Temporal Pearls

Chapter 299: Insincerity

Seth's goal was to craft Silk Threads Sew Art depicting all the dragons he had faced. But it won't be one use art, rather one that can be animated repeatedly.

However, he knows it will be hard to achieve, so he will just make a continuous animation before he plans his way forward.

Another thing he wanted to achieve with this was to change the presence of the dragon to his own. That was to say, every time a dragon animation happened, the dragon will have the original dragon abilities, its aura but presence was different.

Without Red Signature Book Halo to shield him, they might know and even try to do something to him. So, he wanted to transform the aura and presence to his own, or to something that can't lead them to him.

This plan has been in his mind since when Retina told him that Dragon Pulse will attract trouble to him. Now he doesn't even use it alot.

For an artist like Seth who loved what he was doing, time was relative. An hour may flow like a minute and a minute can also flow like a day.

Seth only recognised that time had truly passed when his bent neck got tired and he stretched it.

Or when he exhausted his Exertion Points and rested about six times for 30 minutes each but suddenly he heard a bang on his cart.

He felt mild annoyance, and the back door swung open, "Lady Saya, You need additional information!" He asked

The woman was taken aback and she said, "You said two days right!"

"That's right!" He said.

"Today is the third day!" She added.

Seth's lazy and tired face snapped awake and he looked at his Analogue Clock that he forgot he had and facepalm.

"Sorry, give me 2 minutes!"

Two minutes later, the cart swung open, the place was tidy and the Bloodline Infusion Device box was out pulsing with power. The tiredness on Seth's face was gone as he sat on his soft floating pillow.

"Please come in. Rena help me guide her, please." The rabbit lady was present but he didn't see her brother.

Greenvein and one of the women he transported from dragon Burtali was present too. They all come in.

The box transformed into sarcophagus and he went back to allow Rena to help Saya be in a wrapper.

"She is ready!" The paper human announced and Seth came out.

He took the bloodline essence but he immediately found something amiss.

With Preeminence Gaze he said, "This isn't what I gave out!'

"What?" Greenvein and the other woman asked in unison.

"Yes. It's still Roaring Stripe Tiger but the essence was diluted. I won't infuse this one. It's not standard!"

He said as he handed it back to Greenvein.

Lady Saya quickly wore her clothes and came out with fury, snatched the Vial and went back to the GEST headquarters. The other women followed her too, only Rena remained.

"GEST is a good organization but I just can't bring myself to trust them. Too many schemes and lies." Rena commented.

That was when she noticed the spider looking at Seth and she said with a chuckle, "You forgot about her!"

"Oh, Sue. I'm sorry. Let's do it now!"

The box reverted back to normal and a small chamber appeared on top. Seth placed the spider in and followed the process.

"Even animals can be infused!"

"Not all. Tainted animals and special animals can't be!" Seth said.

"Hmmm!" The descended Blood Warlock presence harrumphed but didn't complain. The spider came out a bit bigger than it was and more energetic than ever.

"Here are our payments for the Infusion. Zero will bring the real world code!" She handed Seth a pouch, inside were ash moulded coins.

[Gawee Coin]

There are about a thousand insides. Together with red gems and blue gems. The gems also were Gawee Coins

Upon calculation, the money was intact. He then slipped them inside the hidden chamber of the box before storing it away.

"Zero will bring White Deer bloodline, but he may take time before he comes back."

"Today marked the 8th day. I wanted to leave after just a week but got delayed. I can only stay for another day or two." Seth said, "but if he was back within that moment, I can see what I can do"

Zuko and Zumo returned, they were the ones that came three days ago and Seth sent them away to come back later.

"Did you come with the certificate and the Vial!" Seth asked. They nodded and he asked them to come in.

He collected the certificate and checked, he had made it among the 13 others that Skylar bought. Upon checking the Bloodline Essence it was tempered with just like Lady Saya own.

Seth sighed and looked at Zuko and said, "The certificate is authentic but the essence in the Vial has been tampered with."

"What?" They too have the same reaction as the women.

"Yes. I gave out this essence but this one has been diluted!" Seth handed it back to them. Enjoy new adventures from empire

They stared at him with disbelief before they said, "Can't you infuse it like this"

"It's possible to infuse it but I can't. The device I

use won't recognise it because it is not the required standard!"

They were talking when Greenvein came in and said, "Master Seth, aren't we the first in line?"

"Yes. Your line is undisturbed." Seth assured her before he added, "these people are facing the same problem as you!"

She frowned and said, "Come with me!"

The duo followed her.

An hour later, Seth was visited by three agitated figures. One was a very old man with a stern look, the other was Skylar and the third was Lady Saya.

"Master Seth, we would like to discuss something very important!" Skylar said.

Seth allowed them to enter and closed the Cart. Rena was inside too. The old man introduced himself as,

"You can call me Low Mountain." Then he inquired, "I would like you to authenticate this vial for me!"

He handed 7 vials, three of which were the one given to Lady Saya and Zuko and his friend.

Seth took them and checked. He separated two from the seven vials and said, "These are normal but these five are diluted."

"How do you authenticate them with just a look!"

Seth smiled and he asked for their certificate, "Hold the certificate with one hand and the Vial with another. Push any form of energy into them as long as it's not destructive."

He demonstrated it to them, the certificate projected its information before it showed them the value of the vial and what it contained.

"These ones are normal. With a bit of concentration, the vial and certificate will glow and resonate and you can feel the Bloodline potency and authenticity!"

Seth then took the diluted ones but the certificate refused to glow.

"The certificate belongs to the blood essence and if there was something wrong it won't react!"

They tried it themselves and it was confirmed that those two were indeed the normal ones.

Low Mountain was in thought for some time before he said, "This is merely for investigation but is it possible that you didn't give us authentic essence!?"

Seth's smile vanished as he looked toward them, his already broken ego pulse with pain, only with his skill [Conscious Deliberation] that allowed him control over his involuntary organ Seth controlled his scowl.

"No. It's impossible!" He said before he pulled out his canvas, preparing to continue his work. Leaving them as if they were mere decorations.

"Can you trace the bloodline that you sold?" The old man asked again, he wasn't deterred.

Seth lingered for a moment before he said, "No!"

He can actually track certificates and vials with ease but that wasn't the problem. It was the essence that was removed and the one in the Vial being diluted.

Seth knew he could track even the extracted portion unless it was used by someone. His attribute of Trustworthy snapped Seth back as he said, "Certificate can be traced!"

They frowned, this wasn't what they wanted.

They say their farewell and leave after asking for the infusion of the diluted one but Seth refuses.

He really doesn't want to do anything with the problem that will arise, so he entertains the idea of leaving that day but later refrains.

He expressed that he will leave in two days.

For the rest of the day, he and Rena's experiment went on regarding papers and various canvases.

She was able to mimic the property of all the sample she bought last time and by next day, she upgrade her BVP known to Origin Paper

With the upgrade, Seth converted them to (E) rank canvas. Which was better than (F) rank canvas by large margins.

Around midnight, Seth finished his Thread Art of all the dragons he battled. He was about to start trying to change their presence when his body blurred. He was forced to log out again.

He opened his eyes and found himself surrounded by men in black suits and dark spectacles.
