chapter 3
3 – Getting Started
The Imperial Knights are always understaffed. This is because the battle is never ending due to the orcs invading the empire to rob fertile land and food, and the demons invading to destroy Middle-earth through the dimensional rift. So the Templars often send appointment letters to talented people.
I looked at the appointment letter in awe. Because I spent a lot of time on the battlefield in my previous life, the screening results must have been better than others. But a letter of appointment… Doesn’t this mean that I, the 19-year-old second son of the marquis, will be conscripted immediately?
Words are appointments. It was no different from a notice of forced conscription. If it was an ordinary knights’ order, it would have been possible to use the authority of the family to get rid of it. However, the 1st Knights of the Empire is a knights’ order directly under the imperial family, and is out of reach of the marquis family.
Normally, entering the 1st Order of Knights is a family honor for nobles and a shortcut to success for commoners, but it was difficult for me. I have to go to the academy with Irelle, but if I join the knights, I won’t be able to enter the academy.
In the world after the comics, I have to be strong to live the life I want while dating to my heart’s content, but it was embarrassing to spend a lot of time with the main character.
Turbuck- turbuck
The weak way to the 1st Knight Commander’s Office.
I ran into two familiar faces. It was the vice-captain Lewis and the two knights beside him. The two were sitting in the lounge on the first floor. The red-haired giant waved his hands and spoke enthusiastically, while the dark-haired middle-aged man with a handsome beard played with his mustache and listened in boredom.
I was thinking about whether I should say hello, but suddenly a giant beckoned me.
“Hey, greasy fellow!”
“…You mean me?”
“Okay. Let’s talk for a minute.”
As soon as we sat down, the giant lowered his voice and spoke seriously.
“I’m asking because I like young girls like him and I. So don’t be shy and tell me.”
“Two of you, one young lady…?”
“Who do you think will be better, this guy or me?”
I looked at the two in turn. The knight with an impressive mustache was a typical handsome man, and Geohan had an ugly face, perhaps because his parents didn’t give birth to him with great care, but his smile seemed pompous.
“They’re both really handsome.”
The giant nodded his head as if it were natural.
“Isn’t that right? You have eyes that see. I’d rather have one that’s significantly better. There’s no need to worry. It’s worrying because they both look alike.”
“I’m afraid to tell you.”
I was a newcomer who hadn’t even joined the knights yet, and the other side was a noble with the same accent, and they were knights who had been on the battlefield for a long time, so I was embarrassed.
“They both have charms…”
“It’s not going up, what are you doing here?”
Vice-captain Lewis cut me off and entered.
“Then let’s go.”
Fearing that he would tell me to leave after answering, I greeted him and immediately moved on.
I went up to the 4th floor where the leader’s office was.
When I went up to the 4th floor, a hallway with an elegant interior that was different from the floors below appeared. On both sides of the wall, there are framed paintings of former knight commanders lined up. Among the many leaders, there were also my ancestors.
I paused in front of him, then walked back to the room at the end of the hallway.
One of the knights guarding the door saw me and knocked on door number two. After waiting for a while, the driver opened the door as if he had signaled to come inside.
Looking inside, through the papers, I see a face I’ve seen from a distance several times in my previous life. Duke Henrietta, who was the only one of two human beings to be a Grand Sword Master and was called the Imperial Sword and died fighting the Demon Lord of Trepidation in her previous life, was staring at me.
“Hello. I’m Robert, the second son of Alberga.”
After greeting, the leader handed out the documents. It was an introductory letter. I raised my head to see if I would accept it if I refused, and my eyes met with the leader. I was scared, so I just signed the contract.
I didn’t show any energy, I didn’t say anything, but I was just scared. As if a dog would urinate when he saw the dog seller, his body trembled even though their eyes met. I wondered what the hell was going on with the emperor and why a monster half-transcending humans had the title of leader.
He turned his attention to me when the business was over, and I went outside, led by a knight approaching from behind, and returned to the mansion in a carriage.

Irrel snooped around Robert’s study. Through the open door, I could see the profile of Robert sitting in a chair.
The ladies-in-waiting next to her pushed her back.
“Go in quickly. Mr. Irelle.”
“Don’t push. It’s because I haven’t cleaned up yet.”
“The tea has cooled down while you’re clearing your mind.”
Ir El looked down at her car with a puzzled expression.
“Should I make it again?”
“Is this your second car?”
She sighed, leaving her maid-servant behind her back.
In the end, Ir El, who made up her mind, went into her study with her tea. Robert, who was lost in thought, felt a presence and stood up. I was taken aback by his handsome appearance.
“Congratulations on joining the 1st Knights.”
“Thank you.”
My heart skipped a beat when I saw him smile. I was worried that maybe my heartbeat would be too loud and they would laugh at me, but he laughed and said,
“By the way, Irelle used to speak casually. Why are you suddenly using honorifics since yesterday?
Originally, Irrell in my body spoke casually, but I was too awkward, so I used honorifics for Robert. He secretly pinched her thighs with her fingernails, trying to bring her to her senses to answer.
“Hmmm.. Wouldn’t it be better to say it instead of talking as usual?”
She was cute when she stuttered with her new red face. Right now, she’s so pure, but after a while, she’s wearing more than 10 men. After making fun of her flustered girl, she told her that she was going to visit her family this week.
I was lost in her thoughts as I watched her run away hesitantly.
Children are usually nice. It’s because I haven’t had a bad idea yet. I use it when my mom doesn’t listen to her, but I don’t say she’s bad because it doesn’t cause much harm to others. A farmer living in a rural area where people don’t come often doesn’t think of doing anything bad. That is why children and farmers are all considered good. Because no one gets hurt by them.
The same goes for this cartoon. She is nice She can’t even think of retaliating against the villains who get her into trouble. There are no victims as she breaks up her many engagements while meeting several men, as they are her supporting characters for her. So, she, her writers, and her readers all think she’s good. Because she doesn’t have people who hurt her.
No one feels strange or thinks of escaping in the human relations around the main character, which is created by the author. Except for me.
After returning, I felt that my thoughts had changed. Seeing you soaked in emotions like this.
Her I once hated her. I hated her for stealing the body of her fiancée, or maybe killing her fiancée.
But I hope she’s happy because she’s basically a good person. She will try to make it so. Even if we can’t prevent the world from perishing, we can save one person’s life.
I also passed the academy with Iru-El, and she was supposed to go to the academy from tomorrow, but she was forced to enter the academy alone because she was forced to join her knights. Half of her excitement, half of her worry, she took her to the front gate of her academy, and her world was filled with lines as if drawn with a pencil.
At the age of 19, she attained Sword Mastery, and entering the First Order was quite an issue even among her nobles. The students who recognized me whispered. I got down on one knee when I felt that many people were watching me.
The mansion I’m staying in and the academy are in the same capital, so they’re not far apart. However, since the academy has to live in a dormitory and outsiders are strictly prohibited from entering, it is hard to meet because I will be busy with the life of the Knights.
My existence may be forgotten as she has about 10 attractive boyfriends as she lives in the academy. So, I prepared an event in front of readers and people to make it a hot topic both inside the academy and outside of the manga.
She smiled and pulled out her ring as she suddenly looked at me in bewilderment as she knelt down on her one knee.
Wearing expensive clothes for this moment, I called someone early in the morning to get my hair done and put on makeup.
He took her left hand. I felt a slight trembling as if I was nervous. She said as she put the engagement ring she had prepared on her ring finger.
“I will never let you go. I promise you with my heart.”
When I finished my words, cheers and applause rang out from around me.
She said, waving her hand as she entered her academy amidst the constant whistling and applause.
“Don’t date other men besides me.”
That’s not going to happen, though.
