“So this is where the second set of rules was hidden…”
He Gu suddenly realized that when he had left earlier, the big iron door of the dormitory was open outward, flush against the walls on both sides. Therefore, he hadn’t been able to see the rules posted there.

He Gu said helplessly, “The dorm gate is already locked for the night, let’s just make do for today. I’ll go to the cafeteria and buy you something tomorrow.”

Xiao Ying took a bread roll and lounged on the bed, idly playing on her phone and swinging her long legs.
He Gu sat on the bed across from her, absentmindedly scrolling through his phone while waiting for the noodles to cook.
The dorm room fell quiet for a while, with neither of them speaking again.
By the time He Gu finished eating his noodles, Xiao Ying was still slowly nibbling her bread and lazily looking at her phone.
Remembering the dorm rule about keeping the room clean and hygienic, He Gu tidied up the noodle cup and gave the room a quick sweep.
After he was done with these chores, it was already 9:30 at night.
But just as He Gu was preparing to sleep and wait for daylight, Xiao Ying suddenly spoke up again, “I’m so bored. Let’s watch something exciting together.”
He Gu: ???
