Temporal Pearls

It happened very fast, which Seth couldn't perceive. Two skills activated, Coral Authority Domain and Bubble Guardian, at the same time.

Bubble Guardian was a head size bubble with several layers, it floated just before Seth chest while the domain expanded, covering a 300 meter radius.

With the domain expansion Seth saw the truth and it almost made him panicked but he wasn't new to the situation and so held on.

His wrist was wrapped by slimy tongues that had minute suckers sucking his energy. Behind him was a giant ethereal maw with no teeth, it could have swallowed him but it didn't.

The face of the maw was of a beautiful devilish woman, her beautiful eyes had pronounced eyelashes and was closed in bliss, enjoying his energy.

Beyond the head was a head again, bigger and menacing and had the whole cart in its mouth.

Everything was ethereal as they passed through the ground and air with no commotions.

It was its presence that scared away everything and made the bells to be silent.

Coral Domain was a domain that extended to 300 meters, within it uneven structure began to grow and reddish pink mist permeated the air.

Seth has already sent a cue to Little Cub to run out of the domain and he too has intention to exit at the opposite but a profound sense of danger enveloped him.

Within the domain he stood a chance to survive but outside the domain he had zero chance.

This creature was very dangerous, it can bypass many layers of defense and reach him.

Seth's confidence in First Might was high but the creature has been sucking his energy without any sign. If not for the outside anomaly and his screaming intuition he would have not known what was happening.

As Bubble Guardian enveloped Seth and they seemingly teleported away from the cart. Seth was ripped off from the tongues sucking him as a result.

All this commotion and the creatures wasn't stirred, oblivious that it was discovered but the moment Seth escaped its grasp, it woke up.

The eyes of the beautiful devilish woman opened, it was pitch black and it locked on Seth immediately.

The monstrous face behind it, also stirred and unlatched from the cart and it eerily levitated within the ground.

Seth's heart tightened as he saw it, with his eyes, he couldn't grasp it but it was the overhead view of the Domain that he had which allowed him to feel a bit about it.

It was by no means tangible or within the realm of physical limit, but encompasses many things, it was a sound, a wind, a colour and also a mind creature.

Aura Sight was active but it only saw points in space glowing and nothing else. As if the whole monster was just a projection.

Suddenly, the Bubble Guardian teleported again, to another side of the domain. Where they were before the monster appeared there.

'What?' Seth's understanding was shattered, he couldn't grapsed what he was seeing and comprehending. The creature didn't move in a normal sense but it was already where he was.

If not for the domain and Bubble Guardian working together to move him he would have been captured again.

The ethereal being turned and looked their way and the moment her eyes landed on Seth, they were gone. Away from her gaze and perception.

The mist within the domain congregated toward the monster but they only passed through it, with no effects.

But at that moment the mist began to shift and turned in a strange manner, and the face of the woman immediately frowned, it sank back and the monster behind expanded.

Every muscle twitch it made, Seth felt his throat had been gripped by impending doom.

The creature was becoming tangible and the presence it was emitting was enough to burst baby dragon to pulp and this was just the beginning.

The reddish pink mist changes its motion, it now behaves like the Green brown aura that contained Menos in Grande Foresto.

It thickened around the monster suppressing its pressure and aura but every movement made it dispersed.

Seth at the other side was already seeing his death, his Existence Might Perception was telling him this is the worst creature he ever met. It was an entity with warp reason and perception, the only thing it knew was feed and grow.

It was by no means mad or insane but very intelligent but its sanity was entirely not within the reason of man to understand.

This was not a corrupted dragon or Gawee Monster or any of that monstrosity, this was born artificially and even the creator feared it.

Seth perceived all that intuitively, he has no courage to muster any form of thought or reasoning as to how it reached him, or why did Blood Warlock allow it to escape.

He didn't even have energy to think why he involved himself in this case. Why the hell did he give the Blood Warlock an account of its aura trace? He should have stayed away.

Within everything living and non there was desire to exist, to live, to dwell and that desire transformed to will and that will give a reason to find a solution, Seth felt no solution but two.

One, First Might, but with little reasoning he knew this intelligent monster will escape and wait and later come back. Perhaps, this time Seth won't even discover it.

First Might has clashed with Gold Dragon Might but didn't destroy it, this monster might have its own force and can survive and then consume him later.

The second was to escape and try to trap it in the domain or use Beholder World but can he even do that. Will the monster allow itself to be tricked? How much did it know about him?

There was also the idea of hiding inside Safe House but the little reasoning Seth has, he knew all this will not work.

When the Red Signature Book activated it brought forth Coral Authority Domain and Bubble Guardian, they might be the key.

But Seth knew they only served to prolong his suffering. Perhaps pulling that vile Artefact that will bring ancient…

Seth haphazard thought was interrupted as the monster just appeared before him and with it foot, it pin Bubble Guardian on the ground, in a pit of panic and the awakening despair he pushed the Red Signature Book toward the monster and the Tome Of Silence was facing it.

The monstrous creature has its head bitten off completely with apparent ease and the culprit Seth knew as the Great Maw was chewing it slowly as if it was a delicacy.

However, Seth's body was trembling, he was not happy, if before he was facing fear and despair of the unknown now it was against his power that he knew but didn't know how to control.

The fact that First Might has fixed it did little to reduce his anxiety.

He watched the headless monster, and knew no matter how great it was, it lost its head forever. There was no regeneration or reversing it. The Maw ate it and that was unchangeable.

He should be happy, especially now that he saw black blood pouring out of the monster's neck, and the Coral Domain was consuming it, becoming stronger, coral growing at visible eyes rate.

The monster's strong body should break apart and fall even if it's not dead.

When the Great Maw first ate his hand, he felt he lost something from his body. When The Great Maw devoured dragon breaths in Dragon Burtali the dragons lost consciousness.

The Great Maw devoured more than what appeared.

However, as the body was breaking apart and the mist and coral grew in power, a pale hand with black long nails protruded from the wound.

Its appearance blasted away the corals and the mist and also the remaining body exploded.

What stood there was a humanoid creature with four arms, each long to touch the ground, each with sharp black nails.

Its head was in a warp shape of W and stood above what was a triangle. Its torso has markings that glow with yellow light and its stomach has a single eye with multiple eyes within.

Its two legs were merged somewhat and the entity floated above the ground. It has male genitalia that seemed to ooze pale green liquid that corroded the domain.

He can already see tiny creatures sprouting from the green liquid as it merges with the mist and coral.

They were all being impregnated and being born at the same time.

Seth was not afraid of it, not because it was not dangerous, no by no means that was not the reason. Because his fear was on the…

'It's still eating!' Seth despaired. 'When will it stop eating!' he was already losing his mind as to how the munching affected him.

But the worse has yet to come, it was when the Tome Of Silence began to overpowered him, making his hand to turn and make him look at its cover page.

Seth's face scrunched, fear drove him mad as he tried not to look but he knew he had fed it too much and the Tome had the power to make him look.

He should close his eyes but it doesn't matter, eyes close doesn't matter and he knew it.
