Chapter 451: Chapter 448: Tricking Black Zetsu

"You won't be escaping this time." As Obito stared in shock at Daniel and Konan, he hesitated for a brief moment, but it was enough for Daniel to seize the opportunity. Daniel moved swiftly, appearing in front of Obito and landing a solid punch to his gut, interrupting Obito's attempt to use Kamui and escape from the Kamui dimension.

For Obito, Kamui was the cornerstone of his power. It was this technique that allowed him to face the Fourth Hokage head-on in his youth and single-handedly decimate the Hidden Mist's elite forces. Without Kamui, Obito's strength would plummet by at least seventy percent.

Spatial jutsu was undoubtedly overpowered, but Daniel had no right to complain. After all, his Kamar-Taj magic had given him an extraordinary starting advantage as well.

Kamui was the essence of Obito's abilities—rendering it useless was no small feat. Much like Obito's mastery of Hashirama's cells that allowed him to abuse his Kamui powers without exhausting himself, these cells made him far more dangerous than any ordinary ninja.

"Ugh." Obito groaned, stumbling several steps back. But before he could recover, Daniel grabbed him by the throat, shattering the spiral mask on his face to reveal his scarred, disfigured right side.

"This eye is mine." Daniel declared as he reached for Obito's right eye and forcibly removed the Mangekyō Sharingan from its socket. This time, Daniel didn't even bother using the powers of the Op-Op Fruit—he simply did it with his hands.

"Ah!" Obito screamed in agony, clutching at the empty socket where his eye had once been as Daniel tossed him onto one of the large cubic structures scattered within the Kamui dimension.

"Interesting... Kakashi has used his Kamui to send various objects here. I wonder if he ever hit Obito by mistake." Daniel mused, pocketing the Mangekyō Sharingan. His mind quickly shifted to Kakashi's own Mangekyō.

"I'll need to find a way to get my hands on Kakashi's eye too. If I take this eye out of this world, I wonder if Kakashi's Kamui would still function," Daniel pondered, storing Obito's eye.

While Daniel had no intention of replacing his own eyes with the Mangekyō Sharingan or the Rinnegan, he certainly saw the value in using them as tools.

"Does it hurt?" Daniel asked, turning to look at Obito, who was kneeling on the ground, clutching his face with his left hand—his right eye now a hollow socket while his left eye retained its Sharingan.

Obito, despite giving his original left eye to Kakashi, had gathered many spare Sharingan during the Uchiha Massacre and had a replacement three-tomoe Sharingan hidden beneath his mask.

"This pain is nothing," Obito replied, his voice a growl, his self-healing Hashirama cells already working to close the wound.

"Oh? Then I wonder what Rin would think if she knew you killed your own teacher and his wife." Daniel's voice was cold, pressing on Obito's emotional scar.

"Don't you dare speak of Rin!" Obito roared, losing his composure. "The Fourth Hokage… he was never there when it counted!"

"You never questioned why Minato was late, did you? Why, just as you arrived to see Rin die at Kakashi's hand, you happened to hear the report from White Zetsu and arrived just in time. And why would the Mist sacrifice a valuable Tailed Beast as a disposable tool instead of keeping it for themselves?"

Daniel's words struck a nerve, making Obito's Sharingan flare.

"What are you implying?" Obito demanded, his voice filled with rage and doubt.

"It's simple. You were played, Obito. Rin's death was orchestrated by none other than Uchiha Madara. The Tailed Beast was forcibly sealed inside Rin, ensuring she would meet Kakashi, while Madara had White Zetsu delay Minato. Madara wanted you to witness her death, to turn you into his pawn."

"You're lying!" Obito screamed, charging at Daniel in a blind rage.

But Daniel was unfazed. With a simple motion, he kicked Obito back, sending him crashing into another cubic structure. As Obito struggled to rise, Daniel flicked his wrist, and a chain shot out, binding Obito and dragging him back to Daniel's feet.

"You can't face the truth, can you? You've been used, manipulated from the start." Daniel sighed, then deftly inserted needles into Obito's pressure points, disrupting the flow of his chakra—similar to the acupuncture techniques used in The Outcast series. He then tossed Obito aside like a discarded puppet.

In the ninja world, similar techniques existed, such as sealing jutsu that suppressed chakra. However, such advanced methods were generally only available in the five great ninja villages. Smaller villages couldn't afford to be so cautious, often resorting to simply tying their prisoners up.

But high-level prisoners, like Sasuke, were another story. At the end of the series, Sasuke was placed in a full-body restraint suit, complete with complex seals. The reason Sasuke didn't break free was that he simply chose not to.

"Rin… no, that can't be true. Everything I've done… was it all for nothing? This world is hell… kill me, just kill me." Obito muttered, collapsing into despair. His life had been driven by the belief that Kakashi and Minato had failed Rin. Even though he had witnessed Rin's sacrifice firsthand, he blamed them for not protecting her.

But now, the possibility that his beloved Rin's death was orchestrated by the man he had come to idolize broke him. With his master and his hope gone, Obito wanted only to die and escape the agony.

"Deal with him as you see fit. Whether he lives or dies is up to you," Daniel said, leaving Obito's fate to Nagato and Konan. After all, Obito had been responsible for the deaths of many of their comrades, including Yahiko's death, which was indirectly tied to him.

Opening a portal, Daniel stepped through, returning to the top of the Rain Village's tower. Meanwhile, Konan dragged Obito to see Nagato, knowing that together they would decide his fate.

"So, this is Kamui. It's quite powerful. Maybe I can figure out how to turn these Sharingan into magical artifacts," Daniel mused, thinking about how wizards of Kamar-Taj could create powerful magical items like the Cloak of Levitation or the Staff of the Living Tribunal.

For now, Daniel had no intention of implanting the Mangekyō Sharingan into his own body. Turning them into powerful tools would be far easier and less disruptive. Of course, to ensure Kamui's powers weren't lost, he would need to proceed carefully.

"Looks like the One Piece world is getting a new masked figure soon," Daniel smirked, already planning how to use his newfound powers in another world. With Obito's Kamui under his control, traversing dimensions would become even easier.

When Daniel returned to meet with Nagato and Konan, he was surprised to find that Obito was still alive. The fact that Nagato and Konan had chosen to spare him spoke volumes about their capacity for mercy.

"Looks like this world really does forgive everything," Daniel mused with a chuckle. "Nagato and Konan are surprisingly kind-hearted."

Daniel's voice broke the silence. "What's the plan now?" he asked.

"I've already contacted Black Zetsu. He'll be here soon," Nagato said calmly. The Akatsuki's special rings made contacting its members remarkably easy.

"Good. Leave Black Zetsu to me. If he gets away, things will get complicated."

Nagato and Konan didn't object. As for Obito, he was in no position to voice any opinion.

"Why did you summon me so urgently?" Black Zetsu's voice sounded as he emerged from the ground beside the Deva Path and Konan.

"I've uncovered some crucial information," Deva Path said.

"What kind of information?"

"I found Uchiha Madara's body."

"Impossible!"

Just as with Obito, the moment Black Zetsu's shock registered, Daniel activated his mirror dimension, sealing Black Zetsu, Deva Path, and Konan inside.

"What is going on?" Black Zetsu demanded, glaring at Deva Path and Konan.

"You two can leave. I'll handle this from here." Daniel said, opening a portal for Konan and Deva Path to exit. They left without hesitation, leaving Daniel alone with Black Zetsu.

"Hello, Black Zetsu. Or should I call you Uchiha Madara's will? No, that's not right. You're actually Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's will, aren't you?"

Black Zetsu's face twisted in shock. For the first time in thousands of years, someone had uncovered his true identity.

"Who are you?" Black Zetsu demanded, his voice trembling with uncharacteristic fear.

"Didn't Kaguya tell you where she came from? I am Ōtsutsuki Daniel, from the same clan as your mother, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. We came from beyond the stars."

Daniel's goal was clear: he needed to extract critical information from Black Zetsu, such as the location of Madara's body, the whereabouts of the Sage of Six Paths' tools, and more.

"What… did you say? You're from Mother's clan?" Black Zetsu's voice trembled as he processed Daniel's words. His mind raced as he tried to reconcile what he had just heard. For thousands of years, Black Zetsu had believed he was alone in his mission to revive Kaguya, but now someone claiming to be from her clan stood before him.

"Yes, I am from the same Ōtsutsuki clan as Kaguya," Daniel continued, keeping his voice steady, making his lie more convincing. "When Kaguya rebelled against our clan, I too was caught in the crossfire. Like her, I sought to escape the fate of being a mere sacrificial pawn for the Divine Tree."

Black Zetsu narrowed his eyes, suspicion mixing with intrigue. "If you truly are from the Ōtsutsuki clan, why have you only appeared now?"

Daniel smiled, leaning into his fabricated backstory. "After Kaguya's defeat and sealing, I sustained heavy injuries. I had to go into hiding and recuperate for many years. Only recently have I regained enough strength to act. When I awoke, I saw that you were working towards reviving Kaguya, and I realized we share the same goal."

"You claim to be one of us," Black Zetsu said, his tone cautious, "but why should I believe you? The Ōtsutsuki are powerful, yes, but you've shown me nothing but words."

Daniel had expected this. After all, Black Zetsu had manipulated figures like Madara and Obito for centuries with his lies—he wouldn't be fooled easily. Daniel raised a hand, and with a flick of his wrist, he activated the illusion of the Rinnegan, casting a light purple glow over his eyes.

"You recognize this, don't you?" Daniel asked, his Rinnegan gleaming. "The eyes of the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Only those with true Ōtsutsuki lineage can awaken such power."

Black Zetsu's eyes widened. He had seen Madara awaken the Rinnegan, but Daniel's sudden reveal had caught him off guard. Still, he remained wary. "This… could be a trick."

"Think what you want," Daniel said with a calm smile, "but my objective aligns with yours. The only way to face the threat that is coming—the return of the Ōtsutsuki clan—is to revive Kaguya. She is our best defense."

Black Zetsu's suspicions began to wane. He had spent millennia preparing for Kaguya's resurrection, and Daniel's knowledge of the Ōtsutsuki and the Rinnegan lent credibility to his story.

"Return of the Ōtsutsuki clan?" Black Zetsu asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Yes. Your actions—the summoning of the Gedo Statue and the gathering of the Tailed Beasts—have triggered a signal. The Ōtsutsuki will sense it, and they will come to this planet to reclaim the Divine Tree."

Black Zetsu processed this new information. If what Daniel said was true, the very efforts to revive Kaguya could also lead to a larger disaster. The idea of the Ōtsutsuki clan returning to claim the planet sent a chill through him, even as he calculated his next move.

"What you're doing is reckless," Daniel continued, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "I'm not saying we abandon our goal. But you've been rushing things. We need a better plan, one that accounts for the potential arrival of our enemies."

"What do you propose?" Black Zetsu asked, intrigued despite himself.

"First, we need more than just raw power from the Tailed Beasts. We need to control the flow of events carefully. Madara's revival may be a necessary part of the process, but his ambition can't be trusted. The same goes for Obito."

At the mention of Madara and Obito, Black Zetsu's expression grew colder. "They are tools. Their ambition is meaningless compared to Mother's return."

"Exactly," Daniel said, pressing his advantage. "But the last thing we want is for Madara to become too strong or for the Ōtsutsuki clan to intervene before Kaguya is fully revived. We need to ensure that when the time comes, she is the one in control."

Black Zetsu's suspicion turned to cautious agreement. "You're suggesting we change the plan?"

"Not change, refine," Daniel replied smoothly. "Let's still revive Madara, but we'll need to keep a closer eye on him, make sure he doesn't deviate from the true purpose. And Obito..."

"I'll handle Obito," Black Zetsu interrupted, his tone dark. "He's been growing unstable, especially after learning the truth about Rin."

Daniel smiled. "Good. Then we move forward carefully. Once Madara plays his role, we proceed with reviving Kaguya, and then we'll be ready to deal with whatever comes next."

Black Zetsu nodded slowly, his thoughts swirling with possibilities. "And how do I know I can trust you?"

"You don't," Daniel said bluntly, "but you've been alone for too long, thinking you're the only one who understands Kaguya's will. I'm offering you an ally—someone who shares your knowledge of the Ōtsutsuki and your goal. You can either work with me and ensure Kaguya's resurrection or take your chances against both the ninja world and the incoming Ōtsutsuki forces."

Black Zetsu fell silent, mulling over Daniel's words. The idea of having an ally from the same clan as Kaguya was enticing, and Daniel had shown enough knowledge and power to make him pause.

"Fine," Black Zetsu said finally, his voice low and calculating. "But if you betray Mother's will, I will destroy you."

Daniel smirked, satisfied that his plan to manipulate Black Zetsu was working. "Of course. For now, let's focus on the goal: reviving Kaguya and preparing for the real threat."

With that, Daniel had successfully sowed the seeds of doubt in Black Zetsu's mind while gaining crucial information for his own purposes. The next phase of his plan was already in motion—Obito and Black Zetsu were under control, and the stage was set for the battles to come.
