The Extra’s POV : I can only use Dash

As soon as Eve, Sae-jin, and I stepped through the white door that had appeared before us, we found ourselves inside a vast, completely white room. 

At the far end, directly in front of us, stood three metallic mannequins, each holding a wooden sword in its hand. 

"Welcome to the [Simulation Room], a place where you, future first-years, can train however you like!" 

Eve spread her arms wide as if presenting the room like some grand spectacle. 

'This… isn't at all how I imagined it when I first read the novel's description.' 

It was… empty. Nothing innovative, nothing extraordinarily futuristic. 

I glanced at Sae-jin, and judging by his expression, he was thinking exactly the same thing. 

'Boredom.' 

Just like in the novel, Sae-jin had been eager to see the [Simulation Room], but when he first laid eyes on it, he was thoroughly disappointed. And even though he was experiencing this moment earlier than in the original storyline, his reaction remained the same. 

"What's with those faces? You two look like you're not impressed." 

Eve frowned, looking at us doubtfully. 

"No, not at all." 

Sae-jin and I answered in unison.

"Alright, let me explain—it's pretty simple. These training dummies have difficulty levels ranging from Rank F all the way to Rank A; they can also mime all the monsters between each rank, and there are five stages. Let's start with the easiest one." 

[Training dummy: Rank F → Stage 1] 

[Activating Training dummy, Rank F - Stage 1. Please wait...] 

[Selected Mimic Monster: Rank F Goblin] 

A wooden sword materialized in Eve's hand as the mannequin in front of her powered up. 

Sae-jin and I observed the scene attentively. 

For him, it was the first time seeing something like this. As for me—though I had read about it before—I had forgotten how this mechanic actually worked. Since I could no longer rely on my knowledge of the novel, I had no choice but to watch carefully. 

A few moments later: 

[Activation Complete: Rank F Goblin - Stage 1] 

[Hits Landed: 0] 

[Record Time: 0:00] 

[Countdown to Training Start: <10 seconds>] 

<9 seconds...> 

"Oh, I almost forgot to mention—just because this is a [Simulation Room] doesn't mean you can't get hurt. These mannequins can still injure you, so expect some nice bruises if you're careless!" 

'I already knew that!' 

<3 seconds...> 

<2 seconds...> 

<1 second...> 

[Simulation Start: Initiating Isolation of Challenger] 

Seconds later, Eve was suddenly surrounded by a white cube rising from the ground, completely blocking our view of her. 

"What the—?" 

"She disappeared?" 

Sae-jin asked in confusion.

It took only a minute before Eve reappeared before us, a confident smile on her face. 

Behind her were the remains of the training mannequin, torn apart beyond recognition. 

"And that's how it's done!"
