Supreme Origin: Time King

Chapter 252: XXII The Tournament's Conclusion

Ding!

The moment the battle started, Elijah dashed forward. His phone melted in his waist, before it transformed into a black-gold belt. A fist clad in gold came straight at him, Elijah only had time to pick a small gem from his left pocket and insert on the belt.

Lesser Origin of Flight!

Dragon form!

Golden energy burst forth, the ground shook as a pair of huge scaled wings spread out from Yawen's back. While a thin layer of white glow was transmitted from the belt to Elijah, who felt his body lighter as he floated away.

Seeing Elijah trying to evade her blow, the smile on her face was replaced by a dark grin."No you aren't going away."

She pressed her palm forward, and Elijah was shot through several miles before got to stand. Wiping away the blood on the corner of his lips. Elijah mobilized the flow of time in this separate dimension.

"Time acceleration!" He shouted loudly before his figure blurred. Far away, Yawen felt intense danger and the scales on her body released a nearly solid golden light that luckily managed to block a few of thousand fist lights flying at her.

Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!

Accelerating time, Elijah gave no way for Yawen to find any openings and she quickly retreated. In reality, she could easily use the stellar dragon's claw second stage to break his consecutive attacks, but she worried it would hurt him too badly as he was in a weakened state and had no energy to protect his insides.

Evelynne knew Elijah's evaluation of Elliot, and that she had no chances of winning against him. She turned to see the situation of the stage and she found Elijah and Yawen exchanging blows at immense speed far away. Both of them had concentrated what they could in their punches to deal the greatest amount of damage in a small area instead of releasing energies and strength uncontrollably.

"Directional Gravity Domain." After thinking for a long time, did she realized the reason Elijah gave her the lesser origin. Being star deities, both her and Ava were greatly talented in the laws of gravity, compression and fusion. However, Ava could use the three laws to greatly increase the power of her natural fire while Evelynne couldn't, instead she could increase the gravity eight times what Ava could.

"What is happening with me? I feel so heavy." Elliot blinked his big eyes. Suddenly a huge weight was put over him, making it hard to move. He tried to fly, dash, but the direction the weight pushed he would constantly change making him like a balloon in a hurricane.

After exchanging more than a thousand blows, both Elijah and Yawen landed on the ground. Elijah may have been the one to hit mostly blows, but it was him the most injured. Golden blood dripped from his fists. Elijah cursed in his heart how tough Yawen's golden scales were.

Even if he had all his power back, it would be hard to win against her, he thought. He had a great variety of attacks, and some of them that could easily destroy a few planets. However, with her experience, Yawen could use even greater attacks without affecting her surroundings like him.

With his eyes, he could see several million possibilities per second. There were too many ways in which he would lose, but he couldn't accept it. Closing his eyes, he felt the presence of his belt. Since the refinement, his phone had truly become one with him. He didn't want to reveal its power before when he was unsure of how many would have their eyes on it. But now he's known as the void clan's son-in-law it would be hard to do anything to him. Even if some wanted to wait until he's away from the city, the prime king and his master would have arrived already.

Boom! In a split second, the entire stage was taken by numerous particles. Everyone below the celestial realms felt their minds turn blank when they fell unconscious on the floor.

"Yawen, you should give it your all because I not sure if I can control it." Particles surrounded Elijah who felt the entire world change. The ground around him broke down into numerous particles and absorbed into the belt. And this stranger, even continued with the air, energy and anything close to him melted and fell into his belt.

Yawen's father, the middle-aged man didn't care about all the people unconscious in the platforms. He just stared at that belt without blinking. His aura turned unstable, as realization fell upon him. His expression gained a hint of excitement as he laughed heartily.

"Hahaha. I see it now, it all makes sense why the patriarch treated my ancestors and clan so well. Why he came to me during the birth of Yawen. My son-in-law in the greatest expert in the abyss." The image of a crown and its twelve gems appeared in his mind. And that small gem on the belt that was so similar, yet crude at the same time.

"Your majesty, are you okay? What is the particles surrounding mister Elijah?" A member of the void clan noticed the change in his majesty's face and decided to ask. He was an early eleventh-step powerhouse that spent most of his time protecting the borders of an abyss, so he rarely left to see other places.

"Yes. I'm perfectly fine. I couldn't have been better. What you see is particle conversion, you could say it is his armament's ability. He can't use his own energy for some reason, so he's absorbing matter and converting into energy for his next move. I've seen it once before." Hiding the last phrase to himself, the void king seemed to see a scene in the past where he saw that man wiping out more than a dozen galaxies in the blink of an eye. At that time, he saw the same scene where the particles gathered at the tip of the crown. He used the galaxy to destroy itself.

Feeling the warmth transmitted into him by his belt, Elijah felt like he was going to burst. However, he didn't have much time to think before he saw a similar grand scene. Just the fluctuation of energy emitted smashed upon Ava and her teammates as well as Aina and Cassie who was unprepared. Even Elliot had blood on his lips because of two opposite energies in the stage.

A hand waved in the air and all of them were transported out of the stage leaving only Yawen and Elijah. The colorless and dignified aura of the laws of time appeared on one side while bright golden light formed on the other with a loud dragon cry resounding across the whole stadium.

Elijah felt as if he was going to faint anytime soon, but he had to stay strong. He knew from the beginning the only way to win was to use the his time shadow. The only question was if he had enough lifeforce to spend in this move of his. If not, it would be disappointing to die soon after his victory.

Then he thought of something. His smartphone could not only serve as a hub for inserting his origins, it had a lot of new functions. One of them was what the void king said just now, Particle conversion.

With enough energy, he knew there was no time to waste. His body couldn't hold this energy for long, so he focused his senses.

Yawen stared at that figure surrounded by light with a wondrous expression. "Choosing you back then was the best choice I made in my life. In respect to how great you became, I'm won't hold back." Gray smoke was expelled from within the golden scales. Black and golden light shone brightly in his right claw.

"Stellar Dragon's claw third stage: Heaven and Earth falls into void!"

A thousand kilometers claw came crashing down on Elijah as if he was an ant only for a similar huge gate appeared by his back.

The illusory form of the gate took shape as it slowly opened, revealing ninety-nine crystal clear runes. Each overlowing with its own laws and infinite power. The moment the draconic clow met the ninety-nine runes in the air, The void king and the other experts in the stadium only had time to teleport its people out of the city before everything was broken apart in a big explosion.

Time and Void clashed in the air, both trying to devour each other but to no end. The entire city of Eternia was reduced to ashes, the protective formation could even endure for a second against the tremendous impact brought by the two attacks.

Elijah was lying down on a thin piece of the stage, all his muscles ruptured. His body was dyed gold with his own blood. His eyes were open, but he couldn't see very well. Yawen on the other side, seemed completely well despite how horrendous the brakes scales and the blood on her body. It was clear to the crowd who had won, but then the void king appeared by his daughter's side and noticed she wasn't standing on the stage but on the piece of a skyscraper that fell into pieces.
