The B mafia (BL)

Chapter 19: An old acquaintance

"Master Ding and Tsun?"

Lian nodded his head," Yes, are they really involved in the killing of innocents?"

Asahi froze at this and Lian instantly regretted asking this and quickly clarified," I just heard a rumour is all."

Asahi's eyes softened a bit before he spoke up," I've been with the two masters for as long as I can remember. I don't know where you heard such rumours from but from what I know, and as far as am concerned, the two masters have never taken any innocent lives."

"Oh.. then what about.."

"The foods here!"

The waiter placed the food on the table, bowed and walked out of sight. Lian cussed silently at the disruption but immediately forgot about it when Asahi placed a plate of food before him.

"The food looks so good, almost like a work of art… am even afraid of eating it," Lian said and Asahi smiled.

Cole scooped a spoonful of the food and brought it to his mouth chewing slowly. He closed his eyes, savouring the flavour and brought a hand to his cheek.

"Mmmh… so good!" he said raising his thumb up.

The three continued eating their meal and once they were done, the waiter who served them placed three glasses of a colourful cocktail on the table.

"Am sorry but we didn't order this," Asahi sternly said and the waiter smiled.

"You didn't order it but someone ordered it for you three."

"Really? Who?"

He turned and pointed to the table a few feet from them where three ladies were seated. The three smiled and winked at them and Asahi looked away.

"Oh… um… okay then," he replied and dismissed the waiter.

"Can we drink it?" Lian asked and Asahi picked a glass and took a careful sip.

"Not bad," he said and both Lian and Cole took a glass each.

Tsun knocked on the door and a faint voice shouted," Come in!"

Tsun turned the door knob and they both walked into the lavish office.

"Ah Tsun, long time no see," Gin said.

Gin was currently the youngest owner of the biggest casino in the country. He was also a business man, and his connections to the business world was what Tsun admired about him. Though he himself had a lot of business companies, he was still really envious of Gin's work. And as if all his achievements were not enough, Gin was also well acquainted in the black market sector.

"Gin my friend, it's been so long right?" Tsun asked and walked towards him.

Gin stood up from his desk and walked towards the approaching Tsun and pulled him into an embrace softly patting his back.

"It's been years and you look like you haven't changed a bit since we last met," Gin teasingly said and Tsun pulled away from him smirking.

"Am still handsome as ever right?"

Gin chuckled and shook his head at this," Confident as always."

Tsun smiled cheekily before turning to Ding," Gin, you've heard of Ding right?"

Gin's gaze rested on Ding and he gave him a brief nod," Hard to forget someone who destroyed one of my companies."

"Ding did what?" Tsun asked confusedly.

"Three years ago, one of my companies was importing some drugs and firearms," Gin began before settling his glare on Ding," and guess who arrived."

Tsun looked at Ding before turning to Gin," There must be some misunderstanding Gin. Three years ago, Ding didn't even have any interest in stealing stuff for the group."

"Is that so?" Gin asked his eyes fixed on Tsun but the question directed to Ding.

Gin let out a sigh and walked back to his desk. He popped open a bottle of wine and filled three glasses. He handed the two a glass each before picking his and drinking from it.

"So, what is it I can do for you?" he asked and Ding was taken a back by the sudden change in topic.

Everything Gin had said was true but Ding did not want Tsun to know that he had once destroyed and killed Gin's men. It was a secret that he dared not tell Tsun besides, Gin was Tsun's long time friend.

"We need your help," Tsun spoke up drawing Ding from his thoughts.

Gin twirled the wine in his glass as he attentively listened to Tsun's narration and once he was done, he looked at the two.

"So that's why," he said and filled his glass once more," if I DO help you, what's in it for me? You know I don't do work for free right?"

He took a sip from his glass and watched the two men before them.

"What do you want as payment for your help?"

Before he could speak, the door burst open and a young man stormed into the room.

"Babe! Am back!"

He stopped mid way once his eyes locked with Tsun's. He frowned and walked towards Gin. Taking a seat on his lap, he turned and looked at Tsun.

"What is he doing here?"

Gin shrugged his broad shoulders and smirked," He missed you so he came to see if you are well."

"Hmph! Who needs that cheater caring?" he asked and Tsun cleared his throat.

"Chess… it has been a while since we last met."

Chess scoffed in annoyance, swung his arms around Gin's neck and buried his head into his neck. Gin carefully lifted Chess's face from his neck and gently rubbed his chin.

"You two have gotten close, haven't you?"

Chess turned and glared at him before furiously replying," So what if we've gotten closer!"

"Sshh…"

Gin stroked his back and Chess huffed and folded his arms across his chest.

"You know Tsun and I are friends right?"

Chess nodded his head and Gin lightly pinched his cheek before turning to Tsun and Ding.

"I'll tell you what I need another time."

Ding sensing that their audience was over, grabbed Tsun's hand and walked out closing the door after them. Once they were out, Chess turned and eyed Gin.

"What do those two want from you?"he asked seriously and Gin playfully pinched his nose," Curious?"

Chess broke free from his grasp and punched his chest. He moved to stand and sensing that he was mad, Gin tightly grabbed onto his waist preventing him from getting up.

"Hey! Let go!"

He struggled to free himself but his strength was no match for Gin. Gin smirked and looked up to Chess's eyes," Are you mad?"

He pout his lips, turned his gaze from him and asked," Why would I be mad?"

Hearing this, Gin chuckled and Chess looked at him. He grabbed Chess's legs and crossed them over his waist.

"I missed you."

Chess's cheeks grew pink as he gasped. He had been dating Gin for a while and his straightforwardness always caught him off guard.

"Um..."

Gin's lips brushed over his ever so lightly that he thought he had imagined it.

"If you're mad at me, you can do whatever you want to me," he stated and Chess caressed his cheek.

"What did you do that made me mad?"

Ding and Tsun made their way down to the restaurant and upon arrival, they were greeted by three drunk men who were still drinking. Tsun rushed towards Asahi who was about to drink from the glass and took it away from him.

"That's enough," he said and Asahi turned to look at him.

"Who…hic… are… you?"
