Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2 edited
"So it's settled, you're coming with us," the white one said while the green one seemed more suspicious of me. I understood why; it was kind of misleading with how the yellow being, now gray, was looking at me.
Shaking my head, I used my exposed arm to start healing my frame. However, unlike the Helminth, my energy was much less effective at healing. Because I was using my energy, I was also charging my frame, so maybe I could use it fully without damaging it. Thankfully, the beast I was in got rid of all the spores, so it wasn't as weak as before.
Turning towards the beings that seemed quite close, I watched as the green one seemed to be talking the white one off while the gray one cleaned itself with a cloth. However, I couldn't find the small one. No sooner had I thought that I felt a jab to my side, making my slightly healed frame crack.
"Sorry about that, but I wanted to introduce myself. You can call me Rocket, and the big guy, yeah, that's Drax, Those two arguing are Gamora and Quill," Rocket said as he pointed at each one of them.
Giving each one of them a slight bow, I proceeded to introduce myself. "Hello, I am Tenno," I said, although thankfully half of my frame's face was still gone, so I could talk without getting out of my frame.
"Well, alright, let's put these things away and go collect our rewards," Quill said.

"Ordis, have you located him?" a woman asked while she chewed on her nail nervously.
"Yes, and we are en route," Ordis said somberly. He thought the Tenno had abandoned him, and it wasn't only him. All of us felt abandoned, especially the Lotus, who seemed to be the most affected by what he did. After all, it wasn't just him that disappeared, but every Tenno and even the Stalker.
Sighing, the woman walked towards the Tenno's room, briefly stopping to pet the Kavat that was sleeping near the door. Stepping into the room, the woman watched as the Lotus worked on multiple screens. However, when the Lotus saw the woman, she closed the screens and hugged her. "We're so close."
———POV change———Tenno———
Entering the ship with the others, I couldn't help but worry as I looked at Rocket. After all, I saw that he stole something from these people, and from my experience with the Orokin, people like these would not like it.
Shrugging my shoulders, I entered the spacecraft, but not even a second later, I felt a quiet tremor go through me, causing me to stumble and sit down. "What is wrong with you?" the blue woman asked. However, I didn't say anything and just took a seat somewhere and started healing my frame as quickly as I could. After all, I now knew what was going on.
Quickly stepping out of my frame, I used a large amount of energy to speed up the healing effects before throwing a ball with etchings all over it at the frame's feet. Immediately, the frame disappeared. As the ship lifted from the ground and took off, I made my way to the front where Quill and Rocket were arguing about something he stole. I couldn't be bothered, so I made my way to the back where the blue lady was and made myself comfortable and starting to gather some of the void energy around me, which was quite scarce.
After a couple of hours of dining on the little energy I could gather, I opened my eyes just to see the ancient machine in ruins. Above the growing noise the ship made, Rocket and Quill were still arguing. Only the gray one and the green one acknowledged my presence. However, what caught my attention was the scenery.
Looking around, I saw shades of green that I hadn't seen in a while. However, while I was in awe of the nature around me, I failed to recognize a white thing landing nearby. When I did notice it, it wasn't because of its size but because of the huge amount of energy it was emitting.
When a white person exited the white thing, I felt a huge amount of energy burst out from him. I would have started absorbing the energy, but there was a rottenness to it, so I just took a step back and watched as the white person started talking.
"After all these years, I have finally found you," said the new arrival.
"And who the hell are you?" Quill asked defensively.
"You figured my handsome good looks would make that obvious. My name is Ego, and I am your dad, Peter," Ego said. Seeing as this might take a while, I retrieved my sword.
"I am going to go grab some wood," I announced before walking into the woods. However, I didn't need to go far because many trees had been struck down by the elements. All of them were too tall, so using my Azothane, the fallen tree was quickly split in two, and I was hauling it back to the crash site. When I arrived, the sky was slightly dark, so I threw the half tree in their direction before sitting next to Drax.
"You're mighty strong, aren't you?" the white person said/asked.
"Yes, yes I am," I said as I started cutting up the half tree into small planks. Gamora helped me make a fire. When that was done, I just stared at the fire while Quill's dad started talking, which oddly reminded me of Ballas, but I didn't say anything and just continued to poke at the fire. After a bit, Quill and Gamora left while Ego took a "wiz."
"I am Mantis," the pink person that came with Ego said abruptly, causing Drax and me to just look at her. Then she started smiling.
"What are you doing?" Drax asked.
"Smiling. I hear it is the thing to do to make people like you," she said.
"Not if you do it like that," replied Drax before taking another bite out of something. At that point, I got bored and continued to play with the fire. However, soon my inner peace was disrupted when Ego and the others came back.
"So, strong kid. What are you? I don't think I have seen your kind around here," Ego said as he too started to eat something.
"Yeah, and seeing the lack of void energy, I don't think this is my universe either," I replied as I threw my stick into the fire. "My species is called Ten-o." But as I said this, Quill looked at me oddly.
"Didn't you say your name was Tenno?" he asked with suspicion. Not wanting to give the wrong idea to these kind people, I hastily explained myself.
"I didn't lie to you, sir Quill. It would just be weird if you all called me seven, and Tenno sounds much more like a name," I said. To prove it, I lifted my shirt and showed them the big tattoo that said 10-0-7-ZARIMAN on my back. When I turned around, everybody seemed to have varying expressions, which all made me feel weird.
Sitting back down, I grabbed another stick and started poking at the fire again. After a couple more seconds of silence, Ego and the others started talking again. But I couldn't pay attention because I felt something explode inside. When I looked to see what it was, I couldn't help but be shocked. Before me, two schools seemed to have appeared. Without my arsenal, I couldn't see what they were, so instead, I focused more on absorbing the void energy around me while trying not to consume that nasty stuff coming off of Ego.
