Chapter 1063: Got Twisted
""Don't worry, my villa is equipped with the latest surveillance system. I can even spot a fly..."
"Okay."
Since I'm here, I might as well settle down. Sometimes, letting go of my own views is a good exercise, and Hao Jian understood all of Sofia's concerns.
This is the kind of situation where refusal is out of the question and not something he wants to refuse.
"Hehe!"
Seeing Hao Jian agree with her, Sofia felt relieved and smiled at him. She was indeed worried that Hao Jian wouldn't listen to her.
The car raced down the road, and half an hour later, they arrived at Sofia's place. Hao Jian marveled at the residence, which was comparable to Felix's estate.
After all, these people know how to enjoy life. These casually sprawling buildings covering acres could only be managed by people like them. If it were in Huaxia, wanting to use acre of land to build a personal estate would require some scrutiny, unless it's for business, then it wouldn't be too complicated.
In the following days, Hao Jian lived at Sofia's home. Just as Hao Jian said, no trouble arose, and even when Sofia went to the company, the employees didn't say much. Their expressions suggested they'd been warned by someone.
Observing this, Sofia became more curious about Hao Jian's identity. Is he really such a high-ranking King of Mercenary? Why are the government agencies afraid to confront Hao Jian?
After all, he's a killer, and not just any typical figure! The government's calm response left Sofia puzzled. Previously, if anything happened to their company, those guys would rush to find solid evidence immediately.
But this thought wandered in her mind briefly before she dismissed it. As long as Hao Jian was safe, she wouldn't concern herself with other matters.
"Hey, why are you back home so early today?"
When Sofia returned home, she saw Hao Jian had moved a wicker chair to the balcony, swaying and reading a book, munching on almonds.
Upon hearing the door open, Hao Jian glanced over, saw Sofia, and immediately smiled, gesturing to her.
"Today's workload was light, so I came back early."
Seeing Hao Jian enjoying himself so much, Sofia chuckled and curiously glanced at the wicker chair under him, asking, "Where did you get this wicker chair? My house doesn't have anything like this."
"In the afternoon, I ran to Chinatown and saw it. It wasn't expensive, so I brought it back. Unfortunately, there was only one, or I'd have gotten one for you too."
Spreading his hands, Hao Jian had begun to feel somewhat cooped up in Sofia's home after staying for several days. After all, this girl wouldn't let him leave, fearing something might happen.
Even when he explained himself thoroughly, she still wouldn't relent, leaving Hao Jian to comply with her wishes: staying in the villa without stepping out.
If it were anyone else trying to restrict his freedom like this, Hao Jian would have knocked them out with a punch long ago. However, since Sofia's actions were for his safety, he couldn't refute her views and decided to stay in for the time being.
But as time went by, Hao Jian increasingly felt bored, cooped up in the villa filled with nothing but TVs and computers and other things that he'd long been tired of.
So that afternoon he seized the opportunity to sneak out and brought back a wicker chair. Even Hao Jian couldn't identify the material used, but he found it intriguing and brought it home, spending a hefty ten thousand US Dollars.
Yet it was merely a wicker chair of unknown origin, and though Hao Jian conducted several experiments with it, the results were not impressive.
"You went out again..."
Sofia, knowing she couldn't keep Hao Jian restrained, wasn't surprised upon hearing him say he had gone out. If he stayed cooped up any longer, something unforeseen might occur.
Besides, given Hao Jian's prowess, short of a bomb detonating nearby, he'd most likely survive.
"Haha, let's not dwell on that. Want to try the wicker chair? Though I don't know what it's made of, it sure feels comfortable."
Touching his nose, Hao Jian didn't plan to linger on the topic, quickly diverting the conversation, pointing to the wicker chair and smiling at Sofia.
"I've been staying with you for quite a while now. Your employees might think of you as my woman!" Suddenly, it occurred to Hao Jian.
He walked with Sofia without disguising it, and many witnesses saw him and Sofia entering Sofia's estate.
Until now, he hadn't officially left the house aside from sneaking out, and in others' eyes, he was just a man who'd been living at Sofia's house for three or four days.
Previously, Sofia wouldn't even think of bringing a man home. Just looking at how fiercely Will pursued her, she seemed gentle but was actually quite aloof.
Yet, all of that changed when Hao Jian arrived! An abnormality in a woman only reveals itself when she has someone she likes nearby.
"Let them say what they want; I won't lose any flesh over it."
Imitating Hao Jian, Sofia spread her hands, placing her LV bag on the adjacent sofa, and walked over towards Hao Jian. Truth be told, she had never enjoyed a wicker chair before or knew what it felt like. Her upbringing had always been under her parents' watch.
"Haha!"
Hearing Sofia's carefree response, Hao Jian laughed heartily.
After the laughter, he prepared to get up from the wicker chair. Sofia was just meters away from him, and since he had no use for the chair, plus he would soon leave the USA, he figured he might as well leave it for Sofia.
But before leaving, he had to let Sofia try it.
"Whoa!"
As Hao Jian stood up, Sofia stepped in front of the wicker chair; wearing high heels, her ankle twisted and she toppled straight onto Hao Jian.
The incident occurred too abruptly for Hao Jian to react, leaving Sofia to fall right onto him, her soft front crashing into his face...
This...this...
Sofia was shocked frozen by the unexpected situation, her pretty face blank, unaware she was squashing Hao Jian beneath her. Her softness enveloped Hao Jian's face, ignorant of his increasingly reddening complexion...
"Hey, how long are you planning to stay like this? I'm almost suffocated by you..."
Turning his head, Hao Jian finally managed to escape Sofia's softness and spoke helplessly, meanwhile poking Sofia's shoulder.
Normally, Hao Jian wouldn't mind savoring the moment longer, but now Sofia's round, full thighs were rubbing against Little Hao Jian...
Even with his strong willpower, Hao Jian's body couldn't help but react, making him decide to remind a shocked Sofia to avoid further embarrassment.
"Ah!"
Reminded by Hao Jian, Sofia finally snapped out of it, resembling a cat with its tail stepped on, springing out immediately.
How embarrassing!
Awash with Hao Jian's lingering warmth, Sofia's face reddened like ripe apple. Yet when her feet landed on the floor, a sharp pain shot up, causing her forehead to break out in cold sweat, and she involuntarily collapsed towards Hao Jian again.
It hurts so much...
"Oh my!"
Just planning to take a breath and calm his heart, Hao Jian suddenly saw Sofia tumbling again, his expression changed drastically.
"Bang!"
The result was obvious—Sofia once again crashed onto Hao Jian, pinning him onto the wicker chair at that awkward spot...
"Hey, Sofia girl, are you addicted to this or what?"
Hao Jian was quite helpless.
Sofia glared fiercely at Hao Jian; this guy had taken advantage of her so much today.
"Hehe..."
Embarrassed, Hao Jian rubbed his nose, intending to stand up, but when he noticed Sofia's painful frown, he looked at her heel.
Her left ankle was noticeably red, swollen far more than a normal ankle.
Seeing this, Hao Jian understood why the girl had fallen twice; he gently reached out and helped Sofia up. Then, amid Sofia's puzzled gaze, he flipped his body away from the wicker chair, letting Sofia sit steadily on it.
