The Almighty Diva: Reborn to be Worshipped

Chapter 33: Reaping What You Sow

On the Qi Hang class, Mo Xueer had been obsessively monitoring the school forum, her eyes glued to every new post and comment.

She was more than satisfied. With these two explosive threads now live, she couldn't wait to see how Ji Chuxing would manage to survive at Nan High School. The Mo family might have some influence in Nan City, but their standing wasn't particularly strong—they still relied heavily on others for support. And above all, Mo Xueer knew she needed to maintain a good relationship with Wen Xinyue. Though Wen Xinyue hadn't said a word, Mo Xueer could sense that she didn't approve of this so-called "sister" who had suddenly appeared.

No matter how well she hid it in public, girls always understood other girls, didn't they?

From the day Ji Chuxing stepped foot into Nan High, Mo Xueer had made it her mission to target her. She never expected Ji Chuxing to show up at school today. Clearly, she must have found herself a powerful backer. Otherwise, why would Wen Xinyue have looked so surprised when she saw her this morning?

The Wen family obviously hadn't taken any action yesterday. After all, why would they waste their resources on someone completely unrelated to them?

This time, Mo Xueer was certain: after getting into a fight and being taken to the police station, there was no way Ji Chuxing could continue at Nan High. And with Zhou Sixue's incident dragging Class 16 into the mess, Lu Xing and Zhao Feifei—both known for their short tempers—wouldn't tolerate it either.

Ji Chuxing might not even be able to stay in Nan City, let alone Nan High. Without lifting a finger, Mo Xueer believed she could effortlessly eliminate Ji Chuxing. Once this was done, her relationship with Wen Xinyue would only improve. By aligning herself with the Wen family, the Mo family would naturally rise in prominence, just as water rises when a boat is lifted by the tide.

Feeling smug, Mo Xueer watched the forum posts pile up, each one fueling her satisfaction.

Around her, whispers filled the air.

"Someone like Ji Chuxing claiming to be Wen Xinyue's sister? It's an insult to our school beauty's reputation."

"Exactly. How shameless can you get? Why doesn't she just drop out already?"

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. I heard she's been hanging out with thugs outside school. Disgusting."

Mo Xueer felt a surge of triumph. She decided to add a few more comments, subtly hinting that Ji Chuxing must have a wealthy benefactor to get out of the police station so quickly. She wanted to further tarnish Ji Chuxing's name.

But when she refreshed the page, the two explosive threads from earlier were gone. They simply wouldn't load.

Clearly, others around her noticed too, and murmurs spread like wildfire.

In place of the explosive posts, a new official notice from the school had appeared, addressing the recent events.

The notice clarified that Ji Chuxing had been assisting in an important investigation, and that Zhou Sixue's father's case was a miscarriage of justice—he was actually a victim. It also explained that the beating of Qi Hang students was related, and while Ji Chuxing's methods may have been misguided, she had acted to protect her classmates. For this, she was praised by the school and awarded a 3,000-yuan bravery award.

This sudden reversal left everyone stunned. The school had personally intervened with an official statement—a first for the usually gossip-filled forum where anonymity reigned supreme.

Under the post, waves of backlash flooded in.

"What a disgrace. The forum has always been full of rumors, but nothing like this before. Someone clearly has ulterior motives."

"The school always says rumors stop with the wise. I suspect someone is deliberately spreading misinformation. Why else would all the hot topics revolve around Ji Chuxing?"

"Poor Ji Chuxing. She must have offended someone."

"Luckily, I didn't join in the insults. Poor Zhou Sixue. Whoever posted those lies without knowing the truth deserves to face consequences. If this hadn't been clarified quickly, it could've ruined lives."

Suddenly, gasps erupted around Mo Xueer. Everyone turned pale, frantically tapping on their phones, only to grow even paler.

"It won't delete!"

"What the hell? Why can't I delete it?"

Some threw their phones to the ground in frustration, and many followed suit.

Mo Xueer had no idea what was happening, but the crowd seemed to figure it out. Their gazes turned to her, filled with anger and hatred.

"This is all her fault! If it weren't for her, none of this would've happened!"

"I can't believe Mo Xueer is such a manipulative green tea! Yes, she misled us. If she hadn't spread those lies, we wouldn't have been tricked into saying those things!"

"Trash! She should be expelled from Nan High!"

"Rumor-monger! She deserves punishment—legal punishment!"

"She's an adult; she should go to jail!"

Mo Xueer's face drained of color. Instinctively, she tapped on her phone, exiting the school's official notice. To her horror, the two explosive threads that had vanished reappeared. Panic set in as she clicked on one, her eyes widening in shock.

Her name and student ID were displayed as the original poster. Every comment below included names and student IDs, along with profile pictures replaced by their student ID photos. There were no exceptions.

All anonymity had been stripped away.

With their real identities exposed, there was no mistaking who had posted what.

For the first time, the rumor-mongers and keyboard warriors tasted the bitter pill of accountability. The virtual world was no longer a lawless haven.

Mo Xueer opened another thread—the one claiming Ji Chuxing had been arrested. The original poster's name had also changed to hers. Even the thread about Qi Hang students being beaten due to Ji Chuxing had resurfaced, now pinned to the front page.

Meanwhile, the school's official notice had been pushed down to fourth place.

Every single post had been de-anonymized, leaving no room for denial. People tried to delete their comments, but it was futile. They no longer had access to their accounts and could only watch helplessly as their vile words were displayed next to their real names.

When anonymous, no one thought twice about their hurtful words. But now, seeing those same words attached to their true identities felt like being drenched in filth, exposing every ounce of shame and ugliness.

They felt crucified.

Especially those who had spewed the most venomous remarks—most of whom were from the Qi Hang class. Despite their polished appearances, their true colors were revealed in an instant.

The Qi Hang students were on the verge of collapse. Many came from influential families and had already secured spots in top universities. This scandal would leave an indelible stain on their records, impossible to erase.

And it was all because of Mo Xueer.

One particularly furious student snatched her phone: "How dare you drag us into this mess!"

---

The students of Class 16 weren't exactly thrilled, but they found the situation ironic.

"So it was Mo Xueer, huh? I wondered who it was," Zhao Feifei sneered.

Ji Chuxing glanced at her, puzzled. Who was Mo Xueer, and why did Zhao Feifei remember her? She hadn't paid much attention to the Qi Hang students during her time there.

Zhao Feifei explained, "She's Wen Xinyue's lapdog, always sucking up and stepping on others to elevate herself. That 'school beauty' title? All thanks to her relentless promotion. Please, I'm gorgeous, and I don't call myself a school beauty. How dare Wen Xinyue, that fake innocent act, claim it?"

Ji Chuxing nodded approvingly. "You're right. You are beautiful."

Zhao Feifei beamed. "In my book, Ji God is the prettiest!"

Their mutual flattery drew eye rolls from the surrounding students.

Zhao Feifei declared, "Leave this to me."

Cracking her knuckles, she added, "I'll take on anyone—guys or girls!"

Ji Chuxing patted her shoulder. "Calm down. Someone will handle it."

Zhao Feifei blinked. "Huh?"

Ji Chuxing continued, "As students, we should treat each other equally and kindly. Our words and actions should reflect politeness and respect."

Zhao Feifei blinked again. "Huh?"

Why did that sound familiar?

Then Zhou Sixue chimed in, reciting, "We should queue politely, maintain public hygiene, cherish public property, and uphold the law. Article six of the student code..."

Pausing, she stood up and turned to Ji Chuxing. "Ji God, I want to pursue legal action. Is that okay?"

Ji Chuxing had repeatedly been slandered for helping her. Even if she were made of clay, she had a temper. People could say what they wanted about her, but not about Ji Chuxing!

Zhao Feifei snapped out of her confusion. "Absolutely, Little Sisi! Not only should the school expel them, but we should sue them too! They're adults—they should bear legal responsibility. Don't worry, I'll find the best lawyer for you!"

"I'll help too!" Lu Xing suddenly stood up, his gaze fixed on Zhou Sixue. "Find the very best lawyer!"
