The Birth of the New World

Hello hello, to anyone and everyone that has been checking out my story so far!

For starters, here is a drawing of Lain that I made. Fair warning, I am not the best at drawing as I have been out of practice for quite some years now and have only just recently tried getting back into it with the desire to be able to draw my characters and make them feel a bit more real.

For my first character art post, I had wanted to try using AI art generators, but none of them could quite get her right, some of them even going so far as to generate some monstrosities. It was horrible, so I decided to just bite the bullet and post a drawing that I made instead.

Much like my writing, I am actively working to improve my skills with drawing so that I can better try to bring my characters to life. Although, if it becomes necessary or the desire simply hits me in the future, I might hire an artist to make some high-quality pieces.

On to other matters, I would like to thank everyone that has come by to give this story a look so far, to the couple of nice commentors, and to whoever it was that dropped that five-star rating. I might be getting a bit hyped up with the little positive attention that I am getting, but seeing those numbers going up and knowing that there are some people out there that might actually be enjoying my story so far is a HUGE confidence booster.

Posting my creation on here is honestly incredibly scary for me (I haven't even shared it with my family), but I have to say that doing this has made me feel more genuinely happy than I have been in a long time.

And apologies if this thank you comes off as a bit sappy, I should probably save this kind of stuff for when I have more content posted, but the desire to give a big thank you has simply boiled over and I had to do something before I exploded.

Anyways, expect better art to be posted in the future, this one is simply to help give people an idea of how Lain looks as an Imp. She's still human like in appearance, just more demon now.
