Sylvie

Chapter 21: “Chaos Reigns.” – Part 1.

Mentally exhausted from her ‘third’ eye being open for hours along with her normal visions, Sylvie had closed her eyes and begun meditating when she heard a pleasing purr come from her right.  Of all the things and Casey did well, her ability to bring Sylvie out of whatever mood or thought she was milling over with a simple sound warmed the elder vampiress all over.  Although sunset was still not upon the couple, Sylvie didn’t hesitate to allocate some of her blood to relieve her mind and clear her senses so she could focus on Casey.  Fluttering her eyes open, Sylvie turned her head slightly and let out her own little teasing and iron-scented breath close to Casey’s lips. “Mmm, what is on your mind, Casey?”  Sylvie lightly chirped and reached for her lover’s hand.

-Why are you shaking, Rivers?  Look at her, those eyes with little rims of white smiling back at you..and…and…hold it together…she..she…she saved your mother.  That wonderfully perplexing artist…-

It took a gentle touch from Sylvie’s hands to break Casey out of her internal thoughts.  “You saved my mom; I don’t know how to thank you.”  Casey reached for Sylvie’s hands and kissed them both lightly. “Then I saw you, the contour of your cheeks and neck….”  Casey purred once more, “…and…and…felt the love we’ve shared in the last few days.”  Casey scooted close enough so that their foreheads touched lightly. “That little thought about our love made me think deeper about everything I saw between Vivienne and Faye.”

Placing her hand on Casey’s cheek and swaying her fingers across her partners' smooth skin, Sylvie blinked slowly and hooked her lip in her fang for a second, “What do you mean, Casey?  Remember I saw things with the two of them as well.”  Sylvie slid her finger the length of Casey’s nose and smiled warmly. “If not for those visions, I wouldn’t have met you.” Caressing Casey’s shoulder, Sylvie furled her eyebrows and asked, “Tell me why you are thinking deeply about those two.”

Tracing the outline of Sylvie’s chin by memory, Casey cooed lightly when her partner started gently scratching her arm in little circles. “That did sound a little confusing, didn’t it?”  Casey quietly inquired between them.  It was the smile that appeared on Sylvie’s face that told her that while what she said was confusing, her lover – girlfriend – creator and best friend knew what Casey was thinking. “Want me to explain it?”  Casey offered politely, although due to the butterflies rummaging in her tummy and the look in Sylvie’s lunar eyes told her everything she needed.

Shifting enough so she could kiss Casey’s fingers as they traced the lines on her chin, Sylvie kept her loving grin in place and barely spoke, “You seem to want to, Casey.  You are adorable like this cocoa-muffin.”  She blinked her eyes slowly and let out a content sigh, “Yes, tell me…if you please.”

“You got that from Vivienne.”  Casey commented and lightly giggled between them. “Are you disappointed that we aren’t as close as they are?”  Casey asked and sheepishly looked away from Sylvie’s heavenly eyes, feeling guilty for the question. “I lived with them for nearly a year.  Everything Vivienne said ended with ‘My love’ when it came to Faye.  They were close before Denise, now sickeningly unbreakable since.”  Casey shrugged and looked up, anxious to see Sylvie’s eyes once more. “I wonder if you are disappointed that I am not all sweet words and all over you like a blanket.”  She took a breath and then added, “Then you go and save my mother…how do I come close to repaying that?”  Casey raised one of her lovely well-shaped and arched eyebrows. “My ginger-jam.”

Hearing the yearning behind the questions she asked, Sylvie slowly pressed her lips one gentle time to Casey’s, then after a cute coo, pulled back and sat up in their bed, crossing her legs. “First.  Casey…you don’t ever have to repay me for things I do for you…”  Sylvie put her hand over her own chest and patted lightly. “I do these things because, you are my friend and the woman I love.  Equally and uncompromising.”  Sylvie saw Casey’s sunlight-enhanced eyes blinking slowly, filling her with adoration. “So don’t even think about it.  What is done, is done.  I am glad to have been able to help her.  Jennifer is a lovely and unique woman.”

Casey snorted, “Unique.  I love your diplomacy.”

“I come by it naturally.” Sylvie giggled and flipped her cornrowed hair behind her playfully. “Okay, where were we?”

Casey sighed and pulled herself up to mirror Sylvie, “Thinking about how Vivienne and Faye gush all over each other.”

Scooching up and settling herself in Casey’s lap, Sylvie wrapped her feet around her girlfriend’s waist. “Is this what you desire?”  Sylvie playfully winked and tightened her legs around Casey.

Shaking her head hard enough to make her strawberry-copper hair land in her face, Casey added, “Not really…but, that is nice.”  She took a deep breath and got a nose full of spiced apples. “I don’t think sex or sexual desire is anything to concern ourselves with.”  Casey paused and licked Sylvie’s chin and watched the older vampire break out in chills and her nipples push up gently from her gown. “See?”  Casey teased.  “We have no issues there, Sylvie.”

Unable to initially form words after having Casey’s tongue tantalize and raise her body temperature to near boiling, Sylvie stammered a few words. “I..um…what…no..no…no, um…issues.  Right.”  Sylvie without knowing why was touching her chin where the little blood-enhanced saliva still felt a little damp. “T-th-then what are you getting at, C-Casey.”  She fanned herself, “Are you sure you aren’t some beautiful fallen angel?”

Cutely laughing at Sylvie’s heated reaction, Casey breathed deep and blew out a stream of cool air across Sylvie’s neck. “That should cool you a little, right?”  She winked playfully and suddenly saw Sylvie lick her fangs. “I..um, that was ..are you…”  Casey slung her arms around Sylvie’s neck, “..That was sexy, Sylvie..”  Casey shut up and kissed and licked Sylvie’s perfectly curved ear. “Though…”  Casey grunted and pulled herself back, “Not a fallen angel, dear.  Just a confused girlfriend is all.”

Knowing that if she fell into Casey’s arms, she wouldn’t move until they both reached multiple orgasms, Sylvie unwrapped herself from Casey’s lap and folded her arms. “We’ve talked at length about a great many things before you left me to go to France.”  She held up a finger, “Which I did ask you not to do.”  Sylvie twisted and pulled the tiny contacts out of their case and looked up at Casey. “If we aren’t going any further, then let me be practical and get this book saved.”

Tilting her head to the side and smiling, Casey swore she felt her dead heart being overrun by the butterflies in her tummy.  Clasping her hands together and pressing them to her lips, Casey admired the way her lover could transition from one thing to another without much hesitation and purred after her thought subsided. “We can go further..mmhm..”  Casey clicked the roof of her mouth playfully, “I am getting the dirty little librarian vibe from you right now.”
