Chapter 4: Bonus Lore: The Ash War
To briefly explain the so-called Ash War (who knows, it might become important later…):
The Ash War was a massive conflict between demigods that took place during a now-forgotten era.
At its core, the war was sparked by an imbalance of power. Some demigods—concerned by the growing threat of a dominant force—chose to unite and destroy the then-strongest world in an attempt to restore equilibrium.
This era, known as the Ash Epoch, could be reached at minute 49 on the Great Clock—positioning it just before the age of World Wars.
Unlike other worlds, the 49th had very few demigods. But one individual alone was enough to destabilize everything.
His sheer power brought him frighteningly close to the level of a god.
Because of the terrifying mask he wore—marked by glowing red points around the eyes and a wide, unsettling grin—he became known only as "the Masked One."
To put it simply:
The Ash War left the 49th world nearly destroyed and uninhabitable. What remains is nothing but a desolate wasteland—its surface littered with corpses, collapsed cities, massive craters, and natural disasters.
The death toll reached into the billions.
Only a few thousand of the original inhabitants survived.
They were later relocated to Aethra Prime.
