Chapter 45: Boars
The overwhelming army of snakes was coming at the Tea family and the others with no end. Throughout Akash's entire force, the vast majority were dying and reviving left and right.
The perpetual and maddening pain moved them to the brink of insanity, turning them into an army of berserkers, where they only cared about their enemy's demise and not for their own safety.
In total, there were only 6 people who had not died even once. The Seth family, Baghi and his two eldest grandsons, Razi and Haji.
When Haji Tea released his beasts, they had all died without putting up much of a fight, only Thunder Sword Boar surprisingly held on.
He was only 5 meters long, with his small body and fast speed, nobody could see him and if some did, they couldn't catch a such a relatively small pig with their huge bodies in the middle of such a chaotic and ever-changing battlefield.
Thunder Sword Boar was exceptionally brave as he kept running at blinding speeds, with brimming lightning tusks. He was fighting separately and helped every member of the force with his unstoppable charge.
During this all, he saw another boar of about 30 meters with two steel-like tusks, not attacking anyone but instead just observing. The boar had purple hair and crimson dragon-like skin.
Seeing an opponent of the same race, Thunder Sword Boar moved towards it. He arrived from its side, sliding and diving, he arrived and thrust his lance-like tusks.
~BANG~
Thunder Sword Boar was kicked by that Crimson Boar with a single fast kick, flinging him away towards a dragon, His bones were broken. Later, the dragon stepped on him and squeezed his body into minced meat, the boar gave out a painful cry before dying.
After Haji saw his favourite beast mutilated like this, he rushed towards the boar himself, fueled by rage. The Star Captain boar calmly watched Haji rushing towards it and as Haji swung his spear, a fire barrier appeared and blocked it. Haji forced more power into his strike until the barrier shattered, however, he was surprised instead. That boar was no longer there.
Haji flinched and looked behind, where he saw his adversary. It picked its hooves up and stomped on Haji who tried to block it with his spear, yet he was still trampled against the stony ground. After which, the boar spoke.
"Fools, even the dragons respect my strength, yet you imbeciles are coming at me head on!"
Haji coughed up blood which splattered on his spear, causing it to glow. Then, Haji heard a voice inside his head.
"Master."
A greenish smoke surrounded Haji and quickly enough, all the nearby beasts died on the spot when they inhaled it.
The boar jumped back and erected a fire barrier, trapping Haji inside the fiery and poisonous smoke. Soon the fire's color changed into green, and the barrier evaporated.
The boar's eyes widened. He couldn't believe his fire barrier was dealt with so easily. Haji came out, safe and sound, and looked at his newly awakened spear.
"Thank you, Duran."
The spear replied.
"It's only my duty, master. From today onwards, no poison will be able to kill you and even a simple scratch from me can kill anyone, sooner or later."
The boar trembled for it had never seen such a weapon. The spear was giving off a powerful aura.
"What kind of weapon is that? This... even the gold panther would die from its attack."
Decisively, the boar ran away while thinking this. Unfortunately for it, Haji followed but the boar was still faster, until all of a sudden, a small lightning figure came and slashed the boar's leg. It tripped and fell, rolling over.
The tusks of Thunder Sword Boar broke into pieces, proving how tough and powerful the opponent's skin was. The boar was totally focused on Haji and hadn't seen the latter's approach. It yelled.
"You can revive too?"
Before long, Haji arrived at the boar's side, who flinched before its tusks were engulfed with fire, activating its skill "Fire Lances". Then, it yelled again and swung at Haji, who, however, ducked and went under its huge head and before uttering.
"1st Way of the Death Spear, the Way of the Snake."
The stiff spear turned elastic before quickly slithering towards the eye of the boar, piercing it and coming out from the other eye.
As a result, the boar fell, shuddered in pain and died. Afterwards, Haji looked at his own boar and smirked.
"It was amazing, wasn't it. There are still 6 more ways le..."
~BANG~
A giant Ape kicked Haji before he could complete his sentence, the boar sighed as if saying how could he forget he was still in the middle of a battlefield.
~Elsewhere in the battlefield~
Baghi Tea was fighting and cutting down beasts one by one, he was one of the two tamers in the force with the highest cultivation realm. In the midst of his battle, he saw a giant black bear coming, it was at the Star General realm, same as himself.
After killing the small fries, big ones were now emerging. In response, Baghi hollered.
"Zaheer, go and keep these beasts busy. I'm going to kill them in one shot!"
Zaheer cackled.
"Old fool, you are finally using it!"
Baghi retorted.
"Shut up, old fart, and hurry up!"
Zaheer called his sons.
"Boys, come with me!"
Bilawal nodded while Hasnain tsked.
Zaheer jumped and engaged the black bear while Hasnain and Bilawal used their "Spatial Step" techniques to reach the middle of the beasts. They looked at the new duo and roared loudly, Hasnain paid no heed and raised his glaive before uttering.
"Sunshine."
The entire glaive emitted a bright light, blinding everyone around. After which, Bilawal raised his hand and uttered his skill.
"Chains of Darkness!"
From the shadows of the beasts, smoky black chains rose and entangled the beasts, then Bilawal slammed his palm on the ground and named his 2nd skill.
"Shackles of Ice!"
The entire field turned into ice, turning the feet of the beasts frozen, immobilizing them. Hasnain Seth hee-hawed and spun his glaive, continuing the rotation until its speed increased and even fire engulfed it.
"Flame Wheel!"
He threw the burning wheel glaive which mercilessly burnt and cut down all the trapped beasts. To their misfortunes, they couldn't even move to protect themselves.
At the same time, a figure was floating in the sky, Baghi Tea. Both his hands were raised and atop of them was a ball. It was a 2-feet-sized round ball, emitting colorful hues.
"Venin Orb of the Tea Family!"
Baghi uttered and hurled it at the cluster of beasts. It erupted, causing the wind to spread the colorful hues everywhere. The beasts stopped their breaths and scattered, but it was no use. Soon, their eyes, ears and every other orifice of their body leaked blood before they started to fall one by one.
