

Eldion must be lacking some competent guards.

Did he even notice the power emanating from the goblin?

It was already proof that he was an extraordinary goblin so the possibility of him being a goblin hero is high.

The Goblin's mind snapped as he was in rage.

He waved his hand and several meters struck Eldion but a magic barrier defended Eldion from the meteors.

The goblin seemed to be pissed because of the barrier so he used magic dispel to remove the magic barrier which caused the meteors to fall and destroy the houses and other establishments in Eldion.

He was even killing the demon soldiers who disguised themselves as beastman as the meteors befell on them.

A minute has passed and the meteors kept on bombarding Eldion.

Almost half of Eldion were destroyed and all of the demons except for me got killed.

What's more worse than that was he killed all the demons except for me and the real beastman.

He haven't killed any beastman yet. Only the demon soldiers and leaders disguised as beastman.

Just as I was in a daze, I didn't notice that a huge meteor was already in the sky and was about to descend into me.

I tried to avoid the place where the meteor was going to land and you know what? That meteor sonnavabeech bent and was know heading towards me.

"What the hell? Is this homing?"

That was my last sentence as the huge meteor befell on me.
