Chapter 94: YOU WHAT NOW?!
The Yunxiao Sect was never truly quiet—not with them around.
That morning began innocently enough.
Sunlight spilled through the open-air courtyard, where a table was already filled with half-eaten buns, spicy pickled radishes, empty tea cups, and two magical beasts sprawled in various lazy poses.
Jiang Fenglie was attempting to brew tea.
The Liu Twins were arguing over who ate the last pork bun.
And Shuiyun was massaging Huayin's shoulders with the delicacy of a drunken ox.
It was, in short, a normal day.
Until he walked in.
Mo Tianzun, clad in a fresh black and silver robe, hair tied high with streaks of glowing white, stepped into the courtyard with all the casual arrogance of someone who just became immortal again and knew it.
"Morning," he greeted, snatching the half-eaten bun from Zhenhai's plate without breaking eye contact.
Fenglan choked on his tea. "DID YOU JUST—?!"
Mo Tianzun chewed. "Tastes better when it's stolen."
"YOU ABSOLUTE—!"
"Sit down," Tianzun said, waving his hand lazily.
All of them—including Jiang Fenglie and the magical beasts—were shoved back into their seats by a wave of invisible force. Not painful, just… casually divine.
Everyone froze.
Jiang Fenglie's tea pot trembled in his hand.
"…Uh…" Zhenhai slowly raised a hand like a schoolboy. "Tianzun? Why are your fingers sparking with lightning and your robe glowing?"
Mo Tianzun lifted one hand and spun a delicate orb of yin-flame on his fingertip like a coin. "Because I'm back."
Huayin blinked, tilting his fox ears toward him. "Back… how back?"
Mo Tianzun grinned. "System's ba— I mean my Powers are back. like infinite, limitless, powerful"
'ohh, that's close. I forgot, I didn't tell them about the system yet' Tianzun said on his mind
There was silence.
Then Fenglan screamed.
"YOU WHAT?!"
"You're infinite now?" Jiang Fenglie stood up so fast he knocked over a bowl. "Like infinite-infinite?!"
"What the hell does that even mean!?"
"Should I be worried?"
"Can you vaporize people with your sneeze now?!"
"Do you still need to poop?"
That last one came from Shuiyun, who looked oddly concerned.
Tianzun sipped tea. "I haven't tested that yet."
"Oh gods," Fenglan whispered, visibly shaking. "We're traveling with a ticking bomb."
Zhenhai leaned over to Fenglie and whispered, "Do you think if we put him in a spiritual jar, he'll explode less often?"
Tianzun raised one elegant brow. "I can hear you."
"Sorry!"
"I wasn't!"
Shuiyun squinted at him. "So... do you still love Longxuan? Or are you gonna fly off and turn into a cosmic spirit of chaos now?"
Mo Tianzun blinked. "What kind of fanfiction have you been reading?"
"I wrote it myself," Shuiyun said proudly, holding up a poorly sketched scroll. "Look, it has you glowing and laughing maniacally on top of a moon."
Tianzun deadpanned. "Give me that."
"No."
"Give it."
Huayin finally intervened, gently rubbing his temples. "Alright, children. Breathe. If Mo Tianzun is back in full power, then that means the real game is about to start."
"Yes," Tianzun said seriously now. "Something in the Northern Lands is waking up. And this time… I intend to face it with all of you."
Fenglan straightened. "Wait, we're going with you?!"
"Yes?"
Zhenhai slowly put a talisman to his own forehead. "Bury me now."
Fenglie rubbed his temples. "I haven't even told my mother goodbye…"
"But—" Shuiyun interjected, "—that means we're like, the legendary crew of the most powerful being in the world now."
"Sounds about right."
Huayin turned, tail swishing behind him, "So what now.....?"
Tianzun's smile faded into something softer, thoughtful. "Now… we eat. Then we pack. Then we bring snacks."
"...That's it?" Jiang Fenglie said.
"Well," Tianzun added, standing, "And then we march into possibly the most dangerous, chaotic journey of our lives. But with matching robes this time."
Everyone:
"........"
Fenglan stood slowly. "You had me at snacks."

Later That Night...
Longxuan returned from the town carrying a sack of fresh peaches and some sweet wine.
He was greeted by utter chaos.
The Liu Twins were arguing over who got to carry Mo Tianzun's sword.
Fenglie was standing in a chalk circle reading a "Protection Against Tianzun's Random Mood Swings" charm book.
Huayin was polishing his tail in the corner while Shuiyun was sketching "Tianzun the Infinite" on the walls in rainbow ink.
And Tianzun?
He sat in the middle, sipping tea and looking far too pleased.
Longxuan exhaled slowly.
"I was gone for five hours," he muttered.
Tianzun turned to him with a soft grin. "Welcome home."
Longxuan walked over, kissed his forehead, and handed him a peach.
"They've all gone mad, haven't they?"
"Yes," Tianzun whispered. "But they're my madness."
And Longxuan laughed.
