The anomaly in the Kamen Rider Universe

Chapter 204: Backstory {112}

As Sakura's fist collided with Akaishi, he felt a surge of pain unlike anything he had experienced before. It was as if her blow had bypassed all his defenses, striking directly at his core. Each punch she landed seemed to tear through him with an intensity that made him feel as if his very essence was being unraveled.

Akaishi's mind raced, trying to comprehend what was happening. How could this woman, who had been struggling just moments before, suddenly possess such overwhelming power? He hadn't done anything that should have awakened such rage within her, at least not that he could recall. Perhaps she was driven by the sight of the battlefield, by the suffering of those around her? Could her heroic spirit have pushed her to this level of strength?

But as Akaishi desperately tried to rationalize it, the truth was far more unsettling. Sakura's newfound power wasn't born out of a sense of justice or a desire to protect. It was born out of something far more personal, something that had taken root deep within her: jealousy.

This burning jealousy, ignited by the sight of Miyuki kissing Aaron, had awakened something within Sakura that she didn't fully understand. It fueled her every strike, turning her emotions into raw, destructive force. Even as she unleashed her fury on Akaishi, a part of her struggled to comprehend why she was acting this way. She didn't remember seeing Aaron in this light before... or did she?

pov change

Genta and Vail clashed with ferocity, their fists meeting with a thunderous impact that sent shockwaves rippling through the air. Genta's muscles strained as he pushed back against his demonic counterpart, sweat mixing with blood as he gritted his teeth and forced Vail to retreat a step. But Vail wasn't one to be easily deterred. He responded with a savage uppercut that Genta barely managed to block, the force of the blow driving him back as his arms trembled under the pressure.

Vail's eyes burned with a mixture of rage and pain as he launched a flurry of strikes, each one aimed with deadly precision. Genta twisted his body, narrowly avoiding a fist aimed at his ribs, and retaliated with a powerful kick that connected with Vail's side. The demon staggered, but recovered quickly, sweeping Genta's legs out from under him in a move that sent him crashing to the ground.

Genta rolled to his feet just in time to block another of Vail's attacks, their arms locked in a struggle for dominance. He could feel the power coursing through Vail's body, a mirror of his own strength, but tinged with a darkness that made it even more dangerous. With a roar, Genta broke free, driving his elbow into Vail's chest with enough force to shatter stone. Vail grunted in pain, stumbling back, but his lips curled into a bitter smile as he lashed out with a spinning kick that caught Genta on the side of the head, sending him reeling.

As they fought, Vail's voice cut through the chaos, filled with accusation and bitterness. "You abandoned me, Genta! You left me to rot while you moved on with your life!"

Genta winced at the words, the guilt cutting deeper than any of Vail's blows. He ducked under a vicious punch and countered with a rapid series of jabs, each one finding its mark on Vail's torso. "I know," Genta panted, his voice strained as he delivered a heavy blow to Vail's gut. "I'm sorry... I should never have turned my back on you."

The demon snarled, swiping at Genta's head with enough force to break bone, but Genta managed to dodge, the strike just grazing his cheek. "Sorry? You think that's enough?" Vail hissed, driving his knee into Genta's stomach. Genta gasped for air, but before Vail could press the advantage, Genta grabbed his arm and twisted it, throwing Vail to the ground.

"I can't change what happened," Genta said, his voice filled with a mixture of regret and resolve. "But I won't abandon you again."

With a final burst of strength, Genta raised his fist high, channeling all the power he had left into one devastating blow. He hesitated for the briefest of moments, looking into Vail's eyes, seeing not just the demon, but a reflection of his own mistakes and regrets. Then, with a shout of determination, he brought his fist down, striking Vail with the full force of his resolve.

The impact triggered a massive explosion of energy, the ground beneath them shaking as the force of the blow reverberated through the battlefield. For a moment, everything was consumed by light and sound, the world reduced to a maelstrom of power.

As the dust began to settle, Vail's voice echoed faintly in the aftermath, filled with a weariness that Genta had never heard before. "I don't forgive you... but I'll tolerate you."

With those final words, Vail's form began to dissolve, the dark energy that had surrounded him flowing back into Genta's body. Genta felt the familiar presence of his demon returning, the two of them becoming one once more. But this time, there was no animosity, only a tense, uneasy truce.

As Aaron lay on the bed, his body still and vulnerable, Miyuki stood beside him, her cold blue eyes fixed on his weakened form. The thought crossed her mind that she could end him right now, while he was defenseless. The idea lingered, a cold, logical calculation of power and necessity. But she dismissed it just as quickly. There was no point. Aaron had proven something to her today—something about his strength, his resolve. He had reached maturity, at least for his race, and she had no choice but to accept the reality that she would be bound to a human for the rest of her life. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but she would grit her teeth and endure it.

Her gaze shifted to Rui, who was curled up next to Aaron, whispering comforting words into his ear. The little girl's presence was like a balm, soothing the raw edges of the chaos that had just unfolded. Rui's soft voice, filled with concern and affection, contrasted sharply with the turmoil that had consumed them just moments before.

Meanwhile, within Aaron's mindscape, a different scene played out. A woman of ethereal beauty, her eyes shimmering like the cosmos, sat beside him. Her delicate fingers gently stroked his hair as his body trembled with fear. Abi, the being who had taken on this maternal role in his life, held him close, her expression pained as she whispered soothing words.

"It's alright, Aaron," she murmured, her voice a soft melody. "It was just a nightmare. You're safe now."

Despite her calm exterior, Abi's heart ached as she looked at him. She knew why his reaction had been so extreme, why the nightmare had gripped him with such intensity. It was the scars of his past, the deep wounds that had been inflicted upon him by those who should have protected him. Abi, a being of pure and good energy, felt an unfamiliar and unsettling emotion—an intense anger towards those of her kind who had done this to him.

As she held him, Abi's thoughts drifted back to the first time she had met Aaron, when he was just a child. She remembered his bright, innocent smile, a smile so pure it could outshine the sun. He had been so caring, so full of life. It pained her to see how much he had changed, how the world had twisted that innocence into something darker.

"My poor little marshmallow," Abi whispered, her voice tinged with sadness as she cradled him in her arms. She wished she could do more, wished she could take on a physical form and protect him from the world. But for now, all she could do was stay with him in his mindscape, offering what comfort she could as he fought his demons.

Meanwhile Aaron himself was having flashback of the past, memory that he had long buried were coming back to the surface.

Flashback....

Aaron looked at the new spaceship that he was in with childlike eyes,he started to look around with pure joy in his eyes, sure this might be a punishment but he alway try his best to see the best in people in things so with his childlike eyes,he never though they would send him a child on something dangerous.

Sure they might consider him an anomaly but they wouldn't be that heartless and try to murder a child would they.

Aaron walked around the ships looking at all the new gadgets and stuff that he had access to it,it all looked so cool to his 8 year old self.

His eyes just scanned everything as he looked around, the man that was with him just looked at the child that was showcasing emotion with disgust.

The man looked at Aaron before opening his mouth and saying"This ship is now your prison, figure out how it work"

The man then left without telling the child how the machine even works.

"I don't know how it work though"Aaron asked with a confused face, his face brimming with innocence.

"Useless and worthless and now you are dumb"The man said, looking at the child before walking up to the child and giving him the bare basics on how it works.

"I need to wipe the germs"The man said washing his hands after he finish talking with the child he then spray something on his body saying "I need to get rid of this shitty smell"

He then left the ship leaving the child there looking confused,he did not know why the man looked at him with such hatred, what did he do to him.

Maybe he didn't eat breakfast that day, that may be it. Even he gets grumpy when he doesn't eat breakfast.

Aaron looked around the ships and looked at all the buttons, somewhere on the ship there was a note that said "Go to the celestial"

Aaron eyes shined with happiness,he would get to see some real celestial he was so excited,he heard that they were a good race and he couldnt wait until he met them.

As Aaron looked at all the buttons on this advance ship,he felt some sort of unknow force guiding him as he started to press some buttons, somehow someway,he had managed to set the ship course to the celestial palace.

He then pressed a button before the ship moved at speed far greater than light and shifted into hyper space.

Usually when pilots activate this mode, they are usually sitting and wearing a seatbelt but the child did not know any better and so as as soon as the ship started to fly,he was sent flying but some unknown force kept him from hitting anything that would hurt him to badly.

He hit himself while he was flung around and the pained sensation he felt made him cry,he wept and continue to do so for some time,he then heard somebody voice through the speaker saying "Shut up,you annoying brat"

"Bu..t it....hurt"Aaron said while crying, his eyes full of tears and his voice shaking, why did he need to stop,it hurt.

"And"The voice said clearly indifferent from the words of the young child.

"Bu..t my..han..ds is...bleeding"He said with a bit of snot falling out of his noses.

"Suck it up"The voice said to which Aaron try his hardest and try to not cry maybe if he was brave they wouldn't be so mean to him.

The young child stop crying and the voice on the speaker just said "finally, the anomaly stop talking"

Aaron looked at the hologram that had formed infront of him and he wanted to cry once again, why did they have to be so mean to him.

The child walked to his room pouting as he did not want to speak to this mean adult,he walked to his room and closed the door behind him,as he open the door to his room he realize that his room was 18 feet by 18 feet,it was huge.

He never expected to have such a big room to himself,he even saw pillows,he smiled brightly and jump on the bed,it felt so warm and bouncy.

This was the best bed he has been on for a while and his room was the biggest room he was allowed to be in for a long time.

Aaron looked at the ceiling before looking at the stars outside it was so pretty,he reached out his small hands and tryed to grab one.

He felt some sort of connection with him and the universe,it may have been his childlike imagination but he felt connected to it as if he could listen to the stars and protect them from harm.

The sound of planet dying and the sound of stars calling for help were heard by the child but he could not figure out what they were trying to say.

Aaron blinked twice before sleeping while looking at the stars, his peaceful face staring at the stars, his mind drifting into dreamland, maybe this wasn't going to be so bad afterall.

Time skip

Aaron woke up groaning a bit as the alarm in the ship woke him up,apparently they had arrive a the destination he was supposed to be at.

He woke up feeling a bit stiff,he did not want to get out of bed as it was incredibly comfortable instead he just wanted to relax.

This bed was the most comfy bed he could ever sleep on,"I will build a pillow forth when this mission is over" Aaron said smiling even though the idea of building a pillow fort for fun sounded primitive,he wanted to,he just learned about the history of the knights and he couldnt wait to play out.

He was excited and very giddy, his innocent smile shining bright as he walked out of his room,he then walked toward the bathroom before using looking at the toothbrush that he was given.

It was a very old model and it looked like the one the people in ancient time use,if he remember correctly this was used in 2000AD,that was a long time in the past,he took the brush and the toothpick and with child like imagination tried to taste the toothpaste.

He took a bite out of it and he tasted a minty or tangy taste in his mouth. It was rather unpleasant but he was just curious.

"How do i use this"He mutter to himself innocently as he apply the toothpaste to his toothbruise and started to apply it to his teeth.

"Maybe its for my teeth as it call tooth paste, maybe its a paste for the tooth"Aaron said as he started to bruises his teeth with child like wonder,he was doing it very fast and he was looking at his figure in the mirror.

After finishing bruising his teeth for a solid 10minutes,he stopped before spitting it out as the toothpaste said to not swallow it,he wiped his mouth cleaned before smiling at the mirror.

"Mom look my teeth are white"Aaron said excited but as he turn around he remember he was alone.

A sad smile appeared on his face,he forgot that his parents were not here,he was quite sad.

He wanted to cry but he could not,the emotion welling up in his eyes were clearly seen by anyone looking at the small child.

He did not like being alone,he wanted to be with other people,he felt like a part of him was missing but he stopped himself,he needed to be brave.

He atleast hope that the little girl that he saved was alright, she almost died and he felt proud that he saved her.

He was a big boy.

A/N....welp...time to see what that incident was.
