Not believing it at first, Zomor returned the card and summoned for the second time. He finally believed when it was another beast with the early Sacred Creator cultivation.

Now that he believed it, he seriously focused on the details of the beast.

Like any creature that could reach the Sacred Creator level, it was extraordinary, and just being a friend would be a great boost, let alone having it as a pet.

But now that he had seen from his own eyes that the store truly had Sacred Creator level beasts to sell, he became demanding.

The details on the card were outstanding, but not that outstanding that he wanted to stop.

Considering that, he returned the card and pressed the button to summon it for the third time.

The third try again resulted in a dud, so Zomor moved to the next summon.

His excitement reached its peak when the summoning time reached zero, and when the beast finally appeared on the screen, it reached new heights.

It was a beast unfamiliar to him, which was shocking since he had lived for so long. Only a few beings in the entire dimension knew more than him. Even though he took long years of sleep in regular intervals, his son's information gathering ability was second to none.

Following the summoning, a card appeared out of nowhere and flew into his hand. He immediately looked at it to see what kind of beast it was.

One half of the card contained the details, while the other half had the illustration of the beast.

The Golden Lamprey was a majestic serpent with an awe-inspiring presence. Its sleek, curved body shone with a golden glow just like sunlight on water. Its scales were a perfect blend of grayish ground and deep emerald green.

Along its back, a ridge of shining fins flowed like a living stream, glowing with hues of blue. Its underbelly was adorned with intricate patterns of flowing rivers and roots.

Its eyes were luminous orbs of liquid gold, showing wisdom and a profound connection to the natural world. From its head, delicate whisker-like tendrils stretch out, pulsating with energy and acting as conduits for its elemental powers.

Its tail ended in a fan-like structure of green vines. It was both beautiful and fearsome, a living model of nature's harmonious balance and overwhelming power.

Zomor immediately fell in love with the beast, so he no longer hesitated and chose it. He then left the line where there was only one customer behind him, while there were thousands of customers in front of other pillars.

He then walked to the square device and joined the line, waiting for his turn.

After waiting for some time, it was his turn, so he did as was told by Ransh and started the taming battle.

The next moment, his consciousness appeared in the special environment of the Golden Lamprey while his cultivation had dropped to the early Sacred Creator level.

Not long after, the Golden Lamprey also appeared and shocked Zomor. Looking at the beast from the screen was one thing, while seeing it live was another.

Even though Zomor had killed a few Sacred Creators in his long life, he had never felt that kind of threat from any being at the same level as him.

It was as if the beast was at the peak of the Sacred Creator level while he was at the early level of cultivation.

Ransh had already informed Zomor that there were some special situations when it came to the Sacred Creator level beasts, so even winning wouldn't imply that he would be successful in signing the contract.

So Zomor, who had been humbled since he came to the store, immediately expanded in size, and reached his peak body size. He decided to use his strength to instill fear into the heart of the Golden Lamprey so it wouldn't dare to refuse to sign the contract after it was defeated.

Hiss!

The Golden Lamprey let out an angry hiss when it saw the expression of looking down on Zomor's face.

Ring!

Suddenly, the bell that rang from all sides rang in the area and announced the start of the battle.

The Golden Lamprey immediately made its move and let out an angry cry. The next moment, elements started gathering together and formed a large ball of water.

The water fluctuated like stones were being thrown into a calm water body. Following that, it shot needle-like projectiles made of water.

Zomor wasn't going to wait for the enemy to attack and wanted to be the first to initiate, so he had also made his move right after the bell rung.

The irregular crystal spires that were on each of its scales started to glow and soon let out bursts of energy beams. In no time, the sky was covered with different color energy beams, and soon they were met with the needles released from the ball of water.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Loud explosion-like sounds rang in the area as the two attacks collided. As time passed, Zomor became more and more shocked by the power of the skill.

He had read all 101 skills of the Golden Lamprey, so he knew which were its most powerful skills, while the ones which were basic. The one currently used by the beast wasn't a basic tier ability, but it was only slightly below mid-tier.

The one used by Zomor was also the skill of the same level, so when they were of equal match, he felt surprised by it.

Zomor was ready to attack again but stopped when he saw the beast's actions. Instead of preparing for the second round of attacks, the Golden Lamprey began to further empower the skill, making the ball of water even bigger. At the same time, it also looked at Zomor with an expression as if it was challenging him to keep going.
