The Ascension

Chapter 115 – Punished Properly

Sol expected the answer she received from Ava, and made arrangements to have the message ready for when he arrived.

"Ava, if you bite your lip any more than that, you'll make me think it is delicious." Sol said in that silky voice of hers. Ava pouted.

"I can't help it!" She whined a little. "I know he's not my father, but I did spend a long time believing that both him and grandfather were my relatives. I think I knew it for a long time as what father would treat their daughter like he did?" She seemed to sag in the chair she still used.

The poison in her body had been purged, but she hadn't used her legs properly for years. Walking around the house made her extremely tired, as her body was still weak from lack of use. Elena walked over and swept her up into her arms.

"If you have enough time to whine, you have enough time to walk." Elena said, and set her on her feet. Ava growled.

"I just walked around the house!" She started with a strong tone, but still ended up with a whine at the end. Elena smirked.

"A few hours ago, Ava. Come on. Since Sol knows that you want to protect the kingdom, let her do her job." Elena gave Sol another smirk. "If she does it well, I'm sure Nuri will allow her to cuddle with Master tonight." Sol pouted.

"Elena, you're so mean." She crossed her arms under her breasts, and pushed them up. Elena rolled her eyes.

"Be good, Sol. I have fangs too." Elena growled a little, and revealed her own sharp canines, which actually surprised Sol.

"Are they larger than normal, Elena?" Sol asked.

"A bit." She smirked. "Now be good, and I'll bite you later." Sol rolled her eyes.

"Forget it, Elena. I'm not quite hardened enough to have fun with the girls yet. My control is not yet instinctual, and if I'm distracted, I leak." She sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "I better get the letter sent to Aros." She shivered slightly.

"I want to spend some time with Salia and Clover tonight." She sighed again, this time a bit sadly. "Every one of my daughters have a bride. Except for me." Elena shivered as she felt a glare focus on Sol. Sol looked up in alarm.

"Oh oh. Master has been silent for nearly two thousand years, and now that she's here, and I'm near her, I forgot I was not alone anymore." She got down on her knees.

"Forgive me, Master." She bowed with her head to the floor, but was pulled off her feet by a strong gust of wind.

'Sol. Send the response, and go sleep with Salia and Clover. I will deal with you tonight.' She heard the voice, as did all within the manor. Elena shivered again.

"Sol, why do you forget Master so easily?" Ava asked. "I spend time with our sisters, but Master is my main wife. I know that, and so do the rest of us. Why do you forget it so easily?" Sol pouted.

"I don't know." Sol said honestly. Again, a voice spoke within their minds.

'Do not berate her. She is older than all the kingdoms on this side of the mountain, and used to being alone with everyone around her.' Nuldeir said softly. 'When she is able to soak her bones in her element, and harden her essence, she'll come to the void, and spend time with us.' Sol frowned.

"Us, Master? That's not the first time you've spoken as though you are a group, not just one." Sol said, and looked at the bed where Nadya currently cushioned Aila's body. Nuldeir's eyes appeared alongside Aconia's, and two voices spoke.

'You think with a human's mind, Sol. We are much more than what you see, or understand. Aila rests on the bed, but also in the void. She is in the void, not in the void, rests in the void, but never alone.' Four more pairs of eyes appeared at different points around the room, several feet in diameter, and high enough to be quite imposing.

'We are Aila, your Master, but that is not all we are.'

"Mother, what happened?" Salia asked as she sat beside her, along with Clover, Giel, and Giselle in the carriage along with her.

"Yes, mother." Giel asked as well. "I felt Master's presence, and it was a lot stronger than normal. Did you upset her?" Sol shook her head, and let out a soft sigh.

"It was Master, and at the same time, not just Master." Sol closed her eyes. "Master is a unique existence, and I still do not fully understand her, though we have the longest relationship among her wives." Sol put her elbow on her knee, and rested her head on her hand. She found that this posture was not comfortable, so she flung herself back against the seat cushions and growled softly.

"Master is not just the woman who sleeps on the bed, nor is she just the one you feel from time to time." She shivered a bit. "Master seems to be six or more different people, and each is as strong as the other." Giel frowned slightly.

"Mother, are you mistaken?" Giel asked, but saw her shake her head. She pursed her lips, and closed her eyes. As Nuldeir had given her an instinct that if she wanted to know something, she could ask, Giel did just that.

'Yes, little one?' Nuldeir asked. 'Ah, you wonder about what your mother said. That is easy. Each of us represents the elements, both the basic, and the advanced, as humans call them. We call them Alku and Syy, Origin and Reason. I represent Darkness and Death. My sister represents both Life and Light. I have four other sisters, and all of us are referred to as Primordial Guardians.'

"Master, what about the seventh one?" Giel asked. Nuldeir smiled gently.

'She is the Origin, little one. We are the Reason. She is our center, our beginning, and our end.' Nuldeir gently stroked her core, and make a pleasant shiver go down her spine, as well as send a sliver of death elements deep within her. It was such a pleasurable sensation, Giel could barely keep her senses.

'I can not say anything else about her, little one. Do not ask either. Keep your mind on your duties, grow stronger, take care of your mate, and listen to your mother. Understand?' Nuldeir gave her a small warning, but she didn't need to. Giel was quite obedient, and a lot different from who she was back in the old world.

She no longer misbehaved, nor drove her sisters to fear her lack of control, and protect their mates from her hunger.

As she was over a hundred years old, Nuldeir felt no discomfort in stroking her core, and sending the girl into a state of ecstatic bliss. Giselle hugged her lightly, and smiled.

'Make sure you stay with her, Giselle.' Nuldeir lightly scolded, or encouraged her, depending upon the one who witnessed it. Giselle felt it, and though it felt like a soft scolding, it also felt like an gentle encouragement.

"I will, Master. Is she alright?" Giselle asked.

'She is in fine shape. Each night, encourage her to focus her element, and grow stronger. You are an important part of her life, and of the Sril. When it is time, you will know why.' Nuldeir smiled, and reached into her body, and lightly stroked the small pebble inside her.

Salia and Clover watched how the two looked quite silly, and her mother seemed a bit lost. Salia's eyes soon crossed as she felt a gentle probe of her core.

'See you tonight, my lovely consort.' Nuldeir chuckled at her ear as Salia's cheeks seemed to change color, something she hadn't done other than in her Master's presence.

'Look after her properly, Clover. When its time, both of you shall serve in the void.' The promise made Clover shiver, but also smile slightly.

Her mate loved their Master, and she could feel the reason why. She soon groaned as Salia bit her chest, and injected some of her venom, sharing both her pain, and pleasure.

Clover wondered if she would ever get used to this wonderful life she now lived.
