Chapter 351: Chapter 349: Erina, the Wildcat Who Became a Housecat

"It hurts! Erina, are you a puppy or something?" Sui inhaled sharply, wincing in pain as he called out.

"You're the puppy! Your whole family are puppies!" Erina snapped back angrily. The softness she displayed moments ago vanished, replaced by her usual haughty demeanor.

"Alright, seems like someone's acting up again," Sui said with a mischievous smile. He pulled her closer and playfully gave her a firm smack on her little butt.

"Ow! That hurt!" Erina's eyes began to redden, tears threatening to spill. "You're such a bully!"

Without warning, she opened her mouth and bit down on Sui's hand.

Amused, Sui grinned and effortlessly pulled her into his embrace, locking her small hands in one of his.

"What do you think you're doing? Let me go!" Erina huffed, trying to free herself. But Sui's grip was firm, holding her delicate wrists like they were clamped in iron. Her attempts to struggle were futile.

Her wrists, pale and slender, had no strength to fight back.

Sui watched her with a teasing smile. "Go ahead, keep biting," he taunted.

Erina's frustration mounted. She gritted her teeth and bit him again, this time harder.

But instead of flinching, Sui leaned in closer. His lips brushed against hers, effectively silencing her protest.

Erina's eyes widened in shock, a mixture of embarrassment and fury flashing through them.

"Mmph...! Let go of me, you...you jerk!" she mumbled against his lips, but Sui paid no heed to her words.

Just as she prepared to bite him again, Sui suddenly jerked back as though struck by lightning. He rubbed his mouth with a frown. "Erina, are you sure you're not a puppy?"

Erina huffed and tilted her chin upward in defiance, a smug look of victory on her face. She softly snorted, as if daring him to try that again.

Sui couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief. Moments ago, she was as meek as a housecat, and now she'd reverted back to being a feisty wildcat. He wasn't about to let her win, though. He leaned in once more.

This time, Erina seemed ready for him. But just as she prepared to bite back, she suddenly felt Sui's other hand wander, becoming increasingly bold.

Her snow-white cheeks flushed a deep red, her body stiffened with embarrassment, and her beautiful violet eyes flickered with a mix of shame and indignation.

"S-Sui, you...you're so awful! Let me go!" she protested weakly, squirming under his hold.

But her struggles were in vain. Before long, Sui had subdued her, leaving her feeling helpless—like a docile little lamb.

With a smug smile, Sui leaned back slightly and teased, "It's no use fighting, Erina."

Erina was mortified, her face flushed with a faint pink hue, her usual confidence shaken. She desperately wished she could vanish into the floor. Every part of her skin seemed to burn with a mix of shame and frustration.

But no matter how much she struggled, Sui remained in control. It wasn't long before she relented, curling up under the blanket like a small, embarrassed kitten.

Her golden hair was slightly tousled, sticking to her flushed cheeks, and her bright eyes darted around, avoiding Sui's gaze. She huddled on the sofa, exposing only her face, glaring at him reproachfully.

Sui couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of her, now transformed from a fiery wildcat into a timid housecat.

"Erina, do you want a midnight snack?" Sui asked, amusement still lingering in his voice.

"Yes... please," Erina mumbled in a much softer tone, her fierce demeanor completely gone.

Sui was speechless at how quickly her temperament shifted. A few minutes ago, she had been unruly and defiant, but now she was as gentle as a domesticated cat.

Shaking his head with a grin, he stood up and made his way to the kitchen, preparing a light midnight snack. He cooked some black rice, added eggs and carrots, and fried them into a fragrant, crispy egg rice cake.

After a while, Sui returned and sat with Erina on the couch. They quietly shared the egg rice cake together, each taking small bites.

Sui's thoughts wandered to Tohru and Kanna. Remembering the two dragons, he packed the remaining rice cake and decided to head back to his apartment.

It was only eleven o'clock, and Tohru and Kanna were still awake, lounging on the sofa and watching TV. Despite their bravado, they both steered clear of horror movies this late at night.

Kanna, who was resting her head on Tohrus lap, caught the scent of the rice cake. Her little tail perked up immediately. She hopped down from the sofa, ran over to Sui, and wrapped her arms around his leg. Her round, innocent eyes gleamed with anticipation as her tail wagged like that of a puppy begging for a treat.

Sui laughed and handed her a piece of rice cake. Kanna eagerly took it and gobbled it up in one bite.

"Midnight snack?" Tohrus eyes sparkled too. She joined in, savoring the food with a satisfied crunch. "Delicious!"

Sui smiled at the two dragons. "When did you get back?"

"Two or three hours ago," Tohru replied between bites.

Sui nodded, having avoided inviting them to his restaurant out of concern they might cause a scene. But these two were never short of fantastic food, given their otherworldly appetite.

Kanna looked up at Sui with a silly grin. "We were very well-behaved today."

"Yeah?" Sui chuckled, feeling relieved.

"Can we go out again tomorrow?" Kanna asked hopefully, her eyes wide with excitement. She had had so much fun with Tohru earlier and was eager for more.

"Of course," Sui said with a smile. Then, something crossed his mind. "By the way, do you still have any of those food coupons?"

Kanna shook her head. "No, we used them all up today."

Tohru chimed in with a carefree smile. "Yep, bought tons of tasty treats."

Sui was stunned. He had given them several million yen worth of coupons that morning, yet they had managed to burn through all of it in a single day. He sighed, realizing just how expensive it was to feed two dragons.
