A forest of magical beasts inside the academy, designed for student training.
In a wide-open space within it, Hajoon, Lee Jooah, and Riella stood.
Riella, looking around with satisfaction, stretched out her hand.
"This looks good. But to be safe..."
Magical power, green in hue, streamed from Riella’s hand. It began to shape a thin barrier in the form of a cube.
The barrier slowly expanded, growing large enough to encase Hajoon, Lee Jooah, and Riella herself.Once the barrier was complete, Riella nodded in satisfaction and said to Hajoon,
"I made this barrier in case we damage the area. It won’t break easily."
"You’re very thorough."
"With the one we’re about to summon, it’s only necessary."
Riella then turned to Lee Jooah and said,
"Now, show us your power."
"My power?"
"Yes, the power he bestowed on you."
Lee Jooah hesitated, but then she agreed.
A moment later, a striking white aura began to radiate from Lee Jooah, enveloping her. It was Fenrir’s aura.
Even though it was magic, it had a touch of sanctity.
Riella, who had been watching quietly, looked at Lee Jooah and said,
"You know that the power you’re using now is less than half of his, don’t you?"
"Yes."
"Right. In terms of body size, you only have the strength of his tail. So, can you imagine what would happen if we summoned his real form here?"
"Um..."
"He would likely try to eat you."
Lee Jooah swallowed nervously, her anxiety clear.
Seeing this, Riella gave a comforting smile, patted her head, and said,
"Don’t worry. That won’t happen."
"Okay... yes!"
"Good, let’s get started. Since you can’t summon all of him at once, start by bringing his head here. I’ll guide you through the process."
Lee Jooah nodded. She closed her eyes, took deep, measured breaths, and began to concentrate.
Fenrir’s energy intensified, radiating stronger from her.
"It’s coming," Riella’s soft words echoed as the spreading energy coalesced into a giant circle.
This circle was a portal to somewhere else.
Energy surged like a wave through the portal. Then an enormous eye, radiating a multitude of colors, appeared.
The divine beast’s form was only partly visible, but its aura was fierce and untamed.
The portal started to slowly expand.
Beyond it was a white wolf, its head towering over five meters tall.
Just the head was so huge, it could pass into the real world through the portal.
"It’s still just a cub."
The more shocking fact was that a creature of this size was considered a juvenile.
-Grrrrrr...
As the beast pushed its head through the portal, it started to emit a threatening growl at Hajoon and Riella. The mere sound of its warning unleashed a tempestuous wave of magic, which began to engulf Hajoon and Riella.
Hooooooong-----
The pressure was so intense that an ordinary person’s joints would have numbed from fear or they would have fainted from the sheer weight of it.
As the intense force continued to surge, Riella glanced worriedly at Hajoon standing beside her.
But what she saw stunned her.
’Huh......’
Hajoon was merely watching Fenrir, his face indifferent, withstanding a pressure that even seasoned heroes would struggle to endure.
No, it was doubtful whether he was really resisting it at all.
It seemed as if Hajoon didn’t even register the beast’s magical power.
Upon sensing her gaze, Hajoon turned his head and asked Riella calmly.
"Shouldn’t we get started?"
"Hmm……"
Riella looked at Hajoon thoughtfully for a moment before redirecting her attention.
Before her stood the mythic beast Fenrir.
Firstly, she needed to teach it to obey.
"You need to demonstrate that you’re not beneath him. In simpler terms, it’s a power struggle."
"A power struggle?"
"Yes, your willpower is key here. Stand before him."
Lee Jooah slowly stepped forward to stand before Fenrir.
Almost instantly, Fenrir’s expression twisted ferociously at her approach.
-Grrrrrrrrrrrr, Grrrahhhh!!
"Ahhh!"
Fenrir opened its mouth, threatening to bite Lee Jooah.
Fear gripped her so suddenly that she could only stagger backward.
The sudden onslaught of intimidation caused Lee Jooah to shake.
Riella, observing this, gently patted her head and continued to speak.
"You underestimated him. Do you understand now what he meant?"
"Ah, yes."
"That’s right. As he mentioned, even though they’ve made a contract with you, they don’t recognize you as their master."
"What should I do, then?"
"You need to show them that you are their equal. Or that you’re superior. Like this."
Riella calmly walked towards Fenrir.
Immediately, Fenrir’s expression became even more hostile than when it had faced Lee Jooah.
Fenrir, now radiating an even stronger wave of intimidation, sought to suppress Riella with a forceful wave of magical power.
-Awooooooo!
The chilling howl would have sent shivers down anyone’s spine.
Yet, Riella’s expression remained tranquil.
She approached Fenrir with a serene and steady stride.
Once Riella reached Fenrir, she gently placed her hand on his forehead and began to speak.
"Silence."
As she spoke, Fenrir’s eyes began to undergo a dramatic change.
She could feel the shift in his emotions.
From his initially haughty and irate expression, she now saw an inexplicable instinct.
The woman before him had done nothing more than approach and touch him.
Yet, from that simple action, Fenrir felt her overwhelming presence.
This sensation, however, was fleeting.
"Hooh! As expected of him... Huh?"
In that moment, subtle changes began to happen within the passageway.
It started to widen slowly.
Riella glanced at Lee Jooah.
Despite the precarious situation, there was an unusual look of delight on her face.
"Hehehe! Fenrir, he’s such an amusing one. To use his master’s magical power as he pleases... But it seems like you’re managing."
"Ah, yes. I am feeling a bit weak, though..."
"Heh... The more I see, the more I realize what a gem you are. To endure this creature’s manifestation with such a small body... The more I see, the more I want you."
Riella turned her gaze back to Fenrir.
A cold smile started to form on her lips.
"So, what should we do with this one...?!"
Just then.
Swoosh-
A wave of white fog gushed out from the corridor, quickly blanketing their surroundings.
Riella, taken aback by the sudden turn of events, found her vision obstructed by the rapidly spreading fog.
-Awoooooooo!!
At that moment, a howl echoed from where the boy had been standing.

Having emerged from the passage, Fenrir began to hunt for his prey.
Despite the fog obscuring their vision, Fenrir’s sight remained clear.
-Grrrr...
Soon after, a boy appeared.
A boy who remained unflinching in the face of his magical power.
The audacity of summoning him here without his consent would soon turn into regret.
-Groar!!
Fenrir charged at the boy, his massive jaws wide open.
Just then,
"This damn mutt."
Thud!! Bang!
Something heavy struck Fenrir’s head, forcing it straight into the ground.
But the onslaught didn’t end there.
Thud!!!
Concurrent with the shock reverberating through his head, a blow of greater magnitude slammed into his body.
Fenrir, sent hurtling through the air, ended up in a corner of the protective barrier.
For a moment, Fenrir’s eyes trembled.
What just happened? Judging from the magical power he’d sensed, this human should have been the weakest among them all.
But his thoughts were abruptly interrupted.
What followed was a relentless surge of pain.
Thud! Bang! Thud! Crash!
Clank! Screech!!
A relentless onslaught of painful blows started to batter his body.
And then, Fenrir saw him.
Despite the barrage of blows, the boy simply stood still, hammer in hand.
Faced with this bizarre spectacle, Fenrir began to feel fear.
For the first time since his birth, he experienced an unfamiliar sensation of fear mingled with pain.
And during this relentless onslaught, the boy, who calmly looked down at him, began to speak.
"Come to think of it, familiars or divine beasts can’t physically disappear, can they?"
Sssk- The corners of the boy’s mouth curved up chillingly.
"Since your master didn’t train you properly, I guess I have to do it myself. Right?"
Upon hearing those words, Fenrir’s eyes began to tremble, as if caught in the grip of an earthquake.

Riella quickly turned her gaze towards the direction of the noise that Fenrir had made.
The scene she encountered was truly ridiculous.
Boom! Bang! Pang!! Crash!!!
The sounds of collision echoed, causing the entire terrain, including the curtain, to vibrate violently.
-Awooo! Grrr! Snarl! Squeal!!
Thud! Bang! Thud!!
The cacophony continued, one noise after another.
With a puzzled expression, Riella slowly began to move towards the source of the racket.
"......What on earth is happening?"
Slowly, the fog began to lift.
The sight that was revealed as the fog cleared was simultaneously breathtaking and horrifying.
"Heavens......what is this?"
Bang! Bang! Boom! Crash!
-Squeal......
Fenrir, reputedly the mightiest among the divine beasts, was cowering in a corner.
Moreover, he was being pummeled by something at an unfathomable speed within the confines of the curtain, whimpering in pain.
Boom! Bang! Thud! Thud! Crash!
-Squeak!!
And standing before this pitiful Fenrir was a boy with a golden hammer.
Kim Hajoon.
He simply stood there, gazing down at Fenrir with an indifferent look.
In an instant, the boy disappeared.
Then, the instant he reappeared, invisible shockwaves continuously assailed Fenrir’s entire body. This spectacle kept repeating itself.
Riella, who had been staring blankly, was left utterly aghast.
’How on earth is he doing this......’
She had suspected something was different.
But that didn’t necessarily imply a display of strength.
After confirming through physical contact, she knew that the boy didn’t possess extraordinary strength or magical power.
Furthermore, she couldn’t feel anything unusual despite the unfolding spectacle.
No extraordinary magical power or energy could be sensed. It was almost as if he was a void.
Yet, in such a state, he demonstrated these astonishing abilities.
The spectacle Hajoon was exhibiting was nearly ’unknown’ to Riella.
"Is that what he meant earlier?"
-Don’t you think I might have my own ways?
Ways, indeed! His method of defeating and taming a divine beast was almost textbook.
