Rain closed his laptop after he ended up his online meeting, he knows that his sudden leaving isn't good but he didn't thought that finding a man would be this hard in this tangled south! Also…

He remembered that tight hug from yesterday

He frown standing taking his jacket and left that hotel room heading to the Wes-hospital he mentioned! He need to deal with this fast and find the fragment so he could back to his cold life he was living for the past 5 years.

At the car he asked the driver of any new information he needs to know about, but all he got was that Hades base isn't known to anyone they counter, but mostly they think it is a lie and no one would tell on their leader or his men. So for Rain there was one fast option left…

Dena!

After the ride the car stopped in front of the Wes-hospital door.

"Shall we go in with you?"

The driver asked but Rain refused since he is going just for a check up on his wound, also to know where that Dena is from Lex! But how he could convince him to give him the information if he can't give anything in return.

Dealing with all this far from his area is frustrating, if he was around the red-circle, he would took out the information as much as he want with unpleasant methods and that makes it easier and fast too! But here, he should play with the others rules because he doesn't know the consequences that can pops up out of nowhere.

Walking inside the hospital, he went to the reception, and he could see the nurses giggle behind his back, even the two receptionist had this eye-contact when he was standing in front of them.

"h-how can I help you" one of them stands and asked

"I am looking for a doctor working here, his name is Lex" Rain asked

"Doctor Lex? Oh! Wait!" she said like she remembered something searching around till she found a piece of paper "you are the guest he informed us that could visit him I guess, your name?"

"Rain Volk"

The receptionist smiled looking at the one next to her, who was holding her smile trying to keep it professional "Dr. Lex…Dr. Lex" she start checking her computer.

But the other receptionist spoke with her co-worker "I heard his 2nd team at lunch waiting him to finish an operation"

"Yes!" the other one searching answered "he had 2 scheduled operations, but got an emergency!" she looked at Rain "it may take a little longer for him to be free" she looks at the hour "maybe around 7pm!"

Rain nodded knowing it still early "I will come back later" wanting to leave they didn't wait to start talking on his back

"Oh my god! Did you see how handsome he is?"

"It is Dr. Lex after all! His beauty is perfect"

"his beauty, his carrier even his guest! I wish I was in his place"

"me too!"

Both start giggling and Rain shake his head leaving that hospital, back to his car.

"Boss"

The driver called and Rain shake his head "we will have to wait till 7"

"Should I take you to some restaurant for lunch?"

"No, I will work here"

The time always flies when he is working, if the driver didn't inform him that the time has arrived, he would have stayed there till midnight, he never check the hour because he doesn't want to be anywhere!

Closing his laptop he went down the car and walk back to the hospital, the place this time was little crowded, when he went to the reception she smiled to him while informing.

"You can wait in the waiting room at the far left or at the cafeteria the second turn on the right"

Rain nodded walking to the cafeteria because a cup of coffee will be good at this time after all the work.

He stopped by the coffee machine taking the plastic cup and fill it with dark coffee, the bitterness was pleasant for his taste because maybe nothing can beat the bitterness of his life, he look around wanting to find an empty table but the place was full, yet his eye landed on an old woman struggling with a sticks wanting to stand.

He walk near that table since she will be leaving but she eyed him smiling and even spoke "Young man! Can you help me reach my room?" Rain was little confused at first but he nodded walking near her giving her his arm so she could use it as a handle, walking with her little by little her room was at the 3rd floor, when arriving she thanked him going back to her bed.

Looking at his now cold coffee that he was still holding, he searched for the restroom sign and walk there to get rid of the coffee also using the restroom after that he walks out to hear a familiar voice giving him shivers

"I am starving!" Lex said touching his stomach walking with another doctor in his 50s

"Me too, my lunch is consumed" the old doctor says

"Lunch! What lunch? I didn't even have breakfast! No, I didn't have dinner yesterday"

The doctor shake his head! "I know you are perfect at your job, but skipping meals will make your performance during the operation catastrophic"

"I know" Lex frown but then smiled "But I had an emergency case yesterday!"

Hearing the conversation, Rain shake his head, having drugs, sleepless and skips meals that is the worst doctor scenario over there! "Hey you!" he says and the two doctors turn

"You know him?" the old doctor asked

But Lex smiled "yes the emergency case! I will see you tomorrow"

"Sure but eat something kid!"

"I will!" Lex says walking back to him and Rain saw him happy speaking "I was doubting you will came to see me, come, I will check your wounds first"

He says wanting to go but Rain stopped him with "don't you need to eat before checking any other patient?"

Lex shake his head a no "it won't take much time!" he walks behind Rain and pushed him "Also I don't want to eat the hospital food"

Being pushed like that Rain did follow him at the end to a small room having medical materials, he saw Lex checking his wound and even changing the bandage he smiled with "all good! Couple of days and you will need to take off the stitches, you can come back…"

Rain cut him off "I won't be staying for that long!"

"Ow!" Lex says little disappointed

"Unless someone won't help me find Dena" Rain tried his luck

"Dena again!" Lex nodded repeating the name still in disappointment but switched to a joking grin "but you still didn't offer anything"

Rain had that small smile "how about a late lunch?" he know what he says isn't valid

But Lex biting his lower lip while looking strangely at him says "What if I want more than just a lunch?"

"More than just a lunch?" Rain had to ask even if he knows what he meant "you want dinner too?"

But Lex expression switch to a serious one "come on, drop the acting, you know that no one around us there is just you and me in this room!"

Rain shake his head in a way showing that he was disappointed in him "then I will be straightforward, more than lunch? What do you want sex?" he says standing wearing his clothes back "Sorry but I don't want to do it with you, all I want now is Dena"

"Ow…" Lex words got shocked in his throat "I get it…"

"It was a mistake coming here" Rain says while leaving to the door stopping while holding the handle "I will let one of my men drop you the fees for the operation and everything! I hope we won't meet again" with that he left the room walking on the corridor but he heard his name being called

"Rain"

The similarity in the voice had him to stop turning seeing Lex coming to his direction stopping right in front of him

"It was my mistake to think…" he didn't finish his sentence but switched to another "I will help you find her…" he stopped his sentence again but because he smiled to some nurses passing buy "but not here, there is a restaurant two blocks away wait me there, I will change and come"

That was all what he says and walks away.
