The Billionaire’s Secret Bride

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Block Him

A short, commanding message—just a few words, but it carried weight.Even though it came from an unfamiliar number, Celia had a strong feeling who sent it.

"Break up with my nephew."

It had to be Nathaniel Fu.

How did he even get her number?

She turned to Sylvia, her tone calm but eyes cold. "Tell me where my grandmother is."

Sylvia sneered. "Do you think I'm that stupid? If I told you, how would we keep you under control? With your grandmother in our hands, you'll keep obeying."

"Then take a look at this."

Celia pulled out her phone and showed her a photo—Quentin Sun pressing Sylvia down on a hotel bed. The moment Sylvia saw it, her expression changed drastically.

"Where—where did you get that?! Delete it right now!"

Celia's lips curled into a dangerous smile. "If you don't tell me where my grandmother is, I'll send this to Nathaniel. Think about what would happen. Once he finds out you cheated on him, your title as Mrs. Fu will vanish overnight. And with you, the entire Su family will go down."

Sylvia turned pale. She never expected Celia to trap her like this. This woman is too sharp. Too dangerous.

"Don't… don't tell him," Sylvia stammered.

"Then tell me where she is."

Gritting her teeth, Sylvia said, "Room 311, Zhongshan Hospital."

"Thank you," Celia said with a faint smile. "I'm leaving—and I won't be coming back."

"What? You're not coming back?!" Sylvia panicked. Then who's going to share Nathaniel's bed tonight?

That night, Nathaniel Fu returned to the Imperial Garden with his assistant, Secretary Song. In the study, he sat at his desk flipping through documents, his tone low and cool.

"Have you contacted CC?"

"Yes, sir, but they haven't given a definitive response yet," Secretary Song replied respectfully.

Nathaniel frowned. How arrogant.

"Send someone to bring me coffee."

"Yes, sir."

A few minutes later, the study door opened. Aunt Zhou came in with a tray.

"Sir, here's your coffee."

Nathaniel set down his pen and asked, "Where's Celia? I didn't see her when I came back. Is she slacking off again?"

Aunt Zhou hesitated. "…Young Master, the maid—Miss Celia—she resigned."

"Resigned?"

Nathaniel's gaze turned cold.

Did she leave to become Julian's personal maid?

He had warned her twice—once to stay away from Julian, and again to break it off immediately. And now she dared to just walk away?

Nathaniel pulled out his phone and dialed her number.

Zhongshan Hospital

Celia sat quietly at her grandmother's bedside. After two long years, she finally found her.

The woman who had raised her was frail now, her body thin and fragile, her mind dulled by long sleep. She hadn't yet woken.

Celia placed a fragrant herbal pill in her grandmother's mouth and gently held her hand, staying silently by her side.

Her phone buzzed. The same unknown number. Nathaniel.

Why was he calling?

Now that she had her grandmother back, she was free. She didn't need to bow to anyone anymore—not Sylvia, not the Su family, and certainly not Nathaniel Fu.

She wasn't going back to the Imperial Garden. She wasn't going to be anyone's maid ever again.

As for those two nights in his bed, the nights she lost her innocence… she would treat them as a dream.

He never even knew it was her.

She declined the call—and blocked the number.

Ding.

Another message came in, this time from a different number.

"Junior Sister, Nathaniel Fu, the head of the Fu family, is asking if you can make a custom balm to help remove his niece's birthmark. Would you like to respond?"
