The Absolute Godspeed of Infinite Worlds

The short sword whistled through the air like an arrow, precisely striking a wyvern's neck as the rope swiftly coiled around it.

Eiji and Lefiya's descent came to an abrupt halt. The tremendous centrifugal force hurled them into the air, and as the wyvern choked, spitting froth, the two spun around and landed atop its back.

The rope sword vanished. A white blade plunged in, then emerged red, instantly decapitating the wyvern.

Eiji kicked off, leaping onto another wyvern and repeating the same lethal maneuver.

Meanwhile, Tiona, suspended midair, couldn't move freely. She could only wait passively as wyverns attacked, then cleave them down one by one with her indestructible greatsword.

Lefiya shouted.

Through her desperate control, the beam of light curved midair, sweeping through the wyverns surrounding them and reducing them all to ashes!

"Lefiya, that was amazing!"

Tiona cheered.

Unable to maneuver in the air, she had been under immense pressure, her green veil already frayed further. In contrast, Eiji swung back and forth effortlessly with his rope sword, his veil untouched.

Before the expedition, Eiji, with time to spare, had scoured Orario's weapon shops, collecting all manner of swords—even obscure ones—and replicated them. The rope sword was just one of them.

With the surrounding threats obliterated, the group plummeted deeper. The wyverns behind them crowded the vertical shaft, unable to catch up.

Soon, a crimson world came into view.

The bottom of the Dragon's Vase—the 58th floor of the Dungeon.

The furthest point reached by powerful familias like the Zeus Familia and the Loki Familia.

Unlike the floors above, there were no mazes or corridors here—just a vast wasteland of rock, devoid of trees or rivers.

The entire world was dyed in shades of red.

Monsters ran rampant here, turning it into a living hell!

Having traversed all the floors above, the trio now descended into this inferno, mere eighty meters from the ground.

Four artillery dragons circling directly below them raised their heads and unleashed deafening roars.

The sound, infused with draconic might, could shatter eardrums and churn the organs of even third-tier adventurers.

Crimson fireballs condensed in the dragons' mouths.

Tiona's face tensed.

Panic flashed in Lefiya's eyes.

A thick cloud of dust rose, making Lefiya cough several times.

Once she regained her bearings, she quickly looked up at Eiji.

He pulled his feet out of the rock, where they had been embedded like nails, and shook them a few times. Aside from some numbness, he seemed almost unharmed.

At least he was okay.

Lefiya sighed in relief.

Falling from such a height would have been fatal even for a second-tier adventurer. Even first-tier adventurers like them, at Level 5, would have suffered severe injuries. Fortunately, they had used the wyverns as a buffer mid-fall, absorbing most of the impact.

"ROAR—!!"

The massive red Valgang dragon howled at the sky, furious that its prey had trespassed into its domain.

From the vertical shafts of the 56th and 57th floors above, swarms of wyverns could be seen descending, their wings flapping.

In the distance of this crimson hell, other monsters of various colors let out sharp, rough cries as they charged toward them, shaking the ground with their relentless approach.

Eiji recalled the skirmish they had encountered back in Rivira on the 18th floor.

At that time, Lefiya had used a large-scale magic spell that burned down the entire town. Although it was originally meant to kill the man-eating flower monsters, it demonstrated just how powerful her magic was.
