Chapter 249: XIX It's a Promise!
Hours later, Elijah, Yawen's two bodies, Cassie, Elliot and the others went to Elijah's room in the inn. Elliot sat on his mother's lap while eating his bowl of meat, and Elijah watched everyone else for a moment before speaking.
Yawen, Cassie and Elliot knew a little of what he was going to say and their faces grew darker. Seeing everyone was paying attention to him, he told the events that happened in the time war as as well as the cosmic heart success in reaching the celestial world.
When the reached the part about Yawen's brother and his escape from the prime king's crown, everyone took a mouthful of cold air. They knew what the crown was capable of, the crown could bestow incredible powers capable of turning nearly anyone into kings, but with the price of their own free will. Once taken, they would be faithful servants and heralds of the great one.
Reaching this point, Elijah shot his gaze toward Cassie. He could feel the icy intent to kill trying to escape her control. Others in this room may not know, but Cassie herself has experienced all of this before, her world met its end together with her real father.
"All of this happened before the eyes of many gods and immortals, so I'm pretty sure they know what he are going to face. Tomorrow is the tournament's last day as well as the banquet. In the mortal tournament, my team will be facing Yawen's in the finals so it really does not matter who wins. If I'm right, the divine and immortal territory are facing their greatest calamity right now and part of the reason of this banquet is the request for the void king's help to restrain the prime king and the great one. Is this right Yawen?"
Hearing Elijah speak her name both of them nodded and replied at the same time. "Yes. Dad received requests from many factions within the divine territory. A huge allied army is being prepared right now in order to resist the great one. However, from what we heard from our people down in the main universe, the energy density has started to decay together with the cultivation of its people. The great one plan to refine those in the cosmic realm first before turning to us.
"This is bad."Elijah sighed, he knew that form he saw that day wasn't the cosmic heart's true body, but for him to be this far in the game seemed to be wrong. "What about Peuh, they are losing their cultivation as well?"
"Other than the origin disciples and those who only cultivates in the origin path started to show signs of decay in their cultivation, their foundations are growing weaker by the day. However, with Yawen's help, most of Peuh's population has been sent to the Ancestral Spirit Cosmic Realm. We should thank the uncle Ancestal Lord for giving us a place for our people staying. " Aina showed a large holographic screen to Elijah, all the territories and buildings all over Peuh has been emptied.
"Good to know, Oh Aina and how is the spirit inside of you? Binai, Is she well?" A second before he finished the sentence, the air in the room grew colder as ice spread from the floor to the walls. Staring at Aina who had her hair turning white, Elijah gasped, and the latter's hand extended toward him, showing her middle finger.
"What do you think? I'm stuck in an endless world of ice and snow, do you think I like it. Change places with me then."
"I didn't call you here to hear you grumble about your life. If I'm not wrong, you are a princess of the abyss just like Yawen. As for your power, it should be at the peak 10th step. I have something that can break your seal, but you'll have to assist us."
The presence stoped for a moment, and a ghostly image of a white-haired lady appeared in the room. She scratched her chin while in deep thought, moments later, she accepted. "For assistance you mean the prime king? If so, then I suppose it is better to help you guys. However, how will you release me, I've been stuck here for countless centuries."
With a smirk, Elijah pulled the phone out of his pocket. With a part of his own soul serving as the artifact's spirit, he just had to think before the phone transformed into an eight-inch sword.
In the snow world, the white-haired lady saw Elijah is waving the sword in a screen of light before her entire world shook. The sky split and the earth broke, in a blink of an eye the white-haired lady appeared on the room standing before the others.
"It worked! I can't believe it worked, I'm finally free! Little Yawen do you see, those many years of solitude have ended." The lady could hold her excitement and hugged everyone in the room as she yelled to the heavens. Two hours later, everyone else left the room while pulling the screaming Binai out of the room, leaving only black-haired Yawen and Elijah behind.
"Well, what should we do now." Seating on the bed, Elijah didn't know what to say. For years he thought of this scene and when it finally happens, it's like his mind stopped working.
With his face growing red by the moment, Yawen turned to stare at the window. With a soft voice, she mutters. "It's done. We're really a couple from now on... Do you regret it?"
"Never!" His voice soared like thunder before he embraced her perfect body. Both of them could not hold the fire burning inside them anyone and they immersed in their own feelings.
On the next day, Elijah and Yawen headed to the stadium and Elijah began to feel uncomfortable with all the stares directed at him. Some with envy, others with contempt and even lust? It seems news of the black-haired and golden-haired Yawen has spread, and now everyone knows they are one and the same. Elijah was immersed in her thoughts when he felt something pulling his hand, Yawen smiled before sweetly saying something in his ear which instantly turned red. The flames in Elijah's eyes have never burned so much as it burns now.
"Today, we'll face each other on the stage. If you win, I will give you the chance to decide anything you want to do in bed, something that includes my other self is also possible."
"It's a promise!"
