Chapter 10 - Layout of Blue Star, Driving the Evolution of All Humanity
Chapter 10: Layout of Blue Star, Driving the Evolution of All Humanity
After receiving all the remaining rewards, Jiang Yi was filled with an extraordinary sensation. The battle experience and cultivation insights from Huang, including years of fighting ferocious beasts, a courageous heart dedicated to protecting humanity, and an unmatched strength, naturally emerge in his mind as if he had cultivated them bit by bit himself.
Jiang Yi’s right hand grasped at the void, imagining holding a sharp, awe-inspiring blade. The room trembled with the energy of his gesture, items crackling in response to his powerful aura.
“It’s hard to believe this martial skill. Is this the famous move created by Huang himself?” Jiang Yi pondered, releasing his grip. The strength of the “Triple Overlord Slash” was undeniable.
Observing it was one thing, but wielding it himself let Jiang Yi truly comprehend Huang’s terrifying abilities. The technique allows successive strikes with exponentially increasing power.
Jiang Yi sensed that Huang’s potential was far from fully realized. Given more opportunities or a more potent body, Huang could indeed have stood against the invasion from the alien spaceship.
Jiang Yi looked at the system panel, pondering over the Devouring Behemoth egg and various strategies for the simulation world.
“I don’t need to worry too much about the development strategy of the simulation world. As long as I keep nurturing Huang, the super genius, significant plot changes and more simulation points will follow.”
His current concern was changing the real world without causing drastic, destructive changes.
Releasing the meteorite virus in the real world would be like killing the goose that laid the golden eggs – an utterly undesirable approach.
Sitting and tapping his fingers on the table, Jiang Yi considered how to gradually transform Earth into a civilization beyond the ordinary.
His ambition was not just for humanity’s survival but to advance human civilization to the center of the universe, making Blue Star a dominant force among the cosmic species.
An idea formed, and Jiang Yi smirked. He had a plan to slowly enhance Earth’s strength without collapsing its civilization.
“System, how many simulation points are needed to exchange for a diluted version of the meteorite virus to cover the entire planet?”
[Response to the host: To exchange and disperse a diluted version of the virus globally requires a total of 10,000 simulation points]
[Do you wish to proceed with the exchange?]
“Confirmed,” Jiang Yi said with a mysterious smile on his face.
He planned to use this diluted virus to trigger a brief period of rapid evolution in the real world’s Blue Star, which, due to its low concentration, wouldnn’t upset humanity’s dominant position.
The next problem he needed to address was how to make all of humanity peacefully accept this change.
“Should I organize a global broadcast? Create a ‘God Space’? Or, like before, directly turn memory copies into dreams?” After much consideration, Jiang Yi decided to tackle the problem from two angles.
On one hand, he planned to randomly select some lucky individuals and implant dreams in them, creating the illusion of accidentally receiving parallel universe memories.
On the other hand, he would create an viewer network to broadcast scenes from the simulated world, allowing people from the real world to witness stories from parallel universes.
As for why this network existed… Jiang Yi didn’t need to explain. People would conjecture many things from the name Viewer Network,’ assuming it’s a gracious act by a higher entity known as ‘The Observer,’ who was bored and wanted Earth’s inhabitants to join in observing parallel universes.
“System, can you materialize my thoughts as I have envisaged them?”
[Yes, it will require 1,000 simulation points to achieve the results the host desires.]
“Then let’s start now. First, set up the website and the dreamscape, and when the time is ripe, release the diluted evolutionary virus,” Jiang Yi said, exhaling lightly.
He could fully imagine the transformative impact this would have on the real world. The world was on the brink of a major reshuffle.
“Raise my hand, and the landscape expands. With a flick, the chess piece falls… This should bring me enough simulation points from the real world,” Jiang Yi imagined holding a chess piece, symbolically placing it at the center of the table, determining the fate of everything.
Turning the ordinary, mundane Blue Star into a low-martial world should bring him tens of thousands of simulation points.
If the next simulation went well, allowing Huang to kill the Three-Clawed Jiao Dragon or even the Devouring Behemoth, he might gather 100,000 points in one go and open a brand new simulation world.
As Jiang Yi mused, the unique website named Viewer Network silently comes into existence, empty except for a few archives with titles and cover images.
“World’s End” depicting human extinction; “Earth Breeding Ground” featuring the alien spaceship exploiting Blue Star’s life; and “Era of Warriors,” where martial artists emerged as top-tier combatants.
Despite its unremarkable appearance, this peculiar website mysteriously became the homepage on many computers and phones, forcefully claiming its presence.
“The number of online users is increasing rapidly,” noted Jiang Yi, observing from his omniscient viewpoint. Viewer Network already attracted tens of thousands of users. However, compared to his goal, this number was still too small.
“To see the real world fully ferment, we probably have to wait for those dreaming to wake up and ‘testify’ to the authenticity of these archives.”
Jiang Yi shook his head, no longer focusing on the Viewer Network. Instead, he began practicing the body tempering technique created by Huang, familiarizing himself with his strengthened body.
