All this drama just for 1 element?

Nope, yeah if the element was some kind of common elements such as water or fire, then Lyrium would've just shrugged it off and just ignore it.

The element he got was a mysterious element that didn't introduce in the Novel, but, he already know what kind of element it was since he is an anomaly from another world,

And, the element 'Void' was a extremely dangerous element according to his information from his previous and, the most dangerous element was,
