CHAPTER VI

PLOT STORY:

Act I: Introduction

- Ava and Ruby set out in a separate car, with Ruby driving herself.

- Ava asks Ruby, "Do you remember the way?"

- Ruby replies, "Yes, I remember the way."

Act II: Rising Action

- Ruby receives a call from Suresh, who tells her to take a shortcut.

- Ruby expresses her concern about taking the shortcut, citing the risk of robbers and attacks.

- Suresh reassures her that their car is following hers, so she shouldn't worry.

- Ava asks Ruby if they are headed to Mansuri.

- Ruby confirms, but Ava seems unenthusiastic.

Act III: Climax

- Ava falls asleep and has a bad dream in which Ruby is shot.

- Ava wakes up and asks Ruby if she's okay.

- Ruby says everything is fine and asks Ava if she's hungry.

- Ava says she's feeling a bit warm and asks Ruby to roll down the car window.

- Ruby says she'll roll down the window, but the area is a bit dangerous.

- Ava asks Ruby to lower the air conditioner temperature instead.

- The car's tire gets punctured, and Ruby warns Ava not to go outside, as it might be a trap.

- Ava says she'll change the tire and tells Ruby to stay inside the car.

- Ava changes the tire, and a group of robbers appears, surrounding her.

Act IV: Falling Action

- Ava ignores the robbers' demands and drives away.

- The robbers chase Ava, but she outsmarts them and keeps Ruby safe.

- Kallu, one of the robbers, says that Ava and Ruby are smarter than they thought and that they underestimated them.

MAIN STORY:

Ava and Ruby set out in a separate car, with Ruby driving herself. Ava asks her, "Are you sure you remember the way?" Ruby replies, "Yes, I remember the way." Just then, Ruby receives a call from Suresh, who tells her to take a shortcut as there is construction work on the main road. Ruby expresses her concern about taking the shortcut, citing the risk of robbers and attacks. Suresh reassures her that their car is following hers, so she shouldn't worry.

Ruby asks Suresh if he knows where they are headed, and he confirms that they are going to Mansuri. Suresh mentions that the journey from New Delhi to Mansuri will take time and suggests that they should have booked a flight instead. Ruby responds that she wanted to drive for the fun of it, to which Suresh replies that her idea of fun might put them in trouble. He advises her to focus on driving safely and ends the call.

Ava asks Ruby if they are headed to Mansuri, and Ruby confirms. Ava seems unenthusiastic, and Ruby notices that she has become quiet after hearing the name Mansuri. As the journey continues, Ava starts to feel sleepy and eventually dozes off.

In her dream, Ava finds herself as a five-year-old, sitting in front of a lady with a blurred face, who is singing a song to her. Ava's eyes flutter open, and she finds herself standing in the middle of a road at the age of twelve. She watches as a car speeds past her, and she screams "Mom!" as another car crashes into the first one. The impact is intense, and Ava rushes to the scene, but there is nothing there.

Suddenly, a man rushes towards Ava, but she wakes up before he reaches her. Ava sees that Ruby is not in the car, and the doors and windows are open. Ava gets out of the car and finds herself in a dense forest. She calls out for Ruby but gets no response.

Just then, the masked man appears in front of Ava and asks, "How are you? It's been a long time since I saw you." Ava asks the masked man where Ruby is, and he replies, "It seems you're starting to remember things." Ava hears Ruby's voice and sees her tied to a tree. Ava tells the masked man to let Ruby go, but he shoots Ruby instead. Ava screams and wakes up to find Ruby driving the car, realizing it was just a nightmare. Ava thanks God, relieved that it was just a dream.

Ruby sees that Ava has woken up and asks her, "Are you hungry?" Ava replies, "I'm feeling a bit warm, can you please roll down the car window?" Ruby says, "I can roll down the window, but this area is a bit dangerous. There are a lot of robbers here who attack people and steal their belongings."

Ava says, "Okay, then can you just lower the air conditioner temperature to make it cooler?" Ruby agrees and says, "Yes, I can do that." Ruby looks at Ava and asks, "Are you okay? You look a bit unwell." Ava replies, "I'm fine, I just had a bad dream."

As they continue talking, the car's tire suddenly gets punctured, and the car comes to a halt. Ava asks Ruby, "What happened?" Ruby replies, "It looks like the tire got punctured." Ava says, "Now what?" Ruby warns her, "Don't go outside, it might be a trap set by those robbers."

Ava asks, "Which robbers?" Ruby replies, "The ones who dangerous people." Ava says, "Okay, but I'll go change the tire. You stay inside the car and if you see anything suspicious, let me know." Ruby agrees, but Ava reassures her, "Don't worry, it'll only take me two minutes to change the tire."

As Ava steps out of the car to change the tire, a group of robbers appears out of nowhere, surrounding her. They look menacing, armed with dangerous weapons. One of the robbers, named Kallu, approaches Ava and says, "You look like a girl, and there's probably another girl inside the car. That's why I'm sparing the car, but hand over all the valuable items you have. And for your safety, leave a phone behind, okay? Now, go get the stuff from the car and hand it over to us."

Ava ignores their demands and continues to change the tire. Once she's done, she stands up, gets into the car, and pushes Ruby out of the driver's seat to take control of the wheel.

Another robber says, "Looks like you didn't understand what we're saying." Ava starts the car, and just as the robbers are about to attack, she speeds off towards them, forcing them to scatter. The robbers are left stunned, watching as Ava drives away.

Kallu makes a call to someone, saying, "These girls are smarter than we thought, especially that tomboy. We underestimated them."
