Chapter 477: Chapter 477: Akatsuki vs. the Five Great Shinobi Villages (Conclusion)

"What a pair of loyal companions," Daniel Davis muttered, shaking his head in exasperation as he watched Madara Uchiha vanish. His gaze then shifted to Tobirama Senju, who stood frozen, clearly stunned by the fact that Madara possessed the Rinnegan.

As the Second Hokage, Tobirama had never seen the Rinnegan in person, but he was well aware of its legends.

"Well, now that everything's finally settled, let's head back," Daniel said as he opened a golden portal, leading his group to Orochimaru's southern base.

"You two must have things to discuss, so I won't interrupt. Orochimaru, let's talk."

"Sure."

"The Sound Village can join Akatsuki, but what's in it for me?" Orochimaru asked directly as soon as they reached the main hall.

The Akatsuki was now an unstoppable force. The Five Great Shinobi Villages no longer had the strength to resist, and the Land of Rice Fields, where the Sound Village resided, would soon fall under Akatsuki's control. Orochimaru wasn't overly attached to the Sound Village, but its involvement would make Akatsuki's takeover easier.

"Akatsuki will fund your research and won't interfere with your work, even if it involves human experimentation. Criminals sentenced to death are never in short supply," Daniel offered.

For someone like Orochimaru, who was more passionate about research than power, this was an attractive deal. In fact, had the Third Hokage negotiated properly with him back then, Orochimaru might have willingly stepped aside in the competition to become the Fourth Hokage.

The negotiation went smoothly. Daniel wasn't trying to fully recruit Orochimaru into Akatsuki; Orochimaru had no desire to join the organization, knowing that Akatsuki's control over the ninja world would come with restrictions. Orochimaru's experiments were far too controversial for most people to accept.

Thus, the relationship between Akatsuki and Orochimaru would be more of a mutually beneficial transaction. Orochimaru would share the results of some of his research in exchange for Akatsuki's support, while Akatsuki wouldn't interfere with his activities. Orochimaru, in return, had to ensure his experiments didn't openly violate Akatsuki's rules, keeping everything under the radar.

Orochimaru's research, though often fueled by personal interest, contained valuable breakthroughs. His human experimentation, for example, had the potential to greatly advance medical ninjutsu. Similarly, Sasori's technique of turning himself into a puppet, leaving only his heart, was a remarkable achievement that could benefit medical science, allowing more lives to be saved.

"Is it Isobu, the Three-Tails?" Daniel asked, having learned of its location from Orochimaru during their conversation.

Orochimaru had discovered the Three-Tails long ago but hadn't attempted to capture it, as he had no means to control the beast. He had been searching for someone compatible with Isobu and eventually found Yukimaru, intending to make him the Three-Tails Jinchūriki.

However, with Kushina Uzumaki, the legitimate princess of the Uzumaki clan, and Minato Namikaze, the process of creating a new Three-Tails Jinchūriki would be far easier.

The current sealing techniques used by the Five Great Shinobi Villages to create Jinchūriki were originally stolen and modified versions of the Uzumaki clan's methods. Despite the modifications, they still fell short compared to the original Uzumaki seals.

The sealing technique was crucial for Jinchūriki. Without it, if the tailed beast lost control, it could not only kill its host but also cause massive destruction.

For example, the previous Eight-Tails Jinchūriki of the Hidden Cloud Village had been driven to mental instability by Orochimaru's manipulation, leading to a rampage by the Eight-Tails. Orochimaru's role in destabilizing the Cloud Village indirectly benefited Konoha.

"Fourth Hokage, Kushina must have told you everything by now. What are your plans?" After leaving Orochimaru, Daniel met with Minato and Kushina at the fortress.

"I hope we can avoid causing too much damage to Konoha," Minato replied. After talking with Kushina, he now understood the current situation in the ninja world. The power Akatsuki wielded was overwhelming, far beyond that of the Five Great Shinobi Villages.

Even if Minato stood with Konoha, the outcome wouldn't change. Akatsuki had two Rinnegan wielders, and without Sage Mode, it was nearly impossible to harm them. Minato hadn't had time to train in Sage Mode before his untimely death.

And there was the possibility that Akatsuki had more Edo Tensei resurrected warriors at their disposal.

Despite the falling out between Minato and the other Hokage, he was still the Fourth Hokage of Konoha.

"You should speak to the Konoha leadership about that. If they accept Akatsuki's rule, there's no need for war. Akatsuki doesn't desire conflict for its own sake."

Daniel had no illusions about ending war permanently. To him, anyone claiming to solve war once and for all was too arrogant. Even in his previous world, after millennia of development, modern society still couldn't eradicate war, let alone the shinobi world.

Just like in the Marvel universe, where countless scientists sought to solve humanity's evolution problems once and for all, the result was often more chaos. Companies like Umbrella Corporation pursued these goals, but their actions only led to more conflict.

Even with Daniel's current power, he couldn't solve the issue of human evolution. Major empires in the Marvel universe had taken millennia to reach their current state, and even they hadn't solved their own evolutionary challenges.

The idea of universal progress benefiting all was a joke—those at the top always reaped the rewards first, while the rest were left behind.

"I'll discuss it with Lady Tsunade."

"If you can manage that, it would be ideal. In the meantime, you two must want to see Naruto. Let me send you on your way." Daniel opened another portal, this one leading to Ramen Ichiraku on the outskirts of Konoha.

"Thank you." Minato gave Daniel a deep look before he and Kushina stepped through the portal.

"Aren't you worried they won't come back?" Sasuke Uchiha asked, stepping out from the shadows.

"It doesn't matter. Even if they side with Konoha now, Akatsuki's forces are unstoppable. Their choice is theirs to make, just like you. If you decide to stand with Konoha, I wouldn't be surprised either."

"Don't joke around. I'll return to Konoha, but as its Hokage," Sasuke replied.

Even under Akatsuki's rule, the leaders of the five villages would still be known as the Kage. There was no need for drastic changes.

"At the upcoming celebration, the Five Great Shinobi Villages will definitely make a move. If I'm right, Itachi will act as well. When that happens, he's yours to deal with."

"I'll kill him with my own hands."

"Remember, during the battle with Tobi, even though he didn't capture both the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails, he still managed to fuse enough chakra to become an incomplete Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. This means that even without capturing all nine tailed beasts, you can still create a false Ten-Tails or a false Divine Tree if you have their chakra."

After Sasuke left, Daniel began recalling everything he knew about the tailed beasts and the Divine Tree.

"The Divine Tree can absorb life force to grow. This means it could be similar to the pseudo-Jinchūriki—just a fragment of the real thing. If that's the case, the Otsutsuki clan's home might have the real Divine Tree."

"Kaguya Otsutsuki… what a troublesome figure." The Divine Tree was originally just that—a tree. But after Kaguya merged with it, things became much more complicated. Now, in a sense, the Divine Tree was also Kaguya herself. This worried Daniel.

The tree's ability to absorb life force wasn't a concern for Daniel, as the One Piece world was filled with massive Sea Kings that could feed the tree. Perhaps they could even grow a new Chakra Fruit faster that way.

However, if the tree was also Kaguya, feeding it too much life force might awaken her again. Even though this was just a possibility, Daniel didn't want to take any chances.

It was similar to resurrecting the four Hokage. Although it seemed risky, everything had been under Daniel's control. Even if the Hokage and Madara joined forces, Daniel was confident he could handle them. That's why he dared to revive them in the first place.

If his power hadn't been sufficient, he would never have risked resurrecting them—even Minato, the Fourth Hokage.

"Let's see if we can grow a new Divine Tree first." Growing a new tree would undoubtedly be more challenging than using an existing one, and it would require more life force, but it was much safer than dealing with Kaguya.

As for life force, Daniel had plenty of it. The Sea Kings from One Piece, the dangerous beasts from Akame ga Kill!, and the Dark Continent from the Hunter world all had creatures with immense life force. Daniel could use the Divine Tree to clear out some of the dangerous species from Akame ga Kill!.

Just like how the land creatures in the One Piece world couldn't compare to the Sea Kings, the ocean in

Akame ga Kill! was home to even more dangerous species.

"They're lucky. They'll get to eat Chakra Fruits, while I might not need them anymore." As Daniel thought about the Chakra Fruits, his mind immediately went to Eida and the others. Something so powerful was reserved only for those truly loyal to him.

"Maybe one day, I can use the Divine Tree to clear out the Dark Continent. That would be interesting."

Not only could the Divine Tree absorb life force from powerful creatures, but it could also drain life from entire planets. There were countless uninhabited planets in the universe where the tree could be planted.

The Otsutsuki clan likely didn't bother with this because it wasn't efficient enough. Like capitalists seeking quick profits, they wanted fast returns. They were more interested in reaping immediate rewards than in long-term sustainability.

It's like investing: would you rather wait ten years for a return or make ten times the profit tomorrow? The choice is obvious. And for the Otsutsuki, it didn't matter if they killed the golden goose; they could always find another.

"Now, let's wake Isobu." Floating in the air, Daniel gazed down at the large lake beneath him. Forming hand signs, a massive 50-meter-long water dragon shot up from the lake, diving back in to churn the water violently. This was the Water Dragon Bullet Jutsu.

The Three-Tails, Isobu, was hiding beneath the surface of the lake. To force it out, Daniel stirred the entire body of water. Deidara had used a deep-water bomb to rouse Isobu; Daniel preferred using a water dragon.

Roar.

With the lake in turmoil, a loud roar echoed as a massive turtle-like creature with three tails emerged from the water.

"If I remember correctly, the Samehada sword was said to be Isobu's companion fish," Daniel thought as he sent the water dragon charging toward the Three-Tails.

"Bijuu Bomb." As the water dragon closed in, Isobu opened its mouth wide, gathering a massive amount of chakra. A black, spherical Bijuu Bomb formed before it.

Boom.

The collision of the Bijuu Bomb and the Water Dragon Bullet created waves several meters high, which crashed outward from the lake, accompanied by a torrential downpour and howling winds.

"Quick reflexes, but your luck runs out today. Wood Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu." As Daniel formed hand signs, a massive wooden dragon shot out from above, coiling around the Three-Tails and binding it tightly.

The Three-Tails struggled fiercely, but its movements gradually weakened. Wood Release, after all, was the tailed beasts' natural weakness.

"Too bad it's just a chakra construct. Otherwise, I could create a Zoan-type tailed beast Devil Fruit. It'd likely be classified as a Mythical Zoan." With that thought, Daniel sealed Isobu away with remarkable ease.

"Minato, I'm sorry." Outside Ramen Ichiraku, Kushina gazed at Minato with a complicated expression. Just as Minato had supported her unconditionally, Kushina didn't want to make things difficult for him.

"We're husband and wife. There's no need for apologies. Besides, this is the best way to end the war in the shinobi world, and Konoha hasn't disappeared, has it? Now, let's go see Naruto. I wonder who he takes after more."

"Of course, he takes after me."

"No way, it's obviously me."

"What did you say?"

As Kushina's hair began to float ominously behind her, Minato quickly apologized, sensing danger.

"Right now, Naruto should be training at Ryuchi Cave, right?"

"Training at Ryuchi Cave, huh? Let's see our son first, and then we can talk to Tsunade," Minato said, a nostalgic smile crossing his face. That training period had been one of his happiest times, with Kushina always by his side, cooking for him.

Naruto's training, by comparison, had been far more grueling. While Sakura occasionally brought him food, it was mostly soldier pills—not quite the same as Kushina's cooking. Among the women in Konoha, Sakura's cooking skills were the worst, while Hinata's were the best.

"What is this?" As the two approached Ryuchi Cave, Minato's face darkened at the sight before him.

Naruto was bound in a restraint jacket, surrounded by Konoha's upper management, numerous Anbu, and several other shinobi.
