The Conjuring: Exorcising The Nun at the Beginning!

Chapter 15: The Nun Finally Ended?

Chapter 14 - The Nun Finally Ended?

Looking at the terrifying appearance of Valak, Sister Irene instinctively hid behind Roy in fear.

She tightly held the vial containing the Blood of Christ in her hand, her heart echoing with the words Roy had just spoken.

She waited anxiously.

Valak glared at them. Its carefully laid plans, nurtured over an untold amount of time, had been destroyed by Roy.

With a piercing scream, she lunged forward.

The ten long, black claws slashed toward Roy.

Only Roy possessed the power to harm It.

If Valak could eliminate him, Sister Irene would be powerless.

As Valak charged, Roy pushed Sister Irene aside.

"Stay back!" he ordered firmly.

After all, Sister Irene was an ordinary human, without any power to exorcise demons.

Roy stood his ground and met Valak's attack.

The stigmata on his right palm glowed, its power intensifying with every drop of blood that flowed from it.

The power grew stronger, and the burning sensation more intense, reaching a near-boiling point.

Were it not for the immunity granted by the stigmata, Roy would have no doubt that his palm would have been consumed by the heat.

Summoning all his strength, Roy engaged Valak in a stalemate.

Their faces were mere inches apart as they fought, neither yielding.

Valak let out a guttural roar, its horrifying visage contorting with rage. Suddenly, a snake emerged from her mouth, its fangs poised to strike Roy.

However at the last moment, he released his grip and rolled away, positioning himself behind.

Before Valak could react, Roy leaped onto it.

With his right hand, now with the power of the stigmata and blood of Christ, he pressed against Valak's eyes.

SSS–!

The sound of sizzling flesh filled the air as black smoke rose, accompanied by a nauseating stench.

Valak howled in pain, clawing at Roy with its sharp nails, trying desperately to dislodge him.

Despite its efforts, Roy clung to Valak like a relentless shadow.

Although Valak was temporarily immobilized, the demon's sharp claws raked across Roy's body, leaving deep, bloody gashes.

The most severe wounds were on his right arm, shredding his sleeve and leaving him bloodied.

Roy knew he couldn't hold Valak for long.

Valak was one of the 72 demons of hell, not an adversary easily defeated.

However, Roy shouted, "Now, Sister Irene!"

Hearing his cry, Sister Irene snapped to action.

She unscrewed the glass vial containing the Blood of Christ and rushed forward.

As Valak thrashed in vain, unable to escape Roy's grip, Sister Irene poured the Blood of Christ over its ghastly face.

Suddenly—

Boom!

A deafening explosion sent a visible shockwave through the hall.

Roy and Sister Irene were hurled backward, slamming into the walls.

Ignoring his pain, Roy scrambled to his feet and looked toward Valak.

The demon was writhing in agony. The Blood of Christ burned like acid, corroding much of Valak's flesh.

Smoke billowed from its disfigured face as it shrieked in fury.

At that moment, a loud rumble echoed from the adjacent room.

The water in a nearby pool began to swirl violently, draining into cracks at the bottom.

A vortex formed, generating a powerful suction force directed solely at Valak.

Realizing its fate, Valak's twisted expression turned to one of defiance.

Despite the pain, the demon turned its half-melted face toward Roy and pointed a finger at him, as if to curse him.

Roy couldn't understand the demon language, but he didn't need to.

He knew she was swearing revenge.

Moments later, the pull grew stronger, and Valak was dragged into the adjacent room.

The door slammed shut behind, and a blood-curdling scream echoed through St. Carta Monastery.

Then, silence.

The heavy fog that had shrouded the monastery began to dissipate, revealing the warm glow of the afternoon sun.

The light of dusk bathed the Monastery, marking the end of the ordeal.

"Did we succeed?" Sister Irene asked weakly.

Roy managed a faint smile. "Yes. Valak has been sent back to hell."

Sister Irene's pale face lit up with joy. "We did it! Thank God!"

But her celebration was short-lived.

Roy collapsed against her, his bloodied body unable to hold him up any longer.

"Mr. Roy!" Sister Irene cried, shaking him desperately.

But Roy, unconscious and severely wounded, gave no response.
