{Virgil, wake up. Raven and the other two should be waking up soon} Sabastian said waking Virgil from his sleep

"mmm...Thank you Sabastian," Virgil said sitting up and rubbing his eyes

Looking at Raven, he saw that she looked healthy again and all the black veins had receded. With a small smile, he stood up and walked out of the room.

"Ah, brother you awake. Is there anything you need?" Jinwoo asked

"No, I am fine. Go check on the other two am make sure they are still getting better." Virgil replied

With that Jinwoo gave a small nod and walked away. Staying in the hall the butler from before Sam began walking towards Virgil.

"Sam, right?"

"Yes, is there anything I can help you with Lord Virgil?" Sam replied

"Yes bring breakfast to my two friends in the recovery room and one more to my room as soon as you can please," Virgil said 

"Very well, I will have it brought out as soon as possible," Sam said with a bow before walking away

(Hmm I should think about getting a butler for myself,) Virgil thought walking back into his room

(Master these two seem fine. They look to be sleeping," Jinwoo relayed

(That's good just keep watching them until they wake up) Virgil said sitting back in his chair

While he waited in his chair he saw Raven being to move. First, her finger twitched then she turned her head a few times. As she did her face changed from calm to one of fear and she began screaming.

"N-No...No get away. GET AWAY!!!" shooting away she launched an orb of darkness but Virgil used his shield to stop it from doing any damage

"It's okay Raven. Breathe...you're safe." Virgil said in a low tone while holding her hands

"V-virgil....Wh-What happened? My father he..." Raven said struggling to gather her thoughts

"Don't worry your father is gone," Virgil replied

"What about Zatanna and Wally?" 

"They are both fine. Just resting right now," 

"He...he took control of me...I could feel him trying to break the seal," Raven said placing her hand on her chest

"I know. I'm sorry I wasn't there...to protect you...to protect all of you," Virgil said with anger in his eyes

"No don't blame yourself. You still saved us. You still stopped my father," Raven said squeezing Virgil's hand gently

"...About your father...There is something I need to tell you. He damaged the seal. Instead of your birthday we now have two weeks until it's broken," 

"...W-what? No no no this can't be true. Two weeks I'm not ready I can't face him in two weeks," Raven said slightly panicked

"Don't worry I am working on a way to deal with him right now I need you to rest and gather your strength. I will be back by tonight," Virgil 

"Where are you going? What is your plan? And where are we this isn't the bunker?" Raven asked

"No, we are at the house of the people helping me. I will explain my plan later, just know you can trust these people," Virgil replied

"...Alright but where are you going?" 

"Azaroth. I need to look through their archives," Virgil replied

"What? I'm coming with you," Raven said trying to stand up

"No. Stay here and recover," Virgil said pushing her back down

"No, I already said I'm coming with you. This is my problem that I have to face. I can't leave it to you," Raven replied pushing his hand away and standing up

(Well she is determined) Virgil thought with a small laugh

"Alright, I will bring you along. For no,w stay here and rest I have some business to finish here. We will leave in a few hours," Virgil replied walking to the door 

Opening it he saw Sam waiting there with a tray of food about to knock on the door.

"Ah I was just bout to knock," Sam said with a smile

"Thank you, Sam. The food is for her. If she needs anything else, please get it for her," Virgil said placing a hand on his shoulder

"As you wish Lord Virgil," Sam replied

Walking out of the room Virgil made his way to the lab to start the advancements.

(Lord Virgil...what happened while he was gone?) Raven wondered

"Hmm, young lady you seem to be in deep thought. Is there something you need?" Sam asked

"No...Actually, can you tell me everything that Virgil was doing while he was here?" Raven asked

"I'm sorry but I should not be divulging information about the Lords and their work," Sam replied 

"Please...I-I need to know why what he has been doing," Raven said grabbing Sam's hands

Seeing the desperation on her face Sam looked around for a second.

"Very well I know that Lord Virgil cares deeply for you and you seem to feel the same way so I will only say this once," Sam said Nervously

"T-the same way. I don't know about that,' Raven replied shyly

"No need to hide it from me. I can read people I can tell deep down you also care about Lord Virgil and his safety," Sam laughed

(Care about him? I mean I do as a friend and I don't want to see him get hurt because of me but I don't know if I would go that far," Raven thought deeply
