The Goblin's Leveling System!

We have finally arrived at the Holy Church.

It took a while because of the bandits' interference and after that, we took some time to recover our energy.

A considerable amount of devotees were inside the church and on the first floor of the holy church, the priest was there preaching to the people inside about their religion and the ways of their god.

I'm not much of a person who believes in the teachings of god since I don't believe in god. Nevertheless, I'm still afraid of the unknown and also afraid of God even though I don't believe he exists.

I only believe in the ability of mankind to create things with the use of science.

Even cloning machines were invented on Earth in my era.

Who knows after I'm gone someone continued my research and made another breakthrough in technology and maybe they can finally invent time-travel and if not it then space travel.

I was wondering if I should invent Everhearterium in this world. Maybe I can even create a much stronger metal than it if I infuse it with mana.

I observed the inside of the church and the design is similar to the Earth's church.

We were walking towards the priest. The king and his soldier went ahead of us and after they arrived near the priest, they talked about something which even I can't listen to it. Maybe they used some magic or skills to block the sound their emitting and only allowed it to be heard by them.

I didn't mind anyway because they might be talking about some information that might be confidential and I know that the king won't be that foolish to offend us, heroes, since he already witnessed our power and he even summoned some heroes in the first place.

I shouldn't be wasting my time in here and I should just focus on leveling. Who knows when the demon lord will send his army and attack us?

Since the king and the priest were talking with each other non-stop, We decided to sit on the chairs that the people inside the church sat on when worshipping their God.

Another priest took over since the other priest is talking with the king and then he took out his bible, opened it, flipped the pages, and then he started reciting the so-called words of God that were written in the bible.

Who knows if those were the real words of God? Maybe they were just made-up by humans in ancient times to mislead future generations.

That's the reason why I don't believe in God and I will only believe in God if he speaks to me and prove to me that he's real.

Well, that's the point of our trip to the holy church. The pope is still not here. Maybe he's on the second floor.

I might as familiarize myself with the system.

'Did the system obtain new information and if not new then updated information?'

*The system has obtained only a few pieces of information. Both new and updated information.*

'What's the updated information?'

*Remember the time when the system informed the host that the host needs to defeat the demon lord to obtain a wish?*

'I clearly remembered that. Is there a new update about that?'

*Well yes but the host won't like the updated information.*

'Why won't I like it?'

*It is because the system obtained the information that the host needs to defeat demon lord instead of demon lords.*

'Wait... Did the system just say, demon lords?! Having one demon lord is already a pain in the ass but now there is more than one of them?!'

*The system also obtained information that there are 7 demon lords.*

'So that is why there are 11 heroes summoned in this world... But aren't they underestimating the demon lords and their army?'

*The host is incorrect. The host is underestimating the potential of a summoned hero. If given the time, a summoned hero will eventually surpass a demon lord.*

'IF given the time. It's not like the demon lord will let the heroes become powerful enough to let the heroes defeat them.'

*Of course the demon lords won't allow the heroes to become stronger. I obtained information that will grant the host knowledge on why the humans and other races against the demon race aren't in a disadvantageous situation.*

'Enlighten me.'

*The humans and other races can summon heroes without any limit. In other words, it is possible to summon hundreds of heroes or even thousands.*

'So why didn't they summoned multiple heroes?'

Wait... Maybe they didn't because they can't in the meantime. It is possible that they lack materials to conduct the summoning ritual or they lack mana.

I don't believe that humans and other races don't have the capabilities of summoning multiple heroes.

*Host, the system detects a powerful presence near the host and it is approaching in a slow movement. The transportation method used by it is walking. The system does not detect any hostility from it towards the host nor the people inside the church it's the opposite.*

Sounds of footsteps reverberated inside the church as a figure descended from the stairs as he trod on the stairs.

An old man wearing a white robe with golden-colored markings, a bead necklace with a cross-shaped wood wrapped around his neck, and a white round cap with golden motifs made out of cloth.

The old man must be the Pope.

The old man stood beside the priest, took over the priest and he started his speech.

"Good day beautiful children of our almighty God! I Pope Benedict, the instrument and apostle of God, have an important announcement to make!", The old man spoke in a loud calm voice yet filled with kindness and awe-inspiring tone.

"The prophecy has begun! The heroes that had been summoned have now arrived! The gods have blessed us and with the heroes' guidance, we can defeat the forces of evil and survive this impending doom!", the old man added.

The old man glanced at where we are currently sitting at. He directed his hands at us and said...

"Some of the heroes have arrived so let us welcome their safe arrival! Heroes, we will perform the ritual after all of the heroes have arrived since the human heroes haven't arrived yet."

We nodded and he started preaching about their religion and stuff which I didn't mind and so I focused on my system.

'System, how many high-ranking demons are there?'

*There are currently 3 demon ancestors, 7 demon lords, 35 archdemons and 350 supreme demons, and 3500 demon nobles and the lower ranking demons' number kept on increasing as time passes by.*

'Analyze and appraise the demon's average levels. I need to comprehend their level of strength or I will be courting death if I confront without knowing anything about them.'

*The system will initiate analysis and appraisal towards the level of the demons...*

[Somewhere In The Demon Continent]

Someone's PoV:

I am currently sitting in a chair made out of azetite, a metal processed from azetite ore mined in the bottomless mine which is one of the world's hardest metals and is colored pitch black yet lustrous.

As I am sitting on my chair, a cold chill runs through my spine as I felt foreign energy befall upon me. The gaze of someone unknown was directed to me as I felt that someone from a far place cast something into me yet it is something I can't fathom.

Someone who is not to be trifled with is watching my every move however it seems that he doesn't know where I am at.

I must inform the others about this.

I cast [Communication Screen] then several transparent screens appeared.

The image of 6 demons was shown on the screen.

"What happened this time? Did the heroes arrived at the holy church?", One of the demons on the screen spoke up.

"We should eliminate them as soon as possible! The human heroes are still traveling and haven't arrived at the holy church yet!", Another demon spoke up with an impatient tone.

"We don't have to concern ourselves about them since they are not a threat yet. There is someone who is the greatest threat that will hinder us in our plan. Haven't you felt foreign energy and a gaze from someone?", I asked the demons on the screen.

Silence permeates the room as they were pondering about it until one of them spoke up.

"That was indeed unsettling. Only powerful beings can do such a thing and what's more alarming is that being used foreign energy to cast a spell towards us."

"We don't have to worry as it is not a curse or something and it's more of an appraisal skill or something similar to that."

An appraisal skill? It must be God rank or Beyond God rank to even make someone like me uncomfortable.

"I changed my mind! Forget about what I said before about only allowing our demon soldiers to attack them! We will send 5 supreme demons to test the strength of the heroes! The appearance of a powerful being yet not so powerful but has limitless potential will affect our plan! We will delay the heroes if possible eliminate them!", I announce to the demons on the screen.

"Let us spill blood and cause chaos! May the sky rain crimson!"
